Denise Richards is returning to E! for Denise Richards and the Wild Things (wt), a half-hour “comedic” docuseries that will premiere in 2025.

The new series will follow Richards, her husband Aaron Phypers and her daughters Sami, Lola and Eloise. Richards’ last series for E! was Denise Richards: It’s Complicated that debuted in 2008. Wild Things is executive produced by Alex Baskin, Joe Kingsley and Jeff Festa for 32 Flavors, Richards for Smoke and Mirrors Entertainment, and Adam Griffin.

Viewed as one of the hardest working men in show business, Ryan Seacrest is looking to expand his vast portfolio of media ventures with the hope of taking over digital cable channel VH1 Soul.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the American Idol host-producer along with live entertainment company Aeg, is in talks with the Viacom owned company to potentially acquire the channel. Although the deal is reportedly in its preliminary stages, if completed Seacrest's position would serve as a partner and producer with the possibility of some on-air contributions.

The star of "Denise Richards: It's Complicated" has recently adopted a baby girl from the United States, her representative confirmed to the press on Wednesday, June 29. She and her two daughters from previous marriage to Charlie Sheen named the new addition, Eloise Joni Richards.

Richards told Us Weekly that she'd consider joining the cast of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' which recently concluded its tumultuous first season.

Former Bond girl Denise Richards has joined the cast of risque U.S. TV comedy "Blue Mountain State" for the raunchy series' second season. The actress will play the sex-mad ex-wife of a football coach who seduces quarterback Alex Moran (Darin Brooks) on the Animal House-inspired show set on the campus of fictional Blue Mountain State college.

Her ex on the show is played by former "Hill Street Blues" regular Ed Marinaro, a former running back for the Minnesota Vikings. Richards tells the USA Today newspaper, "It's a fun, over-the-top show. I enjoyed pushing the envelope, being a little inappropriate."

"Blue Mountain State" is Richards' return to scripted TV as she previously starred on reality TV shows - "Denise Richards: It's Complicated" and "Dancing with the Stars". On this, she says, "I love reality, but I love acting, and it's nice to get back into it. Hopefully, I can do more.

Denise Richards's life might be complicated , but she's hoping to make it easy for others to be inspired by her journey from small town girl to Hollywood fixture. The actress has signed a deal with Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, to publish a memoir about her life after coming to Hollywood - including her marriage to and divorce from Charlie Sheen. "I wanted to write a heartfelt, honest book that would be a source of hope for others going through difficult times," says Richards, who filed for divorce from Sheen while she was pregnant with their second child.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, reality TV overlord Ryan Seacrest is "in early talks" to get his own channel.

Interesting, because we thought he already had one: It's called E!. Does he really need another?

The man's presence is already felt all over the network: he hosts 'E! News,' pretty much all of their red carpet specials, and he created the network's prized reality hit 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians.' He also created 'Denise Richards: It's Complicated,' but that's neither here nor there. Plus, what would an episode of 'The Soup' be without a few cracks at his height?

In his free time (what free time?), the 'Crest hosts a daily radio show, 'American Idol,' 'American Top 40' and 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.'

Deal is reportedly in the works between 'American Idol' host, Aeg and talent agency CAA.

You've no doubt heard "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest referred to as "the next Dick Clark" over the years. But now Seacrest is considering the launch of a project even America's Oldest Teenager never managed to pull off: his own network.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Seacrest is in early talks with the powerful talent agency CAA and live entertainment producer Aeg to launch a joint cable network that would be overseen by Seacrest and feature some content from Aeg's legendary venues such as London's O2 Arena and Los Angeles' Staples Center and L.A. Live.

Ryan Seacrest Productions has already begun developing the dance project which will feature Lady Gaga's choreographer, Laurie Ann Gibson. The details are still not finalized, but the show will revolve around dancers and choreographers in Los Angeles. Gibson, who has already been named as part of the production, choreographed Gaga's videos for Telephone, Paparazzi and LoveGame. Seacrest has already found success with numerous other shows including Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and Denise Richards: It's Complicated.

The network is piloting a project co-starring Lady Gaga choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson.

Details are being fleshed out, but Gibson will be one of a few cast members on the project, which revolves around choreographers and dancers in Los Angeles.

