Whitney Houston - The Concert for a New South Africa (Durban)

If you want a masterclass in how to sing, watch this. This just exudes Whitney's vocal excellence and pure God-given talent.

The set list is amazing and the way sings each song is awe-inspiring.

For me, the best performances... (they're all great!) It would have to be the "Home", "Jesus Loves me" and "I Have nothing" - it's all amazing, but those three are out-of-this-world. I also, absolutely love how she sings "I wanna dance with somebody", every performance is performed in a way like never before. Along with that powerful voice, singing songs different each time is what Whitney is known for.

I cannot do this review justice with words. This concert really is something else.... and it's a time when she's not at her vocal best, yet she still delivers to an unprecedented standard. It's a MUST see.

Simply AMAZING!!!

She started the show with a blast!! Her so emotional perfomance has now become one of my fav!! The same goes for 'love will save the day' every song she sang was stellar and truly came from her heart!! Her pop songs were killer as always bur the real moment for me was during her 'I have nothing' performance which is truly something else!! The same goes for her performance of ' saving all my love for you' there she truly blew me away!!

She looked amazing, energised, and it was clear that she was happy on stage!! Her voice was on fire, and she interacted with the audience like no other!!

It was truly a splendid experience!!!

It's really a must watch! I loved each and every moment💜,this truly showed why she was named The Voice 😊. I felt each and every emotion from all the performances. I am so proud that people from my country 🇿🇦 were able to experience such magical moment and I am also happy that I also got to experience that even when it was theatrical released. Performances like the greatest love of all and love is really did loved them. I am so glad that they did release this concert because as Whitney fans we have been longing for such concerts to released. We will always love you Whit you really did play your part.

A truly mesmerizing showcase of the greatest vocalist that ever walked this earth. A flawless performance. This particular show in South Africa showed the true beauty of not only Whitney herself, but her heart and also her spirit. An artist that will always be truly missed.

The crowd filled the stadium with such joy and energy, and received the same amount of dedication back from Whitney.

The band, singers, and crew pulled of a truly remarkable performance that will be remembered by generations to come. A physical release of this show would be the cherry on top for Christmas.

Absolutely brilliant. Four costume changes and Whitney looked stunning in every one. She looks immeasurably beautiful throughout and as others have said, she looks relaxed and confident. As for her voice - Wow. A real mixture of the sweet yet soaring tones of 80's Whitney with the maturing power of early 90's Whitney. I stand by my earlier comment of the best IHN rendition I've ever heard. IWALY and GLOA were also amazing. IEW was fantastic too. Loved hearing 'Where You Are' brought back such childhood nostalgia for me when I played the 'Whitney' album to death in my teenage bedroom. For those yet to see it, this concert is a real treat and Whitney looks and sounds fantastic throughout! This is a brilliantly conceived project at the right time.
