फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Loved the story but it seemed superficial. They could of had a lot more meaningful talks. Been much more personal. I think that would have made it a really great movie. It seemed like all the potentially great parts of the movie were rushed. Still a good movie but I think it had tons of potential. One could have given more motherly advice and one could have told her about how the world is outside of her Hollywood bubble.
A staple in Hallmark movies, Holly Robinson can be depended upon to give a fine and satisfying performance, but this may be her best yet. She is terrifically authentic here, acting with all the right edge, feelings, emotions, (sometimes) comedy, and genuine warmth that the variety of scenes require. It's a natural and professional performance that you can't help but enjoy. Matching her talents, is Kaylee Bryant, who is equally effective. They have a film chemistry that is totally believable and they serve the script perfectly.
Kudos must go to writer Engman, director Hayter, the editors and the cinematographer. They have created a sort of unique Hallmark film wrapped up in an attractive and totally interesting package. The supporting actors are all very good, particularly the actress who plays Bryant's mother. All in all, something different from Hallmark that really works well, particularly because Robinson and Bryant were able to carry it off.

Holly Robinson is great. Her storyline was great. Ruined it with the woke storyline of the younger girl. It gave nothing to the story. The younger girl's story could have been done correctly and still carried the same weight. I used to love watching Hallmark knowing it was child friendly and wholesome.
Not the typical Hallmark movie, interesting story line with a great message but...
As in many Hallmark movies, there were quite a few disconnects. Some small, some larger. For example, the unrealistic rafting scene, the restaurant scene where the child comes over and silently colors on a paper at a table occupied by the main characters, and the dinner scene where in the middle of dinner, one character asks for pie and gets up to get it while the other two are still eating. A guest would never do that. Especially a prominent actress who prides herself on propriety. These are just a few examples but there were others. I find these take away from the credibility of the story.

This is a great movie to watch with people you love - and it'll make you want to phone them if you're not with them. Holly Robinson Peete was perfect as was Kaylee Bryant. A perfect pairing. The entire cast was well chosen. Kudos to all. There were a few moments that seemed a little slow but the story and acting made up for that. Beautiful scenery as well. I'd definitely watch this again. Two hours well spent.
