As you start to look through the list of Ryan Murphy shows, you’ll find that there are way more than you initially thought. There’s simply no way that you can watch everything in a short space of time, and there are some shows just not as good as others.

How do you know if something is worth watching or skipping, though? After all, something can seem great from the premise, but then you get into two episodes and realize that it’s just not what was promised. The good news is I’ve watched the majority of his shows now, and I can tell you the ones that just don’t quite hit the mark. Veteran BBC journalist David Dimbleby interviewed Bill Clinton for TV in 2004 and enraged the former US president with questions about his denial of his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

This weekend, Dimbleby – who was for a long time the BBC’s premier broadcaster of public events including general elections and royal ceremonies – shared that he had raised the subject of oral sex with Clinton to win a bet with a friend. The broadcaster told The Times newspaper about why he had asked Clinton – who initially denied sexual relations with Lewinsky – whether oral sex did not count as sexual relations.

“That was a bet actually, the oral sex thing,” Dimbleby revealed. “A friend of mine said, ‘I bet you a bottle of champagne you won’t ask him about that.’ And I said, ‘I bet you do.’ It didn’t go down too well.”

It is being reported that the 26-year-old YouTuber, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has teamed up with the 78-year-old author for a new thriller novel that is already getting offers to be turned into a TV series or movie.

It’s being repped by UTA on behalf of MrBeast and by Robert Barnett and Deneen Howell of Williams & Connolly on behalf of Patterson.

Rita Braver will retire from CBS News Sunday Morning at the end of this month, capping a career at the network that has spanned more than 50 years.

“Those who know Rita and Sunday Morning realize how essential she’s been to our work,” Rand Morrison, executive producer of Sunday Morning, wrote in a message to staffers.

“Not simply because of her excellent reporting, her keen sense of curiosity about all kinds of things, and her willingness to take on almost any assignment – however demanding or complex the subject – but also because Rita has always brought professionalism, clarity, and a passion for quality to every story that’s come her way.”

He added, “To call it this end of an era… barely does justice to the challenges we’ll face now that we can no longer pick up the phone and call on Rita.”

Many fans of the show have noticed that Professor Roy Hinkley (Russell Johnson) was the only reason anyone could survive on "Gilligan's Island." Not only was he able to keep a cool head in extreme situations, but he was also the only one with any kind of engineering knowhow. He was able to repair radios, examine mysterious chemicals that washed up on shore, and it was likely he who constructed the island's aqueduct system. While Mr. and Mrs. Howell (Jim Backus and Natalie Schafer) were lying around drinking mai tais and Gilligan (Bob Denver) was bumbling through life, the Professor was getting s*** done on "Gilligan's Island." The fact that he never became angry on confrontational speaks largely to the character's maturity and command largesse.

The original "Gilligan's Island" series didn't have proper closure, but some late-stage TV movie follow-ups did explore what happened to the castaways later in life.

There’s a lot to love about Cosmatos’ 1993 Western icon, Tombstone. The genre-defining drama brings everything to the table, and it does it all with skillful aplomb. It has all the action of a heart-pounding action film with the heart and soul of a frontier drama. Romance and shootouts coexist within a vivid recreation of the American West. Even now, decades after its debut, Tombstone has a chokehold on Western fans. Its sweeping visuals and all-consuming authenticity have yet to meet a worthwhile opponent.

Of course, most of Tombstone's appeal comes from its actors. The star-studded lineup is filled with “perfect matches,” and everyone fulfills their role beautifully. It’s hard to imagine anything different, but it’s easy to imagine that Tombstone is a true window to the past. Everything feels so vividly real. Every detail is precisely calculated for maximum impact, and every acting choice is driven by the utmost professionalism.

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut was a solid hit when it came out back in the summer of 1999, raking in more than $83 million at the global box office. Pretty good for an R-rated cartoon, but not quite as good as movies like You’ve Got Mail and Stepmom.

But just think of how much money it would have made had everyone that saw the South Park movie in theaters actually bought a ticket for it.

When Bigger, Longer & Uncut was released, a lot of South Park fans under the age of 17 wanted to see the movie, but had trouble buying tickets due to the R rating, which probably wasn’t a shock to creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, considering that the inciting incident of the film’s story involves the kids sneaking into Terrance and Phillip’s R-rated Asses of Fire.

What Parker and Stone couldn’t have anticipated...

Ready to return to “Tombstone?”

The George P. Cosmatos-directed western, which was released theatrically back in 1993, is arriving on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc on April 22, alongside a 4K digital release available on the same day wherever you buy your movies. The film has been “meticulously remastered and restored,” according to the official press release, “with stunning visuals and immersive sound.”

It drains away the book’s thoughtful human complexity and turns it into a laminated Spielberg/Lucas knockoff with bits of Toy Story and Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as simply too many other individual borrowings to count. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order declaring English as the United States’ official language, the first designation of such kind in the country’s near 250-year history.

Emanuel served as U.S. ambassador to Japan during Joe Biden’s administration, after previous stints as an Illinois congressman and mayor of Chicago. He also was the first White House chief of staff to President Barack Obama.
