Blake Shelton is hitting the road with his Friends & Heroes Tour this year.

The 2025 edition of the tour kicked off on February 27 at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

True to the title of the tour, Blake also brought several friends along for the ride, including Deana Carter, Craig Morgan and Trace Adkins, as well as an opening set from Team Blake alum Emily Ann Roberts from Season 9 of The Voice.

The tour featured Blake performing solo and with his music friends, including original hits and covers of songs from icons like George Strait and Alabama.

As with the other shows in the 911-verse, 911: Nashville hails from 20th Television and Ryan Murphy Television. Murphy, Tim Minear and Rashad Raisani will serve as executive producers and writers; Brad Falchuk and 911 star Angela Bassett are also EPs. Casting and other details will be announced later.

“Lone Star” showrunner Rashad Raisani told TheWrap that he was “desperate” to get the Tarlos series off the ground and hopes that it might still happen. He also explained that one of the reasons he didn’t kill off any of the main characters in the Austin-set series is that he hopes they can show up in ABC’s upcoming “9-1-1” offshoot, which is currently in development.

“9-1-1” moved to ABC for Season 7 and the new spinoff will also be set up at ABC, but Fox was not interested in continuing the franchise.

After some UK collaboration with Return to Paradise and Austin this year, the ABC is taking a homegrown approach to scripted content in 2025, announcing a series adaptation of Australian author Sally Hepworth's 'The Family Next Door' and a new season of 'Mystery Road: Origin' at this afternoon's upfronts.

The legendary Quincy Jones just passed away at the age of 91. And while he’ll be remembered for his work in the music industry, his TV credits and his not giving a fuck in interviews during his golden years, some folks on the internet have also been celebrating his contribution to a pop-culture franchise he had absolutely no hand in creating: Austin Powers.

Mike Myers’ swinging spy character just wouldn’t have been the same without the upbeat theme song that plays during the opening credits of all three movies. If you don’t believe me, try syncing up the beginning of any Austin Powers movie with, say, Nine Inch Nails, and see how shagadelic it is.

The track is called “Soul Bossa Nova,” and it was apparently composed by Jones in less time than it takes to watch an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

The long-gestating second 9-1-1 spinoff may be getting closer to reality. Nothing is locked yet but conversations continue about a new installment of the first-responder drama as spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star is coming to an end.

As Deadline reported last month, unlike 9-1-1, which moved to ABC after six seasons on Fox, Lone Star is not expected to make the same transition after its current fifth and final season on Fox. Instead, 9-1-1 would get another spinoff on ABC in a new location, with Las Vegas among potential cities considered to follow Los Angeles (9-1-1) and Austin (9-1-1: Lone Star).
