Por Thozhil, the critically acclaimed Tamil crime thriller, is finally coming to the Ott platform SonyLIV on August 11, 2023. The film, directed by debutant Vignesh Raja, stars R. Sarathkumar, Ashok Selvan and Nikhila Vimal in the lead roles. The film is inspired by Subramania Bharati’s poem, Puthiya Aathi Chuvadi, which means “The New Art of War”.

The film revolves around a senior cop (Sarathkumar) and his trainee (Selvan) who investigate a series of murders that are linked to a psychopath on the run. The film explores the themes of crime, psychology, and morality in a gripping and realistic manner. The film also features Sunil Sukhada, Nizhalgal Ravi, Pugazh, Harish Kumar, Simran Jain, Pallavi Singh and Kanmani in supporting roles.

The much-awaited Ott release of the Tamil blockbuster Por Thozhil has finally been announced. The film will be available to stream on Sony Liv. According to the reports, there are high chances the film will be streaming from August 4.

Por Thozhil is a police procedural thriller directed by Vignesh Raja and starring Sarathkumar, Ashok Selvan, and Nivetha Pethuraj. The film follows a police officer who investigates a series of murders targeting young women.
