Arya known for doing experimental films and roles like Irandam Ulagam, Mr X will also be an unconventional film with commercial elements.

The latest update on the film is that veteran actor Sarath Kumar has joined the cast as a pivotal character. The makers of the film have welcomed him onboard with a poster that features his blurred face and the title Mr. X in red. The poster also has a tagline that reads “Welcome onboard Supreme Star Sarath Kumar Sir”.
