Cliffhanger, one of two Sylvester Stallone features from 1993 (and one of his most underrated action films ever), will be available to stream in December on Paramount+. The streamer is adding several big titles next month, with Cliffhanger being one of the most exciting titles in the refreshed library.
Cliffhanger is set to be added to Paramount+ on December 1, and fans will be able to enjoy this underrated Stallone epic in all its glory. Known for its big-scale set pieces and its nail-biting opening sequence, the expensive movie ($70 million in 1993 was quite the production budget) made over $255 million at the box office and proved Stallone could still drive ticket sales.

NCIS is one of the most popular TV shows, and for good reason, but there are also many similar shows that deserve the same attention. NCIS has been on the air for over 20 years and has also led to the formation of several NCIS spinoffs. The show has managed to maintain its popularity despite numerous cast changes and character exits, highlighting the success of its formula. Recent NCIS seasons have even revealed the exit of major main characters, demonstrating its ongoing development.
NCIS's popularity over the years can be attributed to its familiarity, routine, and likable characters. However, NCIS is just one of many procedural TV shows that highlight charismatic characters who work together to bring criminals to justice. The niche of NCIS is that it focuses on crimes related to Navy and Marine Corps personnel, and while every show has its own focus, there are a few crime...

Lt. Geordi La Forge's role as a bridge officer in Tng season 1 set the stage for his eventual promotion to Commodore in Star Trek: Picard season 3. Geordi's greatest test as a commander occurs in Tng season 1, where he must defend the Enterprise against an invisible weapon while the senior officers are away. Geordi's successful command of the Enterprise-d in "The Arsenal of Freedom" demonstrates his leadership skills and justifies his eventual rank of Commodore in Star Trek: Picard season 3.
Star Trek: The Next Generation made Lt. Geordi La Forge's (LeVar Burton) eventual promotion to Commodore in Star Trek: Picard season 3 feel inevitable. Before Geordi became Chief Engineer of the USS Enterprise-d, he spent his time as a bridge officer, often manning the helm alongside Lt. Commander Data (Brent Spiner) in Tng season 1. Many of the characters and actors were still trying to find their place in Tng's first season,...

The first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation struggled to define Geordi La Forge's role as Chief Engineer, cycling through multiple characters before promoting Geordi in season 2. The creators of Tng originally envisioned a smaller role for the Chief Engineer, but the larger Galaxy-class USS Enterprise required multiple engineers. They also had difficulty finding a consistent actor for the role. Geordi La Forge evolved as a character in season 2, becoming a full Lieutenant and Chief Engineer. His abilities, such as his Visor, proved useful, and he became an invaluable member of the Enterprise crew.
Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton) is remembered as the Chief Engineer of the USS Enterprise-d, but he did not begin Star Trek: The Next Generation in that position. Following the voyages of the Enterprise-d under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), Star Trek: The Next Generation took a while to find its stride...

This post contains spoilers for the "Star Trek: Picard" series finale.
In the "Star Trek: Voyager" episode titled "Timeless", Chakotay (Robert Beltran) and Harry Kim (Garrett Wang) found themselves lost in an alternate future after the destruction of their ship. It seems that 15 years before, the Voyager was tinkering with something called a quantum slipstream when the experiment went wrong and the entire starship crashed, killing almost everyone. Chakotay and Kim endeavor to steal a time-altering widget that would allow them to restore the past as it was. In stealing said widget, however, they are pursued by a Federation starship. The ship is the U.S.S. Challenger, a Galaxy-class vessel captained by ... look, Trekkies! It's LeVar Burton as Captain Geordi La Forge! He finally got that command that he always -- or at least once -- wanted.

Arkady was back in all his dissembling glory, and that's never a bad thing.
He found himself in trouble yet again on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Episode 9, only for once, it wasn't largely his fault.
Not that he was blameless, mind you. But he could actually be considered something of a victim this time around.
Before examining this latest chapter in the "retirement" of Arkady Kolchak, it's time for a brief scheduling rant.
What was CBS thinking about airing its first new episode in six weeks on the night before the much-ballyhooed NCIS crossover evening? Looking forward to Monday night, viewers were either caught off guard by this episode or missed it altogether.
And that's a shame because Vyto Ruginis's layered portrayal of Arkady is always one of a season's highlights. This visit was no different.
This time out, viewers learned about the one that Arkady forever regretted letting get away.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I think we’d get to 300,” says “NCIS: Los Angeles” star Chris O’Donnell in a video shared exclusively with TheWrap ahead of the CBS drama’s landmark episode, which airs Sunday, May 8.
Co-star LL Cool J, who has played Special Agent Sam Hanna on the military procedural since its 2009 debut, adds with a smile: “I mean, it’s historical, right? It’s rarefied air.”
“The 300th episode is the best version of what we do, comedy and drama, with action,” says Eric Christian Olsen, who plays LAPD Liaison Marty Deeks.
The episode, titled “Work & Family,” sees the NCIS team launch an investigation after two men are blown up by their own explosives while attempting to break into a military base. Richard Gant of “Rocky V” and “Men of a Certain Age” guest stars as Sam’s father, Raymond. Vyto Ruginis, who plays retired Kgb agent Arkady Kolcheck,...

This week on NCIS: Los Angeles, as Callen and Sam raced to Egypt to get a bead on kidnapped colleague Fatima Namazi, they required an assist from Vostanik Sabatino. For loyal viewers of the CBS procedural, the moment was loaded with highly entertaining meaning, given the team’s previous interactions with the CIA officer (played by ER alum Erik Palladino).
The previous episode similarly brought back Bar Paly as the always enigmatic Anna Kolcheck — another reliable player that is intermittently called off of NCIS: La‘s deep, well-established bench.

It was guest-stars-galore night when NCIS: Los Angeles returned for the first time in ages.
Katherine Casillas, Nicole DeChamps, and a familiar Chinese shell corporation all turned up on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 Episode 14.
It made for a fun, bouncy episode, with nothing too heavy weighing down the action.
There was no Hetty sighting, unfortunately, which is the new normal, I'm afraid.
But Nell did perform a Hetty-like act, tossing incriminating evidence into the incinerator, likely on Hetty's orders. So that's something.
Also making an appearance while not being present was Anna.
Callen must have decided that he was in over his head in his belated search for his girlfriend, as they have redefined the concept of "taking a break."
Yes, Callen finally got tired of waiting for Anna to contact him. Plus she's got that real knack for getting into trouble, much like her father, Arkady.
Actually, the best...
