New Kids On The Block front man Jonathan Knight has been working with HGTV on a spin-off of his popular show Farmhouse Fixer. Jonathan has been doing the new project with his family and brother Jordan Knight (who is also his NKotB bandmate). The spin-off, titled Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp, follows Jonathan as he renovates a 12-acre, 10-cabin camp property in New Hampshire.
Summer Camp
Jonathan Knight grew up spending summers at his grandparent’s property on the lake. So this new project has captured his heart. He says that he originally took on the project for nostalgic reasons and wanted to create the same type of experience for other families. Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp has been filled with many dramatic moments. Johnathan has run into many unexpected expenses, from having to redo the septic systems for all ten cabins, to having a tree fall down on one of the cabins.

There are some new spouses on the block. New Kids on the Block's member Jonathan Knight and Harley Rodriguez have tied the knot after more than a decade together. When asked if he and Harley had finally wed during an Aug. 24 interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 53-year-old confirmed it all with a simple, "We did." While the Farmhouse Fixer host didn't reveal exactly when they said "I do," he explained that their official celebration hasn't taken place yet due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Rest assured, Jonathan teased, "It's coming." News of the pair's nuptials comes six years after Jonathan popped the question during a trip to Africa. Back in 2016, while on Jenny...

Jonathan Knight is officially off the market! Et’s Lauren Zima spoke with the New Kids on the Block band member and “Farmhouse Fixer” star on the set of the HGTV series about the show’s second season and getting married to his longtime love, Harley Rodriguez, in secret.
“It is so exciting,” Knight gushed of the series. “I mean, I’ve been trying to get a show on TV for so many years, and actually, HGTV told me we’re not gonna do the celebrity thing, and I was like, ‘Oh.’ And then a few years later, things change, and they’re like, ‘Yes, this is perfect,’ so it’s been great.”

Fresh from his 21-day African adventure, Jonathan Knight has dished to Et about his upcoming wedding and the scary moment he knew he had to propose.
The New Kids on the Block singer had been checking out wedding rings for more than four years, but it was watching his longtime love, fitness trainer Harley Rodriguez, dangle over a death-defying waterfall that prompted the star to finally pop the question.
"We were walking around Victoria Falls, and there's this thing called Devil's Pools," says Knight, who was holidaying in Africa with Rodriguez, their mothers and friends. "It's ridiculous -- you walk to the edge of a waterfall and then it drops straight down and it just didn't make any sense to me, so I didn't do it, but Harley did. In the back of my mind I'm like, 'If he's hanging off a waterfall, I could frickin' lose him! It's time to do it.'"

This season of "The Amazing Race" is just struggling with producing drama. Although yes, two teams have started Legs in first and ended them in last, the more frequent result this season has been teams starting Legs in last and stumbling along for an hour without ever really coming in contact with anybody else and then going home. It happened with Libby & Cj. It happened with Harley & Jonathan. And it happened again in Friday (April 17) night's double-episode that could just as easily have been titled "You Know The First Hour Is a Non-Elimination, But At Least The Scenery Is Beautiful." Indeed, Friday's Namibia episodes were probably "The Amazing Race" at its most beautiful. There were boundless deserts, bounding wildlife and some of the best photography the show has utilized. At no point did I ever feel like Friday's episodes were anything less than gorgeous to gaze upon and thus I...

