We return with the latest edition of the Indie Spotlight, highlighting recent independent horror news sent our way. Today’s feature includes details on a new comic series from Titan Comics, a trailer for Wesley Snipes’ Gallowwalkers, and more:

Gallowwalkers Trailer: “A mysterious gunman, Aman (Snipes), is the son of a nun who breaks her covenant with God to ensure his survival. This act brings a curse upon Aman – all those that die by his gun will return. Soon, he is hunted by a gang of his undead former victims, led by the vicious Kansa. Aman enlists Fabulos, a new young warrior, to fight by his side.”

Gallowwalkers was directed by Andrew Goth and stars Wesley Snipes, Tanit Phoenix, Riley Smith, Kevin Howarth, and Patrick Bergin. The movie has been finished for over five years, but Vmi Worldwide recently picked up sales rights to the movie and we should see...

Famous Monsters has received word that Benetone Films and Hillin Entertainment have tabbed young writer-director James Cullen Bressack (Treasure Chest Of Horrors) for a top secret horror film filming in Thailand in January 2013.

Their last production A Stranger In Paradise was also shot in Thailand and featured the talents of Colin Egglesfield (Melrose Place) and Catalina Sandino Moreno (Oscar nominee for Maria Full Of Grace). There isn’t a lot of information at this point, but we will keep our ears to the ground.

Another anthology film is heading our way from executive producers James Cullen Bressack and Jarret Cohen at Psykik Junky Pictures. Entitled Treasure Chest of Horrors, it'll be available on DVD June 19th from World Wide Multi Media.

Doug Waugh and Shawn C. Phillips directed this "no budget" horror anthology starring cult film legend Lloyd Kaufman (Toxic Avenger) and Shawn C. Phillips (Don & Murph), which is filled with zombies, vampires, serial killers, killer mannequins, and pirates!

The horror anthology Treasure Chest Of Horrors is slicing its way to dvd.
