Mumbai, March 21 (Ians) ‘Faltu’ actress Niharika Chouksey compared the bond between herself and her co-star Aakash Ahuja with the friendship of Rahul and Anjali, portrayed by Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.

To celebrate the National Cinema Day on September 16, Swara Bhaskar-starrer ‘Jahaan Chaar Yaar’ tickets will cost just Rs. 75 across the country as the Multiplex Association of India (Mai) offers a special price to celebrate cinema.

The Mai also said that 75 tickets were a ‘thank you’ gesture for moviegoers who contributed to the successful re-opening of cinemas post the pandemic-induced lockdowns.

Producer Vinod Bachchan delighted on Mai announcing National Cinema Day on September 16: “I think this is wonderful news for cinema lovers all across the Country. MAIs decision to celebrate national cinema day by offering tickets at Rs. 75 to consumers might bring audiences together to enjoy a day in the theatre.”

Bollywood Director Kamal Pandey, who has written the superhit show ‘Na Aana Iss Des Meri Laado and ‘Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, is currently gearing up for his upcoming directorial ‘Jahaan Chaar Yaar.

The director recently opened up on his idea of liberation in the film. The film, which stars Meher Vij, Pooja Chopra, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhasker, tells the story of four friends who studied together in school and college.

Kamal said, “All films made on friendship revolve around young actors and actresses. No one has ever thought of making a movie on or telling stories of middle-aged married women with kids.
