Yes, it is a remake of About Adam with some differences.

First, I think the director did a better job because most of the people I know understood it better than About Adam. About Adam was too "Woody Allen-ish" for most of the UK viewers. In fact, some of the US viewers did not get the ending at all.

The Korean title was a bit obvious but it helped the viewers understand the ending better. Together with some of Korea's famous actors/actresses, the film was a sure hit.

What I really loved about the two films is that lead actresses apparently sang in each version.
