There are some movies that are so bad that even a cast led by two Hollywood veterans cannot manage to avoid a deadly critical review score. Life on the Line is exactly that kind of movie, but that hasn’t stopped it landing the #1 spot on Tubi this weekend with its true story about the work of electrical linemen attempting to battle the elements during a deadly storm.
Released in 2015, the disaster movie – in all senses of the term – is headed up by John Travolta, who has seen a career filled with incredible highs and some catastrophic lows, with strong support from Sharon Stone, Kate Bosworth, and Devon Sawa. Travolta plays lineman Beau Ginner, who has dedicated his life to maintaining the electrical grid of a Texan town. For those who need the synopsis – brace yourself for this detailed official story description – it reads:

In 2010, Jesse Malin and Green Day released a one-off collaboration under the name Rodeo Queens. The song was titled “Depression Times” and mixed Malin’s nasally voice with the power-punk of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool.
Nine years later, Malin and Armstrong finally follow it up with the new collaboration “Strangers & Thieves,” a track off the New York singer-songwriter’s upcoming album Sunset Kids, produced by Lucinda Williams. It’s a propulsive song, hurried along by jangly guitars, an unrelenting backbeat and an irresistible chorus. Malin had...

Jean-Claude Van Damme discusses how he learned not to take himself so seriously in the new Amazon series, 'Jean-Claude Van Johnson.' Graham Walzer/Redux
Jean-Claude Van Damme – the kickboxing King of the Splits, the street-fighting inspiration for the game Mortal Kombat, the fabled flexing "Muscles From Brussels" – can get seriously silly.

Minor spoilers for season 8 to follow.
After the seventh season was accused of being too protracted and dull by many fans, The Walking Dead looks to be making a major course correction for its upcoming eighth season. For one, the cast and crew have promised that things will be more action-packed and dynamic this time around, as the show reaches the epic “All-Out War” storyline from the comics.
Further proof that things are going to get exciting when The Walking Dead returns comes in the form of a new set video shared by The Spoiling Dead on their Facebook page, which shows the cast and crew filming a secene from the mid-season finale. “This was the night of many Booms! Alexandria is getting beat up,” Tsd wrote. “There were multiple loud, fiery explosions. They took place by the solar panels, church, and Brownstones.”
Take a look at the video below:...

The Broker is a magic man who keeps on giving.
After flipping on Mac's switch on Quarry Season 1 Episode 5, The Broker kept the good feelings going by giving Mac the job of a lifetime.
Mac removed a human stain on Quarry Season 1 Episode 6, and it probably made him feel more alive than he had ever felt before.
So, is The Broker comparing himself to Tom Lee? Because, I'm getting the distinct feeling that he might be seeing himself as a hero of humanity.
If that final scene was any indication, I really don't think The Broker has any clients. He is the client. He's the one who's making the decisions on who to kill. He's finding the human stains of society and is doing something about it.
He's got Karl doing all the research, the car guy prepping the murder kits, and a handful of people to do the dirty work.

In Captain America: Civil War, it appears that Team Iron Man received all the heavy firepower while Team Captain America is comprised of agile, versatile stealth fighters. When it comes down to an all-out battle, it would appear that Iron Man's squad vastly outmatches Steve Rogers' forces in terms of sheer power. This had lead many comic book fans to surmise that someone from Iron Man's team will switch sides at some point. The latest rumor from That Hashtag Show purports as much, and names The Vision as the member that will join Captain America's ranks by the end of the film (they were Dead On with their spoilers for Vision in Age of Ultron). The rumor further goes on to state that at the end of the film, Vision will fly off into space for an undisclosed journey. Of course, even if the Vision does indeed switch sides,...

This week on “Teen Wolf” we open on Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) tossing and turning in his bed. He seems to be having trouble falling asleep, which is probably a relatively normal occurrence for teens living under the constant threat of supernatural beings slicing their heads off. He turns over with a huff before finding Malia (Shelley Hennig) at his side. As she wraps him in her arms, he’s finally able to relax. But he soon realizes that it was only a dream and that Malia is still very much upset with him for keeping her family’s identity from her. Later [...]

Despite having his origins in classic literature, Frankenstein’s monster has become a truly cinematic beast, having shown up in countless screen iterations since first being brought to life by Boris Karloff in 1931. No surprise, then, that I, Frankenstein, originally a comic series by Underworld scribe Kevin Grevioux would get the big-screen treatment, and even less of a surprise to results aren’t particularly pretty.
Aaron Eckhart stars as the creature, this time named Adam, who becomes embroiled in a centuries-old war between demons and gargoyles, who are both God’s warriors on Earth and far less interesting than any early-90s Disney Channel cartoons would have you believe. Though he initially wants no part of the war, having no love for humanity, Adam is forced into the conflict when the demons begin pursuing him, hell-bent...

