The Thunderbolts*movie is poised to reintroduce a litany of fan-favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe characters. Sebastian Stan returns as Bucky Barnes, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, and Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost. Even Olga Kurylenko will reprise her role as the heavily criticized Taskmaster in an attempt to revitalize the character. The team should be brought together by Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, who is serving as the next Nick Fury for this new era of the MCU. Yet, while many old faces will be reappearing, there is one brand-new character who will be debuting in this movie.

Marvel Studios' next MCU movie, Thunderbolts*, arrives in theaters in less than two months, and promotion is starting to kick up a few gears.
Following a new "A24-style" teaser and some Empire Magazine covers and stills, we have a new banner featuring the team of misfit heroes along with a Mike and Ike tie-in advert.
We're not sure if the promo includes any new footage (there might be one shot of "Bob" and some new dialogue), but we will likely get a final trailer for the movie over the next few weeks when tickets go on sale.
A lot of fans have (understandably) compared Thunderbolts* to DC's Suicide Squad, but director Jake Schreier - who was previously in the running to helm both Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man: Homecoming - believes audiences will be surprised by how different his movie is .

Box office success isn’t just about making money—it’s a measure of how much a movie connects with audiences. Every year, a few films achieve the coveted milestone of crossing the $1 billion mark, proving they have what it takes to dominate the industry. While not every hit film reaches this level, those that do often leave a lasting impact.
A film’s success can be measured in many ways, but let’s be real—box office numbers tell a big part of the story. If a movie rakes in massive cash, it means people are excited to watch it, and the studios are making back their big-budget investments.
While hitting $1 billion isn’t unheard of, it’s still a huge milestone. 2024 saw three major movies—Inside Out 2, Deadpool & Wolverine, and Moana 2—join the billion-dollar club. In the year 2025, several blockbuster releases are poised to follow suit.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is officially headed back to Apple TV+ as the streamer has confirmed that the second season has wrapped up production. A spin-off to the 2014 Godzilla film, Monarch Season 2 will once again follow Anna Sawai and members of the covert organization as they investigate the Titans. However, this time they will be in an exotic new location, the home of everyone's favorite gorilla kaiju from Kong: Skull Island.
Apple TV+ officially announced that filming on Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 2 has concluded, revealing a new image from the big-budget production. As with most Monarch-related incidents, a Titan has surely caused some mayhem in the second season of Legacy of Monsters. The latest reveal coincides with the initial production announcement from a few months ago, featuring a piece of Monarch technology presumably ravaged by monsters on Skull Island. It could be Kong's work, but as fans are well aware of,...

¿Una película de asesinos independiente? © Disney

Marvel had a rough year in 2023. Many of its properties underperformed, and they lost their big villain due to Jonathan Majors being fired. Looking forward to their upcoming slate, comic fans have been excited about some of the studio’s projects over the next few years. Will these films help Marvel regain control? The upcoming Thunderbolts film has been one that fanboys have been hoping to see since the MCU started. With some recent news about the property coming up, it seems like the right time to break down what we know about the production.
Who Are The Thunderbolts?
The team first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1997 in an issue of The Incredible Hulk. They seemed to be a new group of superheroes that had arrived on the scene and gained acclaim very quickly. The reader was informed that the group was actually a group of supervillains led by Baron Zemo.

Captain America: Brave New World has been and gone, and all eyes are now on what Marvel Studios delivers with Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The former arrives in May and a new "Please Silence Your Phones" PSA is currently playing in theaters. Unlike the one used to promote Deadpool & Wolverine, this only features footage from the movie itself but it's almost all new and includes some small reveals.
Chief among them is the fact that the limousine shown in trailers is what Red Guardian is using for his day job as a chauffeur. It also appears as if the team will be the subject of some sort of sonic attack when they arrive in the facility "Bob" (a.k.a. The Sentry) is contained in when the movie begins.
During a recent interview with Empire, Thunderbolts* director Jake Schreier weighed in on the movie being compared to Suicide Squad.

Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars are currently the most highly anticipated films in the MCU. While the plot remains tightly under wraps, one thing is certain—Robert Downey Jr. is making his return to the franchise as Doctor Doom, who is expected to be the main villain of both movies.
Since the announcement of Doomsday and Secret Wars, countless rumors have surfaced online, hinting at over 50 characters set to appear. Some are already established in the MCU, others are alternate variants, and some have yet to make their debut.
As for Avengers: Doomsday, only a handful of characters have been confirmed so far, including the Fantastic Four, Sam Wilson, Peggy Carter, Wyatt Russell, and, of course, Doctor Doom himself.
Meanwhile, Secret Wars is also set to feature the Fantastic Four, but the rest of the rumored lineup—including Ms. Marvel, Ironheart, and Wong—has yet to be officially confirmed.

