From 1993 to 1998, Jane Seymour and Joe Lando shared the small screen on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, the beloved CBS Western. The sparks were very evidently there — they dated briefly while shooting the pilot — but the two quickly realized they were meant to be lifelong friends and have remained so, through thick and thin, over the years. In 2022, the reunited for the Lifetime movie A Christmas Spark, which became one of the network’s top-rated holiday movies.
Lando, 63, shared his Pacific Palisades home with his wife, three children and daughter-in-law, two dogs (a German Shepherd named Bo and a Border Collie Lab named Rosie) and two parakeets. Like Lando, Seymour, 73, who lives not very far away in Malibu, was evacuated for the fires. She was put up by a family friend in Calabasas with whom she happens to share an ex-husband. “We raised our children together,” she says. “We have been friends since the beginning,...

It’s been a bit since I’ve posted a blog, which hopefully someone out there has noticed. I had to take a brief hiatus from my daily Days viewing to get a real job (temporarily!). But I didn’t completely leave the soap world behind. For the past six week, I served as the production coordinator for a civil war feature filming in middle Tennessee produced by All My Children veteran Alan Dysert (ex-Sean Cudahy) and featuring Dynasty legend John James (ex-Jeff Colby).
Yes, that’s right. Nashville is not just home to the Dimera warehouse in which all the dead bodies of Salems finest and not-so-finest are resurrected when the storyline serves. It is also home to quite a few daytime alums. Melissa Reeves, Scott Reeves, Jonathan Jackson. So it should come as no surprise a movie filming just outside of Nashville would feature not one but two former sudsers.

Night Train is a movie by Shane Stanley in which we can see Diora Baird in a very American thriller. The co-star is Abraham Benrubi.
The plot is about a Hollywood truck driver who avoids being pursued by the FBI. Our dear Diora Baird will piece everything together in this action thriller written by Shane Stanley.
Souped up cars, races and lots of road humor in this production with a very American flavor.
Our Opinion Night Train (2023)
This isn´t going to be the blockbuster of the year. It is a very simple thriller done with just enough resources and which is happy to be a secondary market product.
You can get an idea with this information and a little imagination (without much malice or sarcasm).

Lifetime's conscientious and diverse Christmas films are continuously a gift that keeps on giving.
Not only does the network continue to provide content that reaches its equally diverse audience, making them feel seen during the holiday season, but they also give us a plethora of reunions and collaborations that are too good to be true.

Happy Thursday "Bold And The Beautiful" fans. Today's September 20, 2018 episode featured some pretty interesting and intense scenes as Bill and Ridge continued their big confrontation. Bill made a couple of additional threats to Ridge before Ridge ran back to Katie and Thorne to tell them absolutely everything that went down. They all talked about it and came to the conclusion that Bill should definitely stay away from Will. They also talked about the Will custody court date and who is the judge that will be presiding over the case. Carter told them the judge is judge Craig McMullen, and Ridge was off to the races to go talk to this judge McMullen character. Then when we saw Ridge chatting it up with the judge, we learned that Ridge just happened to be the one that actually paid to put this judge through freaking law school! Judge McMullen was very thankful to Ridge,...

Happy Monday "Bold And The Beautiful" fans. We hope your weekend went ok. Today's September 3, 2018 episode kicked off with the big continuation of Hope's major scene where she was having complications with her unborn child. She called up Liam while he was at Steffy's place to tell him she's been spotting and has to get to the hospital asap. Unfortunately, we still didn't get the answers to what exactly is her problem in today's installment. The producers left us with another cliffhanger. However, before that, we did see Liam make his way to Hope's hospital bedside to support her. Meanwhile, Steffy was seen at Wyatt's place. She told Wyatt and Sally about Hope's recent baby scare. So, they sat around worrying about it in their scenes. Elsewhere, Katie and Thorne were seen taking a very passionate, romantic break from all of these issues with the Will custody battle. Katie made...

Dr. Quinn is back ... but she's in full-on Heisenberg mode now!Jane Seymour and a ton of her former "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" costars just reunited for a hilarious Funny or Die video, showing what would probably happen if the show was rebooted now.Taking some heavy cues from "Breaking Bad," the reimagined series follows the title doc as she deals morphine to everyone in Colorado Springs.Joe Lando (and that hair) makes a very welcome cameo as Byron Sully, as do show regulars like Henry G. Sanders, Jonelle Allen, Orson Bean, Brandon Douglas, Geoffrey Lower and Jason Leland Adams.Check out the parody below:We have to admit, both Seymour and Lando look pretty amazing these days, over 20 years after the show made its TV debut. How have more women of the '90s held up? Dr. Quinn is back! Sort of. Thanks to Funny or Die, we now know what a gritty Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman reboot would like. It's Dr. Quinn meets Breaking Bad. She is the one who knocks. Jane Seymour reprised her Emmy-nominated role for the new video and she was joined by several of her former costars including Joe Lando, Jonelle Allen and Chad Allen. We're getting some serious 1990s nostalgia over here! Dr. Quinn was known for using morphine—hey, it was the mid-1800s after all—so what happens when all the townsfolk become addicts? She slaps on a pair of Walter White-esque glasses and embraces her new drug lord persona, as TV characters are known to do. The original Dr. Quinn,...

Zoe Bell’s made a career kicking ass in the movies. Judging by the premise of her new nature gone amok thriller Freshwater, it sounds like she better be ready to add alligator wrestling to her impressive array of fighting skills.
Zoe Bell (Deathproof, Raze) and Joe Lando (“Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman”, “The Secret Circle”) headline writer-director Brandy Berry’s currently in-production Southern fried creature feature entitled Freshwater. Amy Paffrath, John Bobek, and Alison Haislip co-star.
Synopsis:
Lake Charles in Louisiana is the idyllic spot to catch some sun and enjoy the tranquil miles of freshwater. When a group of 20-somethings meet up at their island lake house for a weekend of partying, one of the friends never shows up. As more lake visitors are yanked underwater by what seems to be some giant alligators, the screams bring the group out of the lake house. Frantically discovering their boat has drifted away,...

The Secret Circle seems to have embraced an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink philosophy to storytelling. Over the show’s 21 episodes, there have been several demon possessions, at least two resurrections (one of which was thanks to a demon possession!), one super-hot hex sex scene, a memory erasure, and a reveal that two of the show’s main characters are half-sisters… and now there’s a crystal skull? As Steven Spielberg and Geoge Lucas learned a while back, no good can come from a crystal skull.
Taking a more-is-more approach is not uncommon these days in TV storytelling — not only for freshman series (hello,...
