  • Doubled for Elvis Presley in several of his movies, including Kissin' Cousins (1964), in which there was an error in one of the scenes where you can see it's Lance when it's supposed to be Elvis.
  • Last name is pronounced "luh-GOH"... not "Gault" as in "Fault".
  • Is well-known for his portrayals of stern and severe military personnel, especially officers.
  • Can be seen in the "live performance" segments of Elvis' '68 Comeback Special, sitting on the edge of the stage, occasionally playing a tambourine during songs.
  • Lance LeGault was an accomplished pilot, and enjoyed flying his Cessna Skyhawk. He also bred Arabian horses on his ranch.
  • Narrated an audio portion of a tour for Elvis Presley's Graceland Mansion in Memphis, Tennessee. (November 2004)
  • Lived in an orphanage for a time between his father's death when he was four and when his mother remarried.
  • Received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas.
  • Had four children with his wife Theresa LeGault: Mary LeGault, Teresa LeGault, Marcus LeGault and Lance LeGault Jr.
  • Following his death, he was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Hollywood Hills) in Los Angeles, California.
  • Attended and graduated from Chillicothe Township High School in Chillicothe, Illinois (1955).
  • Prior to the A-Team, LeGault was featured on an episode of TJ Hooker playing a character named Decker.
  • Parents are Mary Jean and Ernest Legault.
  • Is not related to Jason LeGault.
