It was announced back in June 2022 that Guy, played by actor Hugo Speer, will not appear at all in the new reboot series. The Full Monty reboot will consist of all the other previous members of the original Sheffield crew other than Guy, including Mark Addy as Dave, Robert Carlyle as Gaz, and Lesley Sharp as Jean.
