The undercover cop storyline has been around for many years, providing some well-acclaimed entries in the crime film genre. When the central protagonist, a police officer, gets involved with a dangerous group, the rest of the movie becomes an intense experience that leaves the viewers nervous for the hero. However, there are also instances where the undercover cop plot can be used for more comedic effect, as the protagonist could get put in a setting that feels out of place for them.
As seen with some of these movies, the cop protagonist ends up getting in too deep with his assignment, or their true identity comes out and jeopardizes the mission. This leads to all kinds of conflict that increases the intensity to another level. Whether comedic or dramatic, these movies have plenty of unexpected twists and hard-hitting action to keep the viewers engaged. From funny hits like 21 Jump Street...

Roman Pearce underwent the most significant transformation in the Fast & Furious franchise, from potential lead to comedic relief. Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto character has evolved from flawed criminal to hero, but Roman's change stands out the most. 2 Fast 2 Furious showcased the best version of Roman Pearce, adding depth to Brian O'Conner's character dynamic.
The Fast and Furious franchise has had a few changes over the years, however, the character who changed the most is surprisingly not Dominic Toretto. Releasing in 2001 and grossing $207 million worldwide, The Fast and the Furious introduced a world of illegal action-packed street racing starring Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian OConner (Paul Walker). Since then, the racing franchise has released a total of 11 movies, including one spin-off, providing a complex timeline for the Fast and Furious movies and an ever-growing cast list. However, the release of Fast 11 will mark the end of the main series.

Fast and Furious franchise has a high kill count with notable character deaths, from Jesse to Elena, impacting the storyline significantly. Villains like Johnny Tran and Fenix Calderon met their fates against Dom and his crew, facing the consequences of their ruthless actions. The franchise also includes fakeout deaths, like Han and Letty, keeping fans on their toes about the fate of their beloved characters.
While Dom Toretto has survived countless impossible missions, the amount of characters who died in Fast and Furious movies shows the franchise's high kill count. Starting back in 2001, the franchise has grown from a crime story about street racing to a massive international spy series with endless twists and turns as well as outlandish action sequences. As a result, there have been a number of key characters who died in Fast and Furious movies, some who fans will miss and others who they were glad to see go.

The Fast & Furious franchise started out grounded in street racing culture and had a simple approach, which resonated with audiences and led to its success. As the franchise progressed, the films became more over-the-top and unrealistic, with outrageous stunts and extravagant action sequences. While fans have been calling for a return to the franchise's roots, it may be difficult to dial back the absurdity and find a balance between the series' origins and its signature action-packed style.
Since beginning its life in 2001, the Fast & Furious franchise has gone from its roots grounded in the world of street racing to near superhero heights that have certainly walked the line of legitimate realism. Despite how over-the-top things have gotten, the franchise remains a global phenomenon that has grossed $7.3 billion globally to date across ten movies. That's nothing to sneeze at, but there is no denying that there has been a case of diminishing returns,...

Fast & Furious movies thrive on delivering over-the-top spectacle and impossible stunts that audiences find entertaining. The franchise has featured wild stunts like jumping cars, dragging a safe through a city, and even going to space in a car. Each movie challenges itself to top the previous one, with Fast X showcasing Dom driving down a dam to escape an explosion as the most ridiculous stunt yet.
With each new movie in the Fast & Furious franchise, Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto and his crew pull off increasingly impossible and ridiculous maneuvers while driving sports cars. The Fast and the Furious kicked off the series with a relatively down-to-earth story about street racers who hijack trucks on the side. From there, the movies' heist and espionage plots only grew in magnitude to include ongoing battles with gangsters, terrorists, and the law.

