The professional wrestling scene has been a unique blend of emotionally gripping storylines, neatly sewn together with high-octane action, athleticism, and a dash of disbelief. Triple H’s WWE has been doing the same, where sometimes he decides to take things up a notch with the inclusion of blood.
Jon Moxley. Credits: Aew
This decision has always been a divisive one, where some believe that it enhances realism and brings out the true combative nature of the sport. However, some feel this incorporation has risks and serious consequences. Though it can’t be justified, it seems Jon Moxley has developed a serious liking to color himself in his own blood in almost all of his matches.
Something similar was witnessed at Aew Dynamite, where he decided not to blade himself. Instead, he used a spiked bat to make the main event more dramatic.

When we think of the most detested WWE heels in the modern landscape of entertainment wrestling, Dominik Mysterio would emerge as the ideal candidate. The character embraces himself as the bad guy and goes to unimaginable lengths to ensure the hate keeps coming to him.

However, behind all his villainous antics and making a name for himself, one wonders what made him sever his bond with his father, Rey Mysterio. Despite using his father’s name and him as his influence, he seemed to have bitterness simmering for his father for a long time, which surfaced at the 2022 pay-per-view event, Clash at the Castle.
However, it was not sudden because there were 3 major reasons behind his actions that became a major turning point in his career, making him betray his father. Here are 3 reasons that birthed a feud that will last for a generation.

John Cena’s promo and his confrontation with WWE champion Cody Rhodes had everyone amazed. It got rave reviews from fans all over the globe. In the segment, we saw a whole new side of Cena. Rhodes, too, in just a few words expressed his disgust over the justifications Cena gave. It was a long segment but got to the point pretty nicely. A lot of people were impressed but Vince Russo(former WWE writer) wasn’t all that happy with Rhodes’ performance.
Vince Russo thinks Cody Rhodes could have done more
During the latest episode of his show, Russo remembered the last time both John Cena and Cody Rhodes were in the ring.

He pointed out that Cena brutalized Rhodes and all the latter did was call him names. He, then, compared Rhodes’ actions to what Stone Cold Steve Austin would do.

Chappell Roan’s new song “The Giver” is officially being serviced to country radio, a rep for Universal Music Group Nashville has confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
Umg Nashville is working the song on behalf of fellow Umg label Island Records, Roan’s official label. As of Tuesday, the song had early spins at several country stations, including Kdfi in Wichita, Kansas, Wzzk in Birmingham, Alabama, and, not surprisingly, Ktts in Springfield, Missouri, according to Mediabase. It’s still being outpaced by the Top 40 format, where “The Giver” had double the exposure on stations like Omaha’s Kqch, Knoxville’s Wwst and Springfield’s own Kspw Power 95.5. SiriusXM’s Hits 1 also join the list of early believers.

Lady Gaga brought the Mayhem on Saturday, March 8, as she served as Saturday Night Live host and musical guest for the first time since 2013. But as the show’s cold open proved, there’s also mayhem in U.S. politics at the moment. Here are highlights from Saturday’s episode. Mike Myers channels Dr. Evil as Elon Musk Following reports of an explosive White House meeting between Marco Rubio and Elon Musk, Saturday’s SNL cold open riffed on the two men’s conflict, with Marcello Hernández playing the secretary of state and Mike Myers returning to play the billlionaire-turned-doge boss. And as Myers’ Musk fretted internally about his changing fortunes, the actor channeled another of his famous characters: Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers films. “My Tesla stock is crashing and my personal net worth just dropped by $100 billion dollars,” Myers’ Musk said via voiceover as Myers brought his...

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) murderer might have just come to light – and it’s none other than Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna)! There are compelling reasons to believe that Brennan was the one who ended Austin’s life back in November 2023.
Austin’s Killer Has Been A Mystery
The mystery surrounding Austin’s demise has remained unsolved until now. While there were hints that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) might have had a hand in Austin’s fate, it’s possible that the show was deliberately misleading the audience.
Austin was on the verge of revealing his boss’s identity and providing crucial evidence for an immunity deal when tragedy struck.
Given that Austin was coerced into doing Cyrus’s bidding, many fans speculated that Cyrus was responsible for his death. Yet, this theory feels too simplistic; If that were the case, why has the...

