My recommendation is to include, from time to time, a guest role/charachter (e.g often mentioned collateral charachters in story)

The series has enough potential to become a movie or be played in theatre.

It could take over the flag of "Barking on the stars" and lead further.

The taste of such great series will last ver long and as time is passing by the rewatching will be ultimate pleasure.