"The Amazing Race" returned on Friday (April 3) night and while I didn't exactly forget that the Emmy-winning series was back, I realized almost immediately during the pre-credit recap that I barely remembered anything about where we'd left things several weeks back. Bergen & Kurt won the last Leg? How the heck did that happen? Was anybody especially good? Was anybody especially bad? I know CBS had to air the Ncaa Tournament, but "The Amazing Race" isn't a hit anymore and this season has been a wobbly, albeit sometimes amusing, experiment. And pulling a struggling show in a unsteady season is a pretty dismal way to maintain momentum. Fortunately, most of what I was and wasn't liking about the season came back pretty early in Friday's episode, which was funny and entertaining in moments, but also exposed the absolutely worst case scenario for this blind dating season. After a three-week hiatus for the Ncaa basketball tourney, "The Amazing Race" is back this Friday to continue a season that has seen long-term couples pitted against blind date pairings. On the most recent episode (March 13), our savvy users correctly pegged Harley and Jonathan as the most likely to be axed. This long-time couple never recovered from starting the leg in last place. -Break- One of the blind date duo -- Bergen and Kurt -- surprised even themselves by winning that leg. However, according to our predictions, they are unlikely to make it to the mat first again this week. Indeed, we have them as the second likeliest team to be eliminated with odds of 4/1. I guess I can accept that some warm-fuzzies are an acceptable way to compensate for yet another drama-free episode of "The Amazing Race." I wouldn't want to trade emotion and sentiment for tension and excitement very often, but at least Friday's (March 6) "Amazing Race" Leg got something out of what is normally a situation that leaves me frustrated, so... Let's skip to the recap after the break so I can get to spoiling... So Friday's "Amazing Race" episode was a Non-Elimination Leg and it always had the feel of a Non-Elimination Leg, because the process of escaping from Nagano in Japan to Phuket, Thailand proved absurdly difficult and "The Amazing Race" usually doesn't like to send teams home as a result of travel circumstances that are totally unavoidable. "The Amazing Race" returns to Thailand on Friday (March 6) night's episode and it looks like things are going to be getting a little strange. The trailers for the episode have mostly concentrated on the zip-lining and subsequent drama, particularly with blind-daters Hayley & Blair, who are seemingly headed for an epic blow-up. However, it appears that a challenge in Thailand is going to make the pairs take part in a Thai nightclub act of some sort. Normally, I'd think that would be good news for Jonathan & Harley, since what are the New Kids on the Block if not a glorified Thai nightclub act. But this season has already demonstrated Jonathan's insecurity when it comes to choreography. So instead, this may be a chance for Vegas showgirl Jackie and blind-dating partner Jeff to take control? Ooops. Somebody forgot to include the drama in Friday (February 27) night's episode of "The Amazing Race," which was edited with less of an exclamation point and more of an unconcerned shrug. Starting a whopping 29 minutes into the episode, teams started popping up at the Pit Stop and I expected Phil Keoghan to say something like, "Really? We're done?" Instead, Phil was asking people things like, "Is there any romantic connection do you think?" Ladies and gentlemen... Season 26 of "The Amazing Race." There were good moments in Friday's episode, titled "I Got The Smartest Dude," but they didn't add up to anything, because by the time the eliminated team reached the Pit Stop, they'd been in last for the entirely time and they were just smiling and laughing and happy and ready to go home. And if they don't care, why should we? Let's get down to recapping business after the break.

"The Amazing Race" giveth and "The Amazing Race" taketh away. Following a season that saw ratings drop on Fridays, "The Amazing Race" got a special Wednesday showcase after the "Survivor: Worlds Apart" premiere and with both long-running favorites instituting format twists this season, CBS was able to spare 90 minutes apiece for the two launches. Longtime readers know that I'm pretty insistent that you need to have at least a 90-minute premiere for "The Amazing Race," because the effort to establish 11 teams of 22 players while also giving the necessary exposure to navigating around international locations and for various challenges is almost impossible in only 60 minutes. I don't think "The Amazing Race" has ever had an entirely satisfying hour-long premiere. The world is very familiar with Jonathan Knight from his New Kids on the Block fame, but they’re about to get to know his partner of seven years, fitness coach Harley Rodriguez, as the pair travel the world together on this season of The Amazing Race. ETonline recently sat down with the couple to talk about their experience on the hit CBS reality competition show.
ETonline: How did you decide to join the cast?
Jonathan: I've been a fan of the show forever. Actually, I was trying to get on the show for the past four seasons, and it just didn't work out until this year. They called and said we're doing couples this year, and we got to do it so I was pretty excited.
This season some of the cast are couples and some just met. Do you feel like you had an advantage because you've been together for so long?

Emmy winner revs up the sexy with “New Kid on the Block” Jonathan Knight, romantic storylines and a U-Turn in the first leg
Tinder and “The Bachelor” are invading “The Amazing Race.” CBS’s 10-time Emmy winning veteran franchise is making changes.
No parent-children teams, no siblings and no best friends will be lugging backpacks and passports. Instead, the new season is 100 percent dating couples, five of whom are on a blind date during race around the world.
That makes it not just a shotgun start to the race, but a shotgun start to five romances, the “Happy Valentine’s season.