Gibson choreographed the videos for Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi," "Telephone," "LoveGame" and other songs and last year developed a routine on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance."

Former Bond girl Denise Richards could end up having to speak up against her ex-husband Charlie Sheen. According to TMZ, the Pitkin County D.A. has enlisted the help of law enforcement in L.A. County to contact the actress' agent and lawyer about possibility of her testifying in Sheen's criminal case.

You can buy a lot of chest-hair-baring T-shirts with $75 million. Forbes magazine estimates that "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell pulls down that much loot every year, making him the top-earning man in prime time in the U.S.

That haul easily put him ahead of the #2 gentleman on the list, "The Apprentice" host Donald Trump ($50 million), not to mention Cowell's frequent verbal sparring partner, the second-hardest-working-man-in-show- business, "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, who rounds out the top three at $38 million. The calculations are based on estimated pre-tax earnings from June 1, 2008 to June 1, 2009.

In "Bank of Hollywood," a panel of notable names takes pitches from Americans in need of cash. The proposals range from a do-gooder raising money for charity to a grad student who can't afford a ring to propose to his girlfriend.

"The idea's simple," Seacrest said. "We are giving away tons of money to everyday people to alleviate the stress of today's climate and have fun."

To crank up some ratings for "Denise Richards: It's Complicated", Denise Richards has agreed to pull back her hair once again. The actress recreates her infamous "Wild Things" scene for the photo shoot of her reality show's promo.

Similar to the original scene, Denise is in a pool with another woman whom she frolics. But unlike in the 1998 movie where Neve Campbell is her snogging partner, the new promo shows her with an unidentified female model. The captures from the shoots are available for view at The Sun.

Remember the days when you'd go see a movie that was said to have any hint of lesbian-ish interaction, because you didn't see it anywhere else? Well, maybe those days aren't completely over, but we've come a long way since 1998 when Wild Things was released.

I wasn't familiar with Denise Richards at the time, but was a big Neve Campbell fan. Sure, those sweaters she wore on Party of Five weren't so hot, but I would watch her in Scream many times over a summer — and I hate horror movies.

Not surprisingly, when the trailer for Wild Things came out featuring a dark, brooding Neve in a ribbed tank top, I was sold.

This is ... a rich new deal for "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest.

The ubiquitous Seacrest is putting the finishing touches on a contract extension with "Idol" co-producer 19 Entertainment to continue to emcee the top series on TV.

The pact, which is believed to be for three years, will give Seacrest a major pay raise and make him one of the highest-paid reality hosts on tele¬vision. He made slightly less than $5 million this season for his work on "Idol," which breaks down to about $100,000 per episode.

Additionally, Seacrest is said to be expanding his relationship with 19 Entertainment, possibly to develop series with 19 principal and "Idol" creator Simon Fuller.

"Idol" is produced jointly by 19, Fremantle and Fox. All declined to comment on Seacrest's new deal, as did his attorneys at Hansen Jacobson, but the agreement is expected to be announced Monday.

Actress Denise Richards is set to begin filming a second season of her reality TV show It's Complicated after network bosses gave her the green-light for another series.

The former Bond girl's TV return had previously been in doubt amid reports the show had been cancelled after receiving poor viewing figures.

Richards hit back at the claims by insisting TV executives at E! had picked up a second season - more than a month before an official decision had been made.

But she can now breathe a sigh of relief after the news was confirmed on Wednesday.

Sci Fi Channel has greenlighted production on "GameQuest" (working title), an eight-episode elimination-style reality competition that pits 12 contestants against one another in a series of video game challenges to find the "best all-around gamer" in the United States.

"GameQuest," set to premiere in the first quarter, is produced by Granada America and World Cyber Games, with Samsung Electronics as official series production partner.

It will feature top game titles from various studios and includes physical challenges that bring video games to life, as well as elimination challenges in an arena before hundreds of spectators. Contestants will compete for a prize package that includes $100,000 and trips to future World Cyber Games events.

"With two out of every three American households playing video games, it's clear that this mainstream phenomenon is a perfect arena for the channel's agenda of broadening the brand while celebrating imagination," Sci Fi channel president Dave Howe said.

Former Bond girl Denise Richards is in negotiations to star in a second season of her reality TV show It's Complicated.