21 Savage has unveiled the trailer for his upcoming biopic, titled American Dream: The 21 Savage Story, in which Donald Glover and Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin will both play the rapper. Watch it below.
According to a press release, the clip shows three generations of 21 Savage “in the heat of a personal crisis” while doubling as a music video for a brand new song from the artist.
American Dream will cover 21’s infamous 2018 arrest by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice), which revealed that he was actually born in the UK before moving to Atlanta and making his name there as a rapper.
At the time, 21 Savage’s lawyer said he “never hid his immigration status from the US government.” During an interview with Good Morning America, 21 noted that his arrest came shortly after he criticized Trump’s extreme immigration policies with his song “a lot.”

Fast & Furious franchise is known for bringing back dead characters, but there are a few heroes who have remained dead. Jack Toretto, Dom's father, died in a racing accident and his death should not be undone in the franchise. Jesse, a member of Dom's crew, was killed in a drive-by shooting, while Vince was killed during an ambush. Elena, Dom's love interest, was killed by the villain Cipher.
The Fast & Furious franchise has brought many characters back from the dead, but a handful of its heroes have remained killed off after their demise. The Fast Saga has taken its characters on a wild ride from street racing to the most outlandish adventures possible. The running theme of the Fast & Furious franchise has long been family, with Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) building quite a large family indeed over the course of the Fast Saga's run.

Star Trek: Picard showrunner Terry Matalas has provided an ominous tongue-in-cheek update about Number One, the beloved pet pit bull of Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart). Jean-Luc's beloved pet hasn't been seen since Picard season 1, episode 3, "The End is the Beginning", when he was left in the care of Laris (Orla Brady). Laris herself was last seen promising to meet Jean-Luc on Chaltok IV after he left to rescue Dr. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden) at the start of Picard season 3.
A humorous fan video posted on Twitter by The Scorch suggested that Laris left Jean-Luc at the end of Star Trek: Picard season 3, and took Number One with her. Showrunner Terry Matalas responded to the video with a terrifying revelation that ties Number One to Star Trek: Picard season 3's villains. Read his tweet below:

The Fast and the Furious left several deleted scenes on the cutting room floor that would have completely changed the movie. Despite being a relatively unassuming action movie on the surface, The Fast and the Furious had all the makings of a bona fide pop culture institution, and it was a smash hit upon its release. Kicking off the Fast & Furious franchise, the first movie captured the gritty energy of street racing while also weaving in a compelling story of a cop torn between duty and friendship. Though the series would go far beyond its humble beginnings, The Fast and the Furious got things off on the right foot.

Warning: Spoilers for Star Trek: Picard Season 3, Episode 5 - "Imposters."Commander Ro Laren (Michelle Forbes) dropped a Star Trek: Picard season 3 bombshell that suggests that Admiral Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) may have been replaced by a Changeling. In Picard season 3, episode 5, "Imposters", former Maquis member and fugitive Ro Laren is now a member of Starfleet Intelligence sent to apprehend Jack Crusher (Ed Speelers) and interrogate Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart). Unable to believe that Starfleet Intelligence would hire a former traitor, Picard believes that Ro is actually a Changeling impersonator, rather than his treasonous ex-protégé from the USS Enterprise-d.
In emotional scenes that resolve a 29-year-old Tng cliffhanger, Picard and Ro begin to trust each other again as she reveals the extent of the vast Changeling conspiracy. Ro takes Jean-Luc into her confidence to reveal that the Changelings have infiltrated Starfleet, and she's aware of at least a dozen starships with Changeling impersonators aboard.

Before Fast X races into theaters, NBCUniversal has treated extended members of the Fast family with The Fast and the Furious Legacy Trailer, taking us back to where it all began for Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto and his band of thieves. The slick footage brings us back to the franchise’s start, with The Fast and the Furious, directed by Rob Cohen. In the film that started it all, Los Angeles police officer Brian O’Conner must decide where his loyalty lies when he becomes enamored with the street racing world he has been sent undercover to destroy. The action-packed street racing extravaganza stars a baby-faced Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Rick Yune, Chad Lindberg, Matt Schultze, and more.
The Fast and the Furious Legacy Trailer is, without a doubt, a cog in the hype machine for Fast X, the penultimate chapter of the core Fast and Furious series of films.

