Louise studied drama at NIDA (the National Institute for Dramatic Art)
and is best known for playing cocky career criminal Sandy Edwards in
Prisoner: Cell Block H (1979). Whilst working on the series, Louise discovered that she was
pregnant and eventually left to have her daughter, Victoria. Louise
later acted with her daughter when she had a guest role in A Country Practice (1981)
playing a single mother.
