Jason Momoa has done it all. His breakout role came with the role of Khal Drogo in the HBO hit series Game of Thrones, which propelled him into superstardom, with several action, comedy, and superhero roles to follow, including the leading role as Aquaman.
Momoa has proven to be a bankable movie star, and his roles have led to over $4.5 billion at the worldwide box office (via The Numbers). His projects haven't always been a hit with the critics, but he has always drawn people to the theaters. With the surprising success of the critically panned A Minecraft Movie, Jason Momoa continued an exciting Rotten Tomatoes trend for the audience scores.

Jason Statham may be known more for his action and less for his performances, but the Working Man star may have more to give in this later stage of his career. Statham recently worked with director David Ayer for The Beekeeper, the action thriller that grossed over $160 million globally before premiering on Prime Video and becoming a streaming hit in 2024. A sequel to the film is already set to begin filming later this year, but Ayer will not return and will be replaced by Timo Tjahjanto. Ayer is set to reunite with Statham on A Working Man later this month, and Collider’s Steve Weintraub recently caught up with the director on the press circuit where he shared his praise not for the legendary action star’s fists but for his “underutilized” performances:

Two YouTube channels, which specialise in making fake, AI-generated trailers of major films, have just lost their ad revenue.
The experience of searching for trailers on YouTube could be about to change, as YouTube is said to have turned off monetisation for two of the platform’s major accounts. Collectively, the channels Screen Culture and Kh Studio have a subscriber base of 2m users, and have long specialised in uploading fake trailers for popular movies and TV shows.
Over the past day, Screen Culture uploaded a supposed ‘release trailer’ for A Minecraft Movie, which mixes genuine footage with AI-generated material. Similarly, Kh Studio recently uploaded a trailer for 'Fast X: Part 2’ which blends sequences from Fast X, shots from Jason Statham’s The Beekeeper and generative AI imagery. The Fast and Furious franchise has taken more twists and turns than perhaps any other series, and now we can add another to the mix, as ahead of the 2026 release of Fast X: Part 2, star Vin Diesel is teasing a possible "precursor" to the finale. Beginning in 2001, the Fast and Furious saga has stretched across a multitude of mediums, including feature films, spin-offs, TV shows, video games, and short films.
Taking to his Instagram account, Diesel references one of those short films in a new post that hints there's another chapter in the long-running series to go before we get to the grand finale next year. Fans will recall that 2009's Los Bandoleros – which Diesel directed – was included as part of the Blu-ray special features on Fast & Furious (a.k.a. DC fans everywhere are eager to see the first look at Jason Momoa as Lobo, but we're going to have to wait a while. After playing Aquaman in the Dceu, brought to life by Zack Snyder, Momoa will finally have the chance to suit up as his dream character in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow opposite Milly Alcock’s Kryptonian hero. Momoa was tapped to the role of Lobo, and although the 2026 tentpole is well over halfway through filming, there has still been no official look at Momoa’s Lobo released to the public. During a recent interview with Collider’s Steve Weintraub to promote his upcoming Minecraft movie with Jack Black, Momoa played coy and declined to share a photo of himself as Lobo that is on his phone, but not for lack of desire:

At the start of 2025, Vin Diesel hyped up production for Fast X: Part 2 on social media by unveiling Dominic Toretto’s classic 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 from 2001’s The Fast and the Furious. The car was famously destroyed by a truck in the original blockbuster hit’s finale involving a final race with Brian O’Connor (Paul Walker). Teasing how "history is being made," the car’s reintroduction by Diesel may well be a sign about the next Fast installment potentially dialing back the outrageous espionage adventures in favor of providing fans a full-circle moment for the long-running franchise.

