Tracker is an action drama series created by Ben H. Winters. Based on a 2019 book titled The Never Game by author Jeffrey Deaver, the CBS series follows the story of an extremely skilled survivalist who goes from town to town to find missing people and things to collect rewards for them. Tracker stars Justin Hartley in the lead role with Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany, Eric Graise, and Fiona Rene starring in supporting roles. Cillian Murphy recently had some choice words for his film Red Eye (watch it Here), a Wes Craven-directed thriller that was released back in 2005. But he wasn’t entirely negative. So that got me thinking: Is Red Eye a good film? Or is it more in the so bad it’s good category? I personally saw Red Eye in theaters and have always had a soft spot for it. But if Oppenheimer‘s own Cillian Murphy has an issue with it, maybe it’s worth a second gander. So let’s see whether it’s good, bad, or somewhere in between as we revisit Red Eye in the video embedded above!

Scripted by Carl Ellsworth, who crafted the story with Dan Foos, Red Eye has the following synopsis: In the wake of her grandmother’s funeral, hotel manager Lisa Reisert is waiting to fly back home when she meets charming Jackson Rippner at check-in.

One of the more underrated entries on the filmography of the late, great Wes Craven is his 2005 film Red Eye (watch it Here), which packs a lot of thrills, action, and good acting into its perfectly quick 85 minute running time. So I’m glad to hear that Paramount Home Media Distribution is planning to give Red Eye a 4K Blu-ray release on March 21st, with new special features!

Another horror fan drops me a line on "Nine Dead," starring Melissa Joan, which is moving towards a mid 2009 release date. A trailer is already online at the "Nine Dead," homepage; yet, this feature seems to be taking a line out of the original "Saw," movie play book, with central characters banding together to solve a puzzle and the title, a play on words of the saying, "a cat has nine lives," seems pretty kitschy.

From the trailer, the use of hoods and wooden posts seems to be an attempt by writer Patrick Wehe Mahoney, or director Chris Shadley to play up on the viewer's fear of hostage taking abroad. The horror/thriller helmed by Patrick Lussier sees theatres on January 16th via distributor Lionsgate. Writing are Todd Farmer, Zane Smith based on the screenplay by John Beaird and story by Stephen Miller. Ten years ago, a tragedy changed the town of Harmony forever. Tom Hanniger, an inexperienced coal miner, caused an accident in the tunnels that trapped and killed five men and sent the only survivor, Harry Warden, into a permanent coma. But Harry Warden wanted revenge.
