Lacey Chabert and Dustin Milligan reunite at the premiere of their new holiday film Hot Frosty held at The Home Theater on Thursday (November 7) in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old actress got in the festive spirit with a red dress with a sparkly neckline, while her 39-year-old co-star kept it casual in a white tee and black pants.

Also in attendance at the screening were their co-stars Craig Robinson and Joe Lo Truglio, as well as the movie’s screenwriter Russell Hainline and producers Joel S Rice and Michael Barbuto. Kimberly J Brown also stepped out to show her support.

In the new trailer for Netflix’s holiday rom-com “Hot Frosty,” Christmas movie queen Lacey Chabert stars as a widow named Kathy, who magically brings a sexy snowman (“Schitt’s Creek” alum Dustin Milligan) to life. Through his naïveté, the snowman helps Kathy to laugh, feel and love again, as the two fall for each other just in time for the holidays … and before he melts.

At the end of the trailer, Chabert’s character is seen watching Lindsay Lohan’s 2023 Netflix holiday film “Falling for Christmas.” In a nod to their beloved 2004 flick “Mean Girls,” she quips, “That’s so funny. That looks just like a girl I went to high school with.”

Lacey Chabert’s love life heats up with a once-chilly paramour in the trailer for Netflix’s holiday offering Hot Frosty.

Jerry Ciccoritti directs the Christmas romantic-comedy feature that hits the streaming service on Nov. 13, just in time for the holiday season. Rounding out the cast are Dustin Milligan, Katy Mixon, Lauren Holly, Joe Lo Truglio, Craig Robinson and Chrishell Stause.

Hot Frosty follows widow Kathy (Chabert), who is going through a rough stretch until she uses a magical scarf to bring attractive snowman Jack (Milligan) to life. The pair begin to fall for each other but have limited time before he starts to melt.

“Clearly, you’ve been doing your push-ups,” Chabert tells the well-toned snowman before his transformation.

Later, Jack (Milligan) tells a neighbor, “I’ve never been on a date before. I need your help with Kathy.”

Ciccoritti helmed the Christmas movie from a script by Russell Hainline.

Lacey Chabert is starring in another Christmas film, this time for Netflix. The actor, best known for her roles in “Mean Girls,” “Party of Five” and over 30 Hallmark films, will lead “Hot Frosty” for the streamer.

The film will also star Dustin Milligan, Joe Lo Truglio (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”), Craig Robinson (“The Office”), Katy Mixon (“American Housewife”), Lauren Holly (“Dumb and Dumber”) and Chrishell Stause (“Selling Sunset”).

The film’s official logline reads, “Two years after losing her husband, Cathy magically brings a handsome snowman to life! Through his naïveté, the snowman helps Cathy to laugh, feel and love again, as the two fall for each other just in time for the holidays…and before he melts.”

Jerry Ciccoritti will direct from a script by Russell Hainline.

Producers include Joel S. Rice and Michael Barbuto for Muse Entertainment, while Aren Prupas and Jonas Prupas will executive produce.

As surprising as this may seem, given how much we adore and appreciate Italia Ricci, TV Fanatic has never had the opportunity to speak with her.

Lucky for us, she is starring in a new Hallmark movie with the hunky Luke Macfarlane, and she was excited to talk about filming her first Christmas movie for the network, as well as being dazzled by the gorgeous vision of a man who starred opposite her.

All the ingredients are here, from the small town wary of outsiders to the Rv filled with outsiders who come rolling into town with digital cameras filming their every move, from the deadly mystery to the cheesy denouement, from the endless bickering to fill screentime to the questionable camera footage. The opening onscreen text tells us that Happy Camp, CA has reported over 627 missing people in the past 25 years, the highest number in the continental United States, and clearly that’s more impressive than simply saying there have been 628. One of the missing is a young boy named Dean Tanner who disappeared in 1989 while playing with his adopted brother Michael. Twenty...

I am reminded of growing up in the late-80s, watching Unsolved Mysteries on prime-time television. Intrigued by commercials for Time Life’s Mysteries of the Unknown, an encyclopedic series of books about everything supernatural, extraterrestrial and any other unproven or unexplained phenomena, I recall begging my parents to buy me the books about alien abductions, Stonehenge, and mythical creatures that live in our backyards. Sadly, they never did, but I did manage to find the random torn and battered volume available at the local library.

Happy Camp, directed by first-timer Josh Anthony, stirs these nostalgic memories of an era defined by the weird, abstract and unusual. The film is about a man named Michael, played by Michael Barbuto, who returns to his small home town 20 years after his brother went missing as a child. Michael is accompanied by his girlfriend Anne, played by Anne Taylor, and two friends named Teddy (Teddy Gilmore) and Josh,...

Deep within the Klamath National Forest is a backwoods trailer park community called Happy Camp. This is where Michael came to live when he was adopted at the age of 9 by Walt and Sandy Tanner. Two years later, when Walt and Sandy's biological son disappeared mysteriously, Michael was the only eye witness but had no recollection of what happened. The Tanner family quickly disintegrated and Michael was shipped off to yet another foster household. Two decades later, Michael (Michael Barbuto) has agreed to return to Happy Camp with his girlfriend, Anne (Anne Taylor), and her two-man documentary film crew, Josh (Josh Anthony) and Teddy (Teddy Gilmore). They pile into a rickety old Rv that barely makes its way to Happy Camp, making it pretty clear that the foursome will not be driving away from Happy Camp in this vehicle.

I’ll never be one who joins the ranks of haters ranting and raving about how “found footage” horror is single-handedly destroying horror cinema as we know it, because for every atrocious, microbudget genre cash-in blindly praying to be the next Paranormal Activity, we have a Cloverfield or [Rec]. “Found footage” shouldn’t go away because someone is always willing to reinvent the wheel eventually, as a movie like V/H/S did – but Happy Camp isn’t that film. Coming from Drew Barrymore’s production company Flower Films, we’re given a simple rehash of typical genre norms, stringing us along for what feels like an eternity’s worth of mockumentary filmmaking only to end with a weightless payoff. There are hints of originality and vision, teases of something wicked coming our way, but ultimately our investment goes unwarranted – like going to band camp and not coming home with an awesome flute story.

You never know who, or what, is waiting for you during the opening of ‘Happy Camp.’ The horror-thriller is set to open nationwide on March 25 through such On Demand platforms as Time Warner, Comcast and DirecTV, and on iTunes. ‘Happy Camp,’ which was executive produced by Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen, will be distributed by Gravitas Ventures. I personally don't have kids, but if I were a frustrated parent with a bratty, uncontrollable child, I'd be sure to send the little bastard or bitch to Happy Camp, if only for a couple of months of peace and quiet. If they didn't come back, well... um... bonus?