Gal Gadot switches from a beloved DC hero to a reviled Disney villain thanks to her antagonist role in the anticipated Snow White remake. Though being a baddie is new territory for the acclaimed actor, she insists she had the appetite for the "delicious" role of the Evil Queen in the live-action adaptation from the beginning.
Speaking with Variety before her induction into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Gadot shared her thoughts on playing Evil Queen, the tyrannical and envious stepmother of Rachel Zegler's Snow White. The reinterpration of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs not only sees Gadot portray a villain, but sing on-screen for the first time while doing so, challenges she embraced during production. “It was different than anything that I’ve ever done because I was playing the villain,” she said. “She’s so theatrical and so grand and bigger than life … it was a delicious role to play.

Despite being one of the most profitable franchises in Hollywood, Fast & Furious continues to be a regular subject of tabloid headlines for its ridiculous scandals and controversies. One of the biggest headline-grabbers has been the feud between co-stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson, which muddied the waters and made for an entertaining public spectacle until the latter’s return in 2023.

Alan Ritchson has found a home on Prime Video as Jack Reacher, but in 2023, he was lured away into the world of the Fast & Furious. Ahead of the big game on Feb. 10, many big brands splashed on creative ads to premiere during the game, and Haagen-Dazs enlisted the help of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges. The three actors have been with the franchise since the beginning, playing Dominic Toretto, Letty Ortiz, and Tej Parker, respectively, via Häagen-Dazs US on YouTube.

The Fast and Furious franchise debuted over two decades ago, and it was initially a street racing film series. Following its immense success at the box office, the films further branched out into different genres like espionage, heists, and conspiracies, but, for the final entry, Fast X: Part Two, they want to go back to basics.
During an interview with Collider to promote her upcoming romantic slasher, Heart Eyes, franchise star Jordana Brewster also addressed the high-octane franchise. The actress, who plays Mia Torreto in the series, made her first appearance in 2001's The Fast and the Furious, and took a break from the series until the fourth film, 2009's Fast & Furious, and has starred in every entry since. However, for the end of the franchise, she wants the series to be "gritty" and return to its roots.

Despite the ongoing fires in Los Angeles that have caused numerous deaths and billions in property damage, Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel is determined to finish shooting Fast X: Part 2 in the City of Angels. Los Angeles served as the setting for the first film all the way back in 2001, but since then, the franchise has gone global, and visited such locales as Tokyo, England, Azerbaijan, and Berlin.
Taking to Instagram to share his desire to bring Fast X: Part 2 "back home," Diesel posted a photo of himself and fellow co-star Jordana Brewster (seen below), who has portrayed his sister Mia since the series' inception more than two decades ago. In the caption that accompanied the picture, he said it was Brewster who opened his eyes to bringing the franchise back to where it all started, and now he's as determined as ever to make that happen.

Vin Diesel recently announced that the final scenes of Fast X: Part 2 will be filmed in Los Angeles, marking a return to the city where the franchise first began 25 years ago. On social media, Diesel said the move is a way to support the city’s economy, which has been struggling after massive wildfires caused widespread damage.
Jordana Brewster, Diesel’s co-star in the franchise, urged him to push Universal to relocate the production to LA. According to Diesel, she emphasized that the city ‘needs it now more than ever.’ Universal has not yet commented on the decision.
The first Fast and Furious movie focused on LA’s street racing culture, but over the years, the series has expanded to shoot in locations like Tokyo, Rio, London, and Havana. Now, with wildfires continuing to cause destruction in Los Angeles, the decision to return feels particularly meaningful.

“Los Angeles is where Fast and Furious started filming 25 years ago… and now Fast will finally return home,” Diesel declared on social media.
On Instagram, Diesel said that Jordana Brewster, his co-star in the series, reached out to him and urged him to press Universal to move the rest of the filming to Los Angeles, saying that the city “needs it now more than ever.” It’s unclear how much more of “Fast X: Part 2” is left to shoot. Not every action movie can be Fast and Furious – something which star Tyrese Gibson discovered with his 2022 action thriller. While it was maligned upon release, The System has now found success on free streaming, topping the Tubi charts and taking the #1 spot from the likes of The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Jason Statham’s Mechanic: Resurrection.
Written and directed by Dallas Jackson, The System stars Tyrese Gibson alongside Terrence Howard (Iron Man), Jeremy Piven (Entourage), and Lil Yachty and follows a former Marine who, after being forced into a desperate situation, finds himself at the center of a drug deal gone wrong and going undercover in one of the most dangerous prisons in the world. If that doesn’t already sound thrilling enough, we haven’t told you about the underground fight club yet. The System is now available to stream for free on Tubi, and you can check out the official synopsis below.