Despite the drama connected to the first season of the programme, before which the actress' ex-husband attempted to ban their daughters from making appearances, and after which her neighbours complained about filming, Richards is keen to shoot again.

And, following on from reports the show has been axed by the E! network in the U.S., the star says, .We.re having great conversations about season two..

It's been another good summer for cable.

Summer 2008 may not have generated as many ratings headlines for cable as last year, when Disney Channel's "High School Musical 2" blew away viewership records and there was a higher number of original scripted series bows.

But the ad-supported cable networks still are hitting record viewership deliveries this summer. According to Turner Research data released Tuesday, the sector collectively is averaging 6 million more primetime viewers than 2004, the most recent year that included a presidential election and a Summer Olympics.

That group, which includes most basic cable networks with exceptions like Disney Channel, is averaging 51 million total viewers in primetime from May 26-Aug. 17, continuing an annual trend of growing summertime viewership. That figure represents a 13% increase over 2004 but less than a 1% increase over 2007.

Longtime Wma agent Adam Sher is departing the agency to run client Ryan Seacrest's production company as CEO.

Sher has been with Wma since 1993, most recently holding the title of senior vp. Sher, along with Wma chairman and CEO Jim Wiatt and exec vp/head of nonscripted TV John Ferriter, spearheads the team that represents Seacrest, who has been a client for 8 1/2 years.

At Ryan Seacrest Prods., Sher will oversee all divisions of the company, including TV, radio and new media, reporting to Seacrest.

"Ryan has accomplished a great deal over his career, and there isn't a better choice than Adam to continue to build Ryan's powerful brand," Wiatt said. "We look forward to continuing to work with them both."

Sher said Seacrest presented him with an opportunity that he couldn't refuse at a time where the ubiquitous TV and radio host has been expanding his media imprint as well as the company's slate. Its series include E!'s "Denise Richards: It's Complicated" and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"; MTV's upcoming competition show "Bromance," starring Brody Jenner ("The Hills"); and NBC's new "Momma's Boys," in which a group of mothers help their complacent sons choose a bride. Seacrest also has deals with Coke, Cingular Wireless and Procter & Gamble.

"With everything going on, including the success of the production company, his radio deals and everything else, it created an opportune time for me to go over to help him grow Ryan Seacrest Prods. into a full-service media company," Sher said.

Ferriter said Sher's departure means basically a shifting of resources at Wma but expects all of the clients Sher works with to remain with the agency. Because Wma generally has multiple agents working with each client, Ferriter expects a smooth transition, though Sher will stay on for an undetermined amount of time to help with the shift.

"I don't think there is a better person in the world to take Ryan's company to a brand-new level, which is what Ryan has been reaching for," Ferriter said.

As for Rsp, the company's exec team also includes Cfo Jeff Refold, exec vp production and development Eliot Goldberg and senior vp new media development Tony Novia. Sher said he expects an announcement soon on new developments at the company but declined to say more.

Former Bond girl Denise Richards has been dealt another blow just two days after losing another custody battle with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen - she's having to sell her home at a loss.

The actress has placed her Hidden Hills, California estate on the market for $140,000 (GBP70,000) less than she paid for it a year ago.

The home is offered at $4.25 million (GBP2.1 million).

Richards insists she's selling up because she wants to live closer to her young daughters' schools, and that reports she has been forced out by neighbours are untrue.

Those reports suggested people living close to Richards hated the fact that the actress had turned her home into a reality TV location for her series Denise Richards: It's Complicated.

Other locals complained about the fact Richards owns a vast menagerie of pets and did not have the proper paperwork allowing her to keep so many dogs, cats and pigs.

Denise Richards has launched a court battle to block her children from visiting their father Charlie Sheen, claiming there are "serious issues" in the actor's home that could be damaging to them.

The former Bond girl and her lawyer Neal Hersh called an emergency hearing in Los Angeles on Thursday to discuss the matter. It's the latest leg of a bitter and drawn out custody battle between the former husband and wife.

Richards and Sheen are expected back in court to resolve the latest issue next week.

Speaking outside the court Hersh said, "These are serious issues regarding the children. I would hope we will be graced by Charlie Sheen's presence in court on Monday - if he takes these matters seriously regarding his children, like Denise does."

Richards and Sheen - parents to three-year-old Sam and Lola, two - have been feuding in public and private since their split in 2005.
