Directed by Rodolphe Lauga, the French action thriller Ad Vitam stars Guillaume Canet as Franck, a man with a mysterious past who, after surviving a home invasion, must save his kidnapped wife while facing the deadly consequences of his painful past. The French action film Gtmax, has swept aside many other well-known titles to take the top spot on the Netflix global movie chart. The movie is one of several foreign language movies to come from nowhere to dominate the streaming platform in the last several months. In line with Netflixs recent trend for adding some big action movies to its library, GTMax has been hailed as having some of the best action sequences of the year, even though the rest seems to leave a lot to be desired.
