Bruce Springsteen has announced the release of Tracks II: The Lost Albums, a massive new collection containing seven previously unreleased albums recorded between 1983 and 2018.

Set for release on June 27th, Tracks II contains a total of 82 previously unreleased tracks, including 74 never-before-heard songs. Among the albums collected in the set are: LA Garage Sessions ’83, featuring songs recorded in the period he developed Born in the U.S.A.; Streets of Philadelphia Sessions, which includes material recorded alongside his Academy Award-winning title track to the 1993 film Philadelphia; Faithless, which was originally conceived for a film project; and a self-described “lost album” called Perfect World. Filmmaker Thomas Elliott Griffiths’ documentary The Little Things will be released globally thanks to distributor Buffalo 8. More on the film below.

Derian House Children’s Hospice is at the centre of Thomas Elliott Griffiths’ new documentary, The Little Things, which has just scored a huge distribution deal with Buffalo 8. The documentary takes inspiration from producer Paul Woodward’s own experiences at the Lancashire hospice, where his son Kalel received care until his passing in 2019.

“Both Tom and I are delighted that Buffalo 8 has picked up our documentary for global distribution,” Woodward said in a press release. “The entire team at Old Swan Films worked incredibly hard to deliver a truly beautiful cinematic story. We have all taken Derian House to our hearts, and we hope audiences around the world will too. This is an opportunity for people to step inside a children’s hospice and witness what truly happens behind the walls.

2021's "The Little Things" is a fascinating little moment in cinematic history, not only because it debuted at the height of the global pandemic, but also because it was so close to being good that it almost doesn't make any sense that it wasn't. Writer/director John Lee Hancock produced a slick and stylish noir with an ending that at least tried to subvert some well-established tropes of the genre, leaving the central mystery unsolved. Denzel and his co-stars Rami Malek and Jared Leto all gave it their best, with Denzel in particular melding his undeniable charisma with a palpable sense of mournful regret. It should have been great, and yet it turned out sort of okay.

Work is still underway on Amazon MGM Studios' live-action Voltron movie, and the latest update has three more cast members getting in on the adaptation. While further details are light, we now know that Sterling K. Brown is joining the cast alongside Rita Ora ( Pokémon: Detective Pikachu ) and John Kim ( The Little Things ). Rawson Marshall Thurber is directing, based on a script Thurber wrote with Ellen Shanman. In a VoltCon video message, Thurber added that they are "going to be introducing an entirely new generation of pilots" in the film, and have "reimagined Voltron for the live-action world" while staying true to the "iconic elements that you love.

Sterling K. Brown, Rita Ora and John Kim have been cast in Amazon MGM Studios’ Voltron movie, joining previously announced stars Daniel Quinn-Toye and Henry Cavill. Rawson Marshall Thurber is directing from a script he wrote with Ellen Shanman.

Plot details are under wraps, but Thurber shared a video message with Voltron fans during VoltCon in which he shared: “I want to make sure that we stay true to the heart and the spirit of Voltron. The trio join Henry Cavill and relative newcomer Daniel Quinn-Toye to star in the ensemble piece that gets underway December in Australia.

Voltron is based on the Japanese sci-fi series Beast King GoLion and Kikou Kantai Dairugger Xv. World Events edited and dubbed the series as a syndicated show, naming it Voltron: Defender of the Universe, which ran in the mid-1980s. The premise centered on five young pilots in a battalion named the Robot Lions, which are vehicles that join together to form a mega-robot known as Voltron.

“Cruel Intentions” is getting a new life in Prime Video’s TV series adaptation, which takes the twisted tale to collegiate Greek life.

Sarah Catherine Hook and Zac Burgess star as Caroline Merteuil and Lucien Belmont, respectively, step siblings who strike up a malicious deal for Lucien to seduce the VP’s daughter, Annie Grover (Savannah Lee Smith), who Caroline sees as her ticket to make her sorority untouchable amid backlash for a controversial hazing incident.

The main characters follow closely in the footsteps of the 1999 movie, Selma Blair’s Cecile Caldwell transforming into Sara Silva’s CeCe Carroway. Sean Patrick Thomas also reprises his role from the movie as CeCe’s love interest, but with more of an age difference this time.

“Lunik Heist,” written and to be directed by Kemp Powers, is inspired by the audacious true story of the American government’s plot to steal a Soviet spacecraft during a 1959 mission in Mexico City. The script is based on an article by Jeff Maysh, published in MIT Technology Review. Maysh serves as an executive producer.

Leto and Emma Ludbrook are producing under their Paradox banner, along with Mark Johnson for Gran Via Productions. Director of development Zahra Phillips will be overseeing the project for Searchlight Pictures, reporting to head of production and development DanTram Nguyen.

“We’re so thrilled to bring together such an exceptional team,” Matthew Greenfield, president of Searchlight Pictures, said in a Friday statement to TheWrap.

The events saw the CIA, in wanting to find out the scientific capabilities of the Soviets, intercept and abscond with a space probe, study its secrets and return it without the other side knowing what had occurred. The heist remained a secret until it was declassified in 2019.

Deadline notes, “First footage of the film will be unveiled to buyers by Film Bridge International’s After Dark label at the upcoming American Film Market in Las Vegas.”

The site details in today’s report, “The story revolves around a woman who participates in a healing ceremony conducted by the Fundamentalist Latter Day Saints (Flds), aimed to relieve her of her unexplained blackouts. During the ceremony, they unwittingly unleash the demonic spirit of a witch, determined to take revenge on all those who have wronged her.”

Elizabeth Cullen (Elvis), John Harlan Kim (The Little Things), and Mia Challis (Outer Banks) star in the upcoming Diabolic, which was recently shot on location in Australia.

Fallout recorded 2.9 billion minutes of viewing time in the U.S. over its first five days, according to Nielsen’s streaming ratings for April 8-14. That’s far and away the best opening for a series on the Amazon-owned Prime Video, beating Reacher’s series premiere week in early 2022 (1.84 billion minutes) by more than a billion minutes.

Monsanto tells the true story of young, untried attorney Brent Wisner (Powell) who takes on a seemingly insurmountable case against the giant U.S. chemical company Monsanto on behalf of Dewayne “Lee” Johnson (Mackie) who used Monsanto’s best-known product Roundup, a wildly financially successful weed and grass pesticide killer, as part of his job as a high school groundskeeper. During the trial, Dr Melinda Rogers (Dern), the chief toxicologist of the Monsanto Company, testifies with certainty that Roundup is safe.

Pic’s screenplay was developed in association with Karl Spoerri’s Zurich Avenue and penned by Michael Wisner, Alexandra Duparc, Ned Benson and Hancock. Producers are Moritz Borman, Eric Kopeloff, Philip Schulz-Deyle and Jon Levin alongside HyperObject Industries’ Adam McKay and Kevin Messick.