ABC is taking the 911 franchise to Music City.
The network has placed a series order for 911: Nashville, marking the third show in the first-responder franchise. The pickup comes on the heels of 911: Lone Star ending on Fox.
As with the other shows in the 911-verse, 911: Nashville hails from 20th Television and Ryan Murphy Television. Murphy, Tim Minear and Rashad Raisani will serve as executive producers and writers; Brad Falchuk and 911 star Angela Bassett are also EPs. Casting and other details will be announced later.
Ideas for a third series in the franchise have been percolating for some time, with Las Vegas floated as a potential setting. Murphy said last fall that he and Minear were working on a script for a third show, with Nashville ending up as the preferred location.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers tease that things aren’t always what they seem to be in PC and beyond. Take for instance Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) being caught in Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) Pautuck cabin.
That was a shot out of nowhere and now fans are conjecturing like mad about this strangeness. One of the wilder theories involves Stone Cold Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and here is everything you need to know!
Jason’s Frameup by Cyrus?
Cyrus is a cold-blooded killer who has a connection to Austin—he paid for his medical school tuition. In exchange, Austin did Cyrus’ dirty work including patching up bad guys, no questions asked.
When Austin tried to wiggle out from underneath the bad guy’s thumb, he was suddenly murdered and the crime remains unsolved. Could Austin still be alive?
Is Austin Actually Alive and Thriving?
As a doctor Austin could have easily faked his death.

Viewers are well aware that Austin met a tragic end in November 2023, yet the identity of his killer has remained a tantalizing secret.
Many Suspected Cyrus Renault
Many fans speculated that Cyrus could have been behind Austin’s disappearance or had someone else carry out the deed, but no solid proof ever emerged.
As time passed, viewers began to fear that Austin’s story would slip into obscurity, leaving the mystery unresolved forever, no one ever paying for murdering the doctor.
However, it seems that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) may be the key to bringing justice for Austin, if she can dig up enough proof in the process of her investigation.

This article contains spoilers for the series finale of “9-1-1: Lone Star.”
“9-1-1: Lone Star,” aired its series finale on Monday night and, sadly, two potential spinoffs at Fox never came to pass: One starring couple Tk (Ronen Rubinstein) and Carlos (Rafael Silva) (also know by their fandom nickname “Tarlos”) and one centered around Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) in New York.
“Lone Star” showrunner Rashad Raisani told TheWrap that he was “desperate” to get the Tarlos series off the ground and hopes that it might still happen. He also explained that one of the reasons he didn’t kill off any of the main characters in the Austin-set series is that he hopes they can show up in ABC’s upcoming “9-1-1” offshoot, which is currently in development.
“9-1-1” moved to ABC for Season 7 and the new spinoff will also be set up at ABC, but Fox was not interested in continuing the franchise.

The Traitors popped up out of nowhere and captured my attention because it featured a melting pot of talent from various reality TV series.
When The Traitors Season 2 premiered in 2024, it towered above the first in unimaginable ways.

Mike Myers has admitted he was “scared s***less” when he first met his Saturday Night Live co-stars. The Wayne’s World actor was a cast member on SNL from 1989 to 1995.
Myers may have become one of the most successful comedians to come out of SNL, but he came from humble beginnings in the Second City comedy troupe’s touring company. He has reflected on moving from the smaller-scale Canadian improv scene to a starring role at 30 Rock in an interview with the Good One podcast. “When I got to Saturday Night Live and saw how f***ing good these guys were, I was scared s***less. I had an anxiety attack,” he remembered.

Off a residential street deep in the south of Austin, behind a light-up sign that says “South Austin: Still Weird,” sits a cozy, rambler-style watering hole called the Far Out Lounge. An on-and-off spot for live music starting in the early 1900s, the bar got a new life five years ago when Pedro Carvalho and two of his friends took over the business. Carvalho, 37, a longtime musician and Austinite, expanded the bar’s musical repertoire far beyond its previous comfort zone of cover bands and karaoke, hosting everything from...

New Patrick Bateman. What do you think? Oho. Very cool. Let's see Austin Butler's Patrick Bateman. Look at that subtle, off-Memphis Elvis Presley accent. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has an Oscar nomination. Yes, that's right, the Oscar nominated star of Baz Luhrmann's has been tapped to star as the iconic serial killer in acclaimed director Luca Guadanigno's new take on the iconic Bret Easton Ellis novel, American Psycho. Butler beat Jacob Elordi to the role, according to Variety, who reported the news, and it's funny because both of them played Elvis Presley recently. However, their views on Huey Lewis and the News are not yet known.

Carrie Fisher was hesitant to enter Austin Powers’ groovy world. The star had a small role in 1997 film “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery” but, according to director Jay Roach, Fisher was “so nervous” about the bit part. Fisher played a family therapist who works with Mike Myers’ Dr. Evil, his clone Mini-Me (Verne Troyer), and son Scott Evil (Seth Green).
“One of my favorite days of shooting ‘Austin’ was when Carrie Fisher played the therapist,” Roach wrote in a piece for Vulture. “She was so nervous about it, and she didn’t know if she could be funny. She had recently become sober after a public struggle with addiction, an experience she mined in her novel and film, ‘Postcards from the Edge.’ The hope was that her being super functional as the therapist would play against what people knew about her at the time.”