Troma's Return to Nuke 'Em High: Vol. 1 is enjoying tremendous success, and the legendary Mr. Troma himself, Lloyd Kaufman, sat down with Dread Central along with stars Asta Paredes, Katie Corcoran and Clay von Carlowitz to discuss the making of the film.
It must be noted that interviewing Mr. Kaufman and the cast members of Return to Nuke 'Em High: Vol. 1 all together on Skype is almost like participating in a sitcom as you watch it unfold in front of you.
Beginning with a virtual tour of the Troma offices (complete with video proof that Michael Herz does exist, or was that Joe Fleishaker?) that consisted of Kaufman carrying his laptop around and pointing it at whatever he wanted to show, it was clear early on that this was not going to be a typical interview. The group was candid and loved chiming in on each other's answers. We'll try...

Renowned artist Matt Busch has not only created artwork for bands like Black Sabbath, Motely Crue and Alice Cooper, but he also has a project called Hollywood Is Dead wherein he recreates classic movie posters zombie style.
Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, Hollywood Is Dead will soon be a coffee table book.
Busch doesn't just amend existing posters; he actually recreates the iconic artwork from scratch and adds a touch of the undead to each, coming up with such titles as Breakfast Is Tiffany, Alice from Underland, Beauty and the Feast and Cadavatar. Busch is obviously a massively talented dude with an awesome sense of humor. And now all his work will be collected in one spot as the Kickstarter campaign to create a book of Busch's work was successfully funded after just 12 days.
Check out the successfully funded Hollywood Is Dead Kickstarter page for more info. There are...

Most of the great mysteries of life will never be explained: Where do we come from, why are we here, how does Carrot Top make a living?
But as a special favor to you, readers, we've managed to clear up one of the big ones -- what really happens when we buy the farm?
We talked to author/psychic Mary Ann Winkowski -- a consultant for "The Ghost Whisperer" and the woman Jennifer Love Hewitt's TV character was based on.
Mary Ann filled us in on which movies get it right and which get it dead wrong.
(We also learned there's a ghost hanging out in the NextMovie office, but that's another story.)
Verdict: No Way in Hell 'What Dreams May Come' (1998)
"Entertaining, wishful thinking, but the bottom line is: just because some people commit suicide doesn’t mean they're actually going to Hell. They may not...

Our first look at the upcoming second season of ‘Nashville’ is finally here!
“We need some help in here!” That fateful line is uttered by a doctor working frantically to save Rayna (Connie Britton) in the brand-new promo video for Nashville‘s second season — but it could probably also be uttered by the legions of nervous fans watching through their computer screens. As the ABC series’ Sept. 25 premiere draws closer, the network is starting to release footage of the drama to come, and things are definitely heading south.
‘Nashville’ Season 2: Four Major Spoilers Revealed
This new promo video teases a number of new plot points in season two. Here’s a brief rundown of what we see in the 30-second clip:
1. “Is she gonna die?” asks a rough-looking Deacon (Charles Esten).
2. Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) will be just as selfish as ever. ”Now I have to compete with a saint in a coma?...

Spoiler alert: Stop reading if you haven’t watched the ninth season finale of ‘Grey’s Anatomy!’
Promos for the May 16 season finale of Grey’s Anatomy promised an explosive ending, but they didn’t say anything about a fatal tragedy! So who was the unlucky victim? Drumroll please…
The Chief (James Pickens Jr.)!
Yes, it appears the mighty Richard Webber met his untimely end after coming in contact with water and electricity. (I could have told him that was a bad idea, for the record.) We weren’t given official confirmation of his death during this episode, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t lose him forever. Grey’s has a way of being tricky like that.
Silver lining? At least Richard will be reunited in heaven with Adele (Loretta Devine), who died back in January after Bailey’s wedding.
(See what Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes tweeted about the potential death.

Spoiler alert: Do not read if you haven’t watched the ninth season finale of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ yet!
We were absolutely shocked by the final scene on the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy on May 16. Lives were in jeopardy throughout the entire episode (as expected), but the potential death of a longtime series regular left us reeling.
Grey’s Anatomy Death — Shonda Rhimes Tweets About Ending
It appears that Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) may have died after coming in contact with water and electricity, after attempting to restore the hospital’s power from the basement.
Shonda tweeted on May 16, “Man down,” following the Grey’s finale. Could this be confirmation that Richard, the former Chief of Seattle Grace Mercy West (now known as Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital), is a goner?
Shonda Rhimes: ‘Be Worried’ About Richard
“We’re definitely going to see some people in jeopardy.

CBS is using the big guns of Hollywood: Jerry Bruckheimer, Chuck Lorre, Greg Garcia and David E. Kelley, to usher in more star power and hopefully continued ratings dominance for the 2013-14 series pickups. You can expect eight new series, including three dramas and five comedies that boast Robin Williams, Will Arnett and Marg Helgenberger to name a few. Dead on the vine: Say goodbye to CSI: NY, Rules of Engagement, Vegas and Golden Boy. New to look forward too: "Reckless" is a sexy legal show set in Charleston, S.C., where the classic northsouth opposites attract plot point is in play, as two lawyers have to deal with their intense attraction as they clash over a police sex...