If there is one thing more ridiculous than the over-the-top action of the Fast and Furious franchise, it's the beef between Vin Diesel and one of his co-stars. The actor, who is best known for playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast and Furious films, has also been known to be incredibly vocal with random and sometimes cryptic posts on social media. Now, the actor's recent Instagram post seems to indicate that the long-standing unspoken feud between him and his co-star Dwayne Johnson has come to an end. For real, this time.
After an awkward acknowledgment of Johnson at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, some were uncertain whether the disagreements between the two actors had really been settled. Now, a new Instagram post from Diesel, which is a photo of him and Johnson smiling together, with the caption “All love…always” has helped to quell any suggestions that the two actors have any problems with one another.

Any lingering tension between Fast & Furious stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson seems to be a thing of the past for the former despite their undeniably awkward exchange at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards. Diesel's first social media message since their viral encounter at the ceremony insists there's nothing but "love" between them.
Via his Instagram page, Diesel seemingly addressed the exchange with Johnson at the Golden Globes by posting a picture of himself and his Fast & Furious castmate smiling from a past event. Diesel kept his caption short but sweet, insisting it is "All love...always..." between himself and the wrestler-turned-actor.

Vin Diesel shares a new post on social media, seemingly addressing his encounter with Dwayne Johnson at the 2025 Golden Globes. Diesel is best known to audiences for playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise, which Johnson joined in 2011 as Luke Hobbs. The reported feud between the two actors dates back to 2016, but the pair seemingly buried the hatchet in 2023 with the release of Fast X. Diesel saying "Hey, Dwayne" followed by an uncomfortable beat while presenting at the Golden Globes on January 5, however, led to more speculation about the pair's dynamic.
Now, after his moment with Johnson went viral on social media, Diesel takes to Instagram to assure fans that there's no bad blood between them. The actor shares an image from the Fast Five premiere 14 years ago of him and Johnson posing together but doesn't directly address the Golden Globes moment in his caption. Instead, Diesel writes "All love.

Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson share an awkward greeting while the former presents at the 2025 Golden Globes. Diesel remains best known for his work in the Fast & Furious franchise, having played leading man Dominic Toretto since 2001. Johnson joined the franchise as Luke Hobbs in 2011's Fast Five, a role he has now reprised in multiple sequels. It’ll be a family affair at the Golden Globes on Sunday, as Fast and Furious franchise costars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot will be among this year’s slate of awards presenters, the Golden Globes Foundation and CBS announced today.
It’s unlikely all three will appear together, of course. Gadot, who recently revealed she underwent emergency surgery for a blood clot in her brain before giving birth to her daughter in March 2024, will presumably appear to help promote her upcoming film, Snow White. Johnson is currently starring in Moana 2 opposite Auli’i Cravalho, and the actress is also booked as a Globes presenter — perhaps they’ll be paired much like their characters, Maui and Moana, respectively, are together in the film. Fast X: Part 2 gets a new tease from Vin Diesel, who shares a video showing off the sequel's practical driving stunts. Coming more than 20 years after the franchise's debut entry, Fast X hit theaters last year, continuing the story of Diesel's Dom Toretto and his family, this time as they face off Dante (Jason Momoa), a new villain. Diesel revealed several weeks ago that Fast X: Part 2 filming is now seemingly underway with returning director Louis Leterrier, with a release eyed for 2026.
