I am strange...at least when it comes to films like "Ivy League Killers". This is because it sure sounds like a terrible exploitation film...but is disappointingly watchable. I was hoping it would be cheaper, worse acted and worse written....as many evil teen films from the 1950s are unintentionally hilarious. Instead, this one is very watchable...not great...but watchable despite having a very low budget and a bunch of no-name actors.
When the story begins, there is a confrontation between a group of rich preppy-types and a biker gang....and the bikers definitely came off on top. On top of that, the girlfriends of one of these rich kids now is interested in the leader of the bikers! So, to get revenge, one of the preps concocts a plan...to commit a robbery dressed as the biker gang in order to pin it on them. Things get out of hand when it turns out the guy who organized this robbery is a total sociopath and kills....all for kicks!
This Canadian movie isn't good...it isn't bad. But for the money they spent to make it and the fact that the actors are all unprofessisonals, it's much better than you'd expect. Mildly exciting and a bit rough around the edges...much like the bikers!
