A month after releasing his 28-song screed, Latest Record Project: Vol. 1, Van Morrison has once again teamed up with Eric Clapton for an ornery collaboration. Released under the moniker Slowhand & Van, “The Rebels” is a duet of “Where Have All the Rebels Gone,” one of the songs on Morrison’s most recent studio album.
“The Rebels” takes the song in a more blues-rock direction, with Clapton singing lead and Morrison joining in on harmony vocals throughout the song.
“Where have all the rebels gone?/Hiding behind computer screens,” Clapton sings.

Eric Clapton detailed his “disastrous” health experience after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine and blamed “the propaganda” for overstating the safety of the vaccine in a letter the guitarist shared with an architect/anti-lockdown activist.
Clapton previously shared his thoughts on the Covid-19 shutdown when he appeared on Van Morrison’s anti-lockdown song “Stand and Deliver” in December 2020; two months later, in February, Clapton received his first of two AstraZeneca vaccinations, he wrote in his letter to Robin Monotti Graziadei, who shared the letter on his Telegram with the guitarist’s permission.

Shudder is the latest to unveil its filmed-in-quarantine project with the horror feature Host, which is set to premiere on the streaming platform July 30.
Directed by Rob Savage (Dawn of the Deaf), who wrote the script with Gemma Hurley and Jed Shepherd, Host was shot remotely in the actors’ homes during quarantine and adheres to social distancing rules with inventive ways to deliver the scares, stunts and surprises expected from a horror pic.
Host follows six friends who hire a medium to hold a séance via Zoom during lockdown — but they get far more than they bargain for as things quickly go wrong. When an evil spirit starts invading their homes, they begin to realize they might not survive the night. The movie stars Haley Bishop (Deep State), Radina Drandova (Dawn of the Deaf), Edward Linard (The Rebels), Jemma Moore (Doom: Annihilation), Caroline Ward (Stalling It) and Emma Louise Webb...

Warning: The following recap contains spoilers about tonight’s series finale of Disney+’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars, “Victory and Death”
Visual awe and spectacle, more than the greater expansion of Star Wars mythology, was largely the star of tonight’s series finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, however, the show’s multi-hyphenate Dave Filoni certainly left us scratching for more in regard to the further adventures of former Anakin Skywalker Padawan apprentice Ahsoka Tano.
And technically, no, Anakin did not make one last appearance tonight to speak with Ahsoka, nor was she transported to the events of Mustafar from Revenge of the Sith. However, Anakin’s dark alter-ego, Darth Vader, did put in an appearance during the final moments of “Victory and Death”. The empire’s reign is in full effect.
During the final season, some fans wondered whether Clone Wars would end just as Revenge of the Sith was beginning.

Star Wars fans are gearing up for the arrival of the seventh and final season of The Clone Wars later this month, but that might not be the only new animated show set in a galaxy far, far away that we’re getting this year. January brought reports that Lucasfilm was developing a sequel series to Star Wars Rebels, which it was said could be with us in winter 2020. And the latest report on it narrows things down to a specific month.
Kessel Run Transmissions’ Noah Outlaw was the one to previously bring us that winter release date news and now he’s saying that the Rebels sequel will actually debut in November. As he pointed out, this means that it’ll release just a month after The Mandalorian season 2, meaning we’ll get weekly episodes of both shows simultaneously for a while. For Marvel fans, WandaVision then arrives on Disney Plus in December.
