Teddy Johnson died on June 6th at Twickenham, London on June 6th, 2018. (sources Obituaries in the Guardian and Telegraph (UK) newspapers, dated 10th June, 2018. He leaves behind him his wife, Pearl Carr, with whom he had several pop hits in the 1950s and 1960s, including 'Sing, Little Birdie, which saw them come second in the Eurovision Song Contest.
