Insaniyat

This is a Hindi language film starring Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand and Bina Rai in key roles.

The plot revolves around a tyrant's army commander parting ways with them and thereafter protecting the villagers that the tyrant was bent on looting.

Dev Anand is quite miscast as this central character - especially with an out of place moustache - but plays the part well.

The show stealer is Dilip Kumar who plays a simpleton at heart but a brave soul who consistently inspires the villagers to do what's right and to raise their spirits during battle.

The film quite entertaining despite its length. And full credit to the script, direction and editing for that. The support cast including a very talented chimp, the beautiful Mohana, Agha along with Jayant who lives the role of the villain are all quite impressive.

Insaniyat was one of the highest grossing films of the year and deservedly so. The highlight is Dilip Saab's natural, versatile and intense performance!
