She wanted to make a strong impression at her audition for Non aprite quella porta - Parte 2 (1986), so when she was called in, she went to the end of the hallway and ran screaming into the room. She pulled Tobe Hooper and L.M. Kit Carson out of their chairs and used the chairs to barricade the door, before she began her scene.

Has appeared in the second installments of several popular horror franchises: Non aprite quella porta - Parte 2 (1986), Il patrigno II (1989) and Halloween II (2009).

Has performed with local bands in Texas.

[on acting in Non aprite quella porta - Parte 2 (1986)] "I had never been around a chain-saw before the film, and for some reason, it never registered with me that this guy would be chasing me with a chainsaw, and it would be running!"

[on acting in current horror films] I think this is a very exciting time to be working in the horror genre again. It has this aura of those 70s gritty horror films, where there's this sort of wild attitude about now. It's not about the studios anymore, and I love being a part of it. This is why I love being an actress.

[on Non aprite quella porta - Parte 2 (1986)] It got me to where I am today. It brought me a professional life that I wouldn't have had. It brought me to California where I met my husband and I had my kids and I had my family, and twenty years later it's sort of coming back and kissing me on the cheek a little bit and I'm real happy about that.