Yeah, baby, yeah! Or perhaps Maybe, baby, maybe! is more fitting. As Mike Myers gears up to return to the swamp with Shrek 5, we can’t help but wonder if one of his other trademark characters, Austin Powers, will be making a randy return to the screen. And while nothing is on the docket just yet, Myers isn’t ruling it out.
When pressed if Austin Powers would return in a fourth installment, Mike Myers told TooFab after some hesitation, “I would be surprised if it didn’t.” Myers has spoken of an Austin Powers 4 before, saying he would absolutely love to do it. But with nothing in the pipeline, Myers really hasn’t had much of anything to go on. At the same time, even though Shrek 5 is set for a June 1st, 2026 release, Myers wouldn’t fork over any details on that movie, either, saying,...

Jim Abrahams, part of the writing-directing-producing team behind such comedy touchstones as Airplane!, the Naked Gun films, and Police Squad!, died Tuesday at his Santa Monica home. He was 80.
His son, Joseph Abrahams, confirmed the news to our sister site The Hollywood Reporter.
Along with brothers David and Jerry Zucker, Abrahams also was behind laugh-inducing — and often intentionally groan-inducing — comedy films including Top Secret! and the Top Gun spoofs Hot Shots! and Hot Shots! Students of the Mel Brooks School of Anything for a Laugh, the trio paired absurd situations with deadpan lines and fueled Leslie Nielsen’s unlikely rise to leading man after 30 years in the business.
The trio got their big-screen start writing The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977), a series of decidedly un-pc vignettes directed by John Landis that ranged from silly to uproarious to “what the hell?!” and back. Sample: A TV news anchor deadpans from...

Do you look like Twisters and Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell? Are your parents aspiring actors? Well, you could kill two birds with one stone by winning Austin’s Glen Powell lookalike contest, where the actor says whoever takes home the prize could see their parents or a family member cameo in one of his movies. I’m just learning this, but Powell’s parents “frequently show up” in his films, and he wants someone else to have the same experience. I’m not kidding.
Glen Powell couldn’t attend a Glen Powell lookalike contest in Austin, Texas, because he was busy filming Edgar Wright’s version of Stephen King’s The Running Man. Still, his mother and aunt helped judge the competition. How adorable is that? According to Fox 7 Austin, a physician’s assistant, Maxwell Braunstein, won the top prize. Want to know what he won? I hope you’re sitting down.

The legendary Quincy Jones just passed away at the age of 91. And while he’ll be remembered for his work in the music industry, his TV credits and his not giving a fuck in interviews during his golden years, some folks on the internet have also been celebrating his contribution to a pop-culture franchise he had absolutely no hand in creating: Austin Powers.
Mike Myers’ swinging spy character just wouldn’t have been the same without the upbeat theme song that plays during the opening credits of all three movies. If you don’t believe me, try syncing up the beginning of any Austin Powers movie with, say, Nine Inch Nails, and see how shagadelic it is.
The track is called “Soul Bossa Nova,” and it was apparently composed by Jones in less time than it takes to watch an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

It is impossible to overstate Quincy Jones' influence on music and the music business throughout the second half of the 20th century. There wasn't a genre that Jones, who passed away yesterday at the age of 91, couldn't master as a composer, producer, performer, or all three. He kicked off his career playing trumpet for vibraphone god Lionel Hampton, served as trumpeter and music director for Dizzy Gillespie, and produced effervescent pop hits like "It's My Party" for Lesley Gore while expanding his range compositionally via jazz LPs and, perhaps most importantly, film music -- a field where the African-American artist stood out among a sea of white men.
Curiously, there isn't as much serious scholarship on the work of Jones, which is rather astounding considering his seismic 1970s and '80s impact as a producer for Michael Jackson on two of the top-selling LPs of all time ("Off the Wall...

In 2023, Austin Butler came pretty close to nabbing his first Oscar win, thanks to his immaculate portrayal of the King of Rock and Roll. But despite taking the Golden Globe accolade home, the actor ended up losing to Brendan Fraser in the race for Best Action at the 95th Academy Awards. With Dune 2 becoming one of the most acclaimed releases of the year, it seems The Bikeriders might be getting his second shot at the accolade.

The long-gestating second 9-1-1 spinoff may be getting closer to reality. Nothing is locked yet but conversations continue about a new installment of the first-responder drama as spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star is coming to an end.
