She was born on the day that the Germans surrendered in Europe, so her mother wanted to name her "Robin Victory in Europe Strasser". The nurse said "You can't do that to a baby!" and wrote "Robin VEE Strasser" instead. Ms. Strasser has said that she never uses her middle name.
