Just saw it. Nothing groundbreaking, I'm a fan of hand-camera, but this was too much. VERY poor acting. Also it should be mentioned that I am male, and I found this movie to be very sexist. All of the woman characters were written so poorly, they all said one of two things, sometimes both, repeatedly: "What?" "I don't know" usually followed by a dumb laugh of some sort. Really disappointing, could have been great. The actor that played David did a really good job, everyone else, not so much. There was also some scenes that, in my liberal opinion went a little too far. But that is just my opinion. See it for yourself, though I would only recommend the last segment.
I just saw this movie at the Ashland Independent Film Festival and it was amazing. The acting was top notch, the script great, the story interesting and compelling. It was absolutely hilarious and heartwarming, while maintaining that rare sense of reality. It was all around a good quality movie. Don't let the scary and twisted plot outline throw you off, the movie is about so much more. Gabrielle Union and Jeremy Renner had great chemistry on screen and they both did well in their respected roles. I would highly recommend this film to anyone and I would love to see it hit theaters nationwide. The rest of the audience I saw it with enjoyed it as much as I did. Afterward there was a Q&A session with Van Fischer the director, one of the producers and one of the actresses, it was pretty awesome. again, highly recommend, go see it when it comes near you, you wont be disappointed.

I just finished with this movie about an hour ago at the Ashland Independent Film Festival. I liked it very much. It wasn't an A+, top-notch film, but it was done well. The characters are all portrayed well and they all don't seem to lose that, normal, average-joe type of persona. They do, act and say things that wouldn't be found in your normal candid film, but actual dialogue that sounds very believably is heard instead. The realism of the dialogue reminded me of the chatter that is abundant in Good Night and Good Luck. The direction was done well and there was nothing cheesy about the overall production. Though it borders on being melodramatic at times I felt it never actually fell into that category. For such a small production I thought it was done extremely well and would recommend it.
