Biography

Got the part of J. R. Ewing's young trophy wife, Cally Harper Ewing, on Dallas (1978), was she read for the casting director, who was already impressed with it. Her character was only supposed to be a guest-star, for 7 episodes, however, the producers, especially Larry Hagman really liked her the best, and came back to play her role, for the last 3 seasons, replacing veteran actress, Linda Gray.

In high school, she was a member of the marching band and a cheerleader.

Until Larry Hagman's death, she received birthday cards from him, each and every year.

She was actually a Larry Hagman fan, from the beginning, she watched him on I Dream of Jeannie (1965), but not on Dallas (1978), of which she replaced Linda Gray, for the series 12th season.

Devotes part of each summer as a volunteer counselor at the Muscular Dystrophy Association camp in Northern California