The Fast & Furious franchise had, unsurprisingly, quite a few street races. While the bombastic series now includes space travel and parachuting supercars, it began with relatively humble roots. The original The Fast and the Furious centered on illegal street racing in Los Angeles. Despite the franchise expanding into a globetrotting action extravaganza filled with spies and government conspiracy, each film usually takes a moment to return to what it does best: street racing.
While some argue that the Fast Saga is better off without street racing, the director of the first film in the saga – Rob Cohen – was inspired to develop a movie based around illegal street racing after reading an article about street racing in New York. Cohen even went to watch an illegal street race in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, this core of the sprawling franchise has been diluted over time, and the more recent installments have moved...

To say that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester’s (Jensen Ackles) love lives over the 15 seasons of Supernatural were tragic would be an understatement. Relationships crashed and burned just like Winchesters and their loved ones died. So even though one character who was a possible love interest for one of the brothers did end up dying fighting alongside the Winchesters, chances are that would’ve happened anyway, even if she’d had a different backstory, as was apparently possible. Season 2 introduced Sam and Dean to The Roadhouse, Ellen (Samantha Ferris) and Jo Harvelle (Alona Tal), and Ash (Chad Lindberg). And after Jo joined the brothers on a hunt in “No Exit,” the truth about the Harvelles’ history with John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) was revealed. Though John and Jo’s father usually both hunted alone, they teamed up — and, as Jo told Dean after a conversation with her mom,...

Amazon’s Sneaky Pete will return for more scheming and conning for a third season in May.
Sneaky Pete Season 3 is officially coming to Amazon Prime. However, it marks a change, since the series made a coastal crossing from its production home of New York to California, taking advantage of a $9.2 million tax credit (with plans to spend $53 million in qualified expenditures); a substantial gain for a series of this scope.
The California Film Commission announced the Sneaky Pete relocation, revealing the series as the thirteenth to become California-bound in the aftermath of a tax credit, joining notables such as Showtime’s The Affair and Netflix’s The Oa. The move was a major U-Haul task for Sneaky Pete’s nearly 250 cast, 220 crew and 2,510 extras (including stand-ins measured in man-days). While the credit, selected by the amount of jobs the productions will bring, is for 20%, the migrating...

"Take as many of them out as you can." Arrow Films from the UK has debuted the first official trailer for an action thriller titled Security, which seems like a movie straight out of the 90s. Antonio Banderas stars as a special services veteran who is hired to work as a security guard at a shopping mall. Ben Kingsley also co-stars as a "psychopathic hijacker" who goes after a young girl who was going to testify as a witness in a trial. This sounds like another one of those formulaic action movies where they plug in all the usual tropes, including a young girl being chased by criminals, a former military man forced to do regular security work, and a crazy evil guy after all of them. Also starring Liam McIntyre, Chad Lindberg, Gabriella Wright, and Cung Le. This kind of looks like Die Hard in a shopping mall, but nowhere near as good.

After a lengthy investigation, Midnight Rider director Randall Miller, writer-producer Jody Savin and unit production manager/executive producer Jay Sedrish have been charged with involuntary manslaughter and criminal trespass in the death of 27-year-old camera assistant Sarah Jones by Georgia's Wayne Superior Court. If the trio are convicted, Georgia law states that the manslaughter conviction could result in a 10-year prison sentence, although the criminal trespass charge carries a 12-month maximum sentence.
On February 20, Sarah Jones was helping to set up a shot on a Doctortown, Georgia train trestle when she was struck by a train. According to Deadline's investigation, the crew waited for two previous trains to pass, before setting up a shot that required actor William Hurt, who has since left this biopic of music legend Gregg Allman, to lay on a heavy hospital bed situated on the train tracks.
