The Shield is one of the most overlooked tv shows ever mostly because it wasnt available in HD format until only a few years ago but at its time it rivaled the sopranos and the wire which are considered the peak of tv. I cant speak for the wire but while I do love the sopranos so much. There's no show that has come close to having the intensity and the characters of the shield for me

John reese and harold finch is one of the most iconic TV duos for me and the rest of the cast is also very good. The plot takes a little time to unravel but when it does it takes the show to the next level. Truly amazing and probably my favorite television finale of all time alongside The Shield.

Extremely well done story and setting with fantastic characters. Cant recommend it enough, If you enjoyed FX's previous work with The Shield and SOA this show would be right up your alley.

I only wish it went on for a little longer because It was so good. The acting and the characters in this show are fantastic, the humour and the stories told are incredible. Ray shoesmiths life was a good one to watch.
