- Doubled for Elvis Presley in several of his movies, including Kissin' Cousins (1964), in which there was an error in one of the scenes where you can see it's Lance when it's supposed to be Elvis.
- Last name is pronounced "luh-GOH"... not "Gault" as in "Fault".
- Is well-known for his portrayals of stern and severe military personnel, especially officers.
- Can be seen in the "live performance" segments of Elvis' '68 Comeback Special, sitting on the edge of the stage, occasionally playing a tambourine during songs.
- Lance LeGault was an accomplished pilot, and enjoyed flying his Cessna Skyhawk. He also bred Arabian horses on his ranch.