Move aside, Captain America! The Thunderbolts have assembled.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has made its final play with two strong aces in their deck: Daredevil and the Fantastic Four. With the two fan-favorite IPs rebuilding the MCU’s fallen reputation, a squad of mercenary and expendable anti-heroes called the Thunderbolts take center stage to deliver a Suicide Squad-like story of retribution and pulpy action extravaganza.

However, an ensemble story is hardly ever effective without a core character being sacrificed to motivate the rest of the team midway through the movie. Now, one Thunderbolts* star’s comments about the film have made the fans grow wary about their favorite character’s fate in the final Phase Five movie.

Some new Thunderbolts* stills have been released and they put the spotlight on many of the movie's lead characters. The buzz surrounding this one is extremely positive; whether it translates to all-important box office takings remains to be seen.
There are some great shots of Yelena Belova, Ghost, Taskmaster, and even Bob, a character we know will eventually be revealed as the (villainous?) Sentry.
Even Taskmaster gets her own still; she's been largely absent from trailers for Thunderbolts*, leading to theories the Black Widow villain doesn't make it beyond the movie's first act. That may indeed be the case but there's no denying that she looks pretty badass here.
Bucky, meanwhile, is shown performing his duties as a Congressman and in "Winter Soldier" mode alongside filmmaker Jake Schreier.

Marvel Studios has apparently heard fans' complaints about the most recent slate of MCU movies, as the marketing team for Thunderbolts* have made some against-the-grain moves to promote the McU's next film. In a recent interview, Florence Pugh, who reprises her long-running role as Yelena Belova, piled on to the eccentric marketing campaign by describing the McU's latest as an "A24-feeling" action film.
Speaking to Empire Magazine, Pugh teased how different Thunderbolts* will feel from the rest of the MCU filmography. "It ended up becoming this quite badass indie, A24-feeling assassin movie with Marvel superheroes," the actress revealed. Over the past few years, Marvel fans have criticized MCU movies for all feeling very similar and lacking any distinct voice -- with Martin Scorsese even piling on to the discourse. However, the first full trailer for Thunderbolts* gave fans hope again that the MCU can produce actual "cinema."

The upcoming Marvel Studios film Thunderbolts* is going to feature multiple actors from various previous Marvel films and TV shows reprising their roles. The final push for Marvel Studios' latest ensemble film has entered full force, as Thunderbolts* continues to display some impressive marketing. Creatively edited trailers and references to smaller independent films have helped to make the movie seem like a truly unique entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's vast catalog of movies and television shows. The team-up film centers around a rag-tag group of anti-heroes and characters looking for redemption, and the promotional material shown indicates that it is Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes leading the charge.
In an interview with Empire Magazine, Stan spoke about how it is that Bucky ends up taking characters like Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), the Red Guardian (David Harbour), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Hannah John Kamen), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenk) under his wing. Florence Pugh has described Thunderbolts, the upcoming Marvel film, as having an indie aesthetic reminiscent of an A24 production. Speaking with Empire, Pugh, who reprises her role as Yelena Belova, said the film has a different tone compared to standard Marvel releases.
“It ended up becoming this quite badass indie, A24-feeling assassin movie with Marvel superheroes,” Pugh said. The film, which follows a group of antiheroes on a dangerous mission, is expected to stand apart from previous MCU projects.

The star of the latest Marvel movie, Thunderbolts*, says the film has more of an indie feel than previous efforts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Florence Pugh, who plays Yelena Belova in the new movie, said it felt more like an “assassin” movie than a traditional MCU film.

It makes sense that the Oscar-nominated Pugh would feel that way as Jake Schreier, the director of Thunderbolts*, also directed several episodes of the Netflix series, Beef, which A24 produces. The director was also advised that he should make the movie “something different.”

Florence Pugh thinks the upcoming Marvel film “Thunderbolts*” feels less like a major Hollywood tentpole and more like an arthouse indie.
“It ended up becoming this quite badass indie, A24-feeling assassin movie with Marvel superheroes,” Pugh, who plays Yelena Belova in the film, told Empire.
Pugh’s comments are backed by “Thunderbolts*” marketing, which has recently emphasized its cast and creative team’s ties to A24. A new teaser points out Pugh, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Sebastian Stan’s roles in A24 films “Midsommar,” You Hurt My Feelings” and “A Different Man.”
The teaser also highlighted “the writers and director of ‘Beef,'” “the editor of ‘Minari'” and “the composers of ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once'” among others.
Director Jake Schreier told Variety at Comic-Con last year that “The goal that Kevin [Feige, president of Marvel Studios] set at the beginning was to go in and try to make this different.

Could Marvel be trying to get in on some of that indie popularity? With Sean Baker’s Neon release “Anora” running away with five Oscars last weekend, including the top honor of Best Picture, big Hollywood studios like Disney may want some of its own fare to have that independent touch. Such is the case it seems for its upcoming entry in the MCU, “Thunderbolts,” starring Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Lewis Pullman, Wyatt Russell, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Following the lackluster response to Captain America 4, the MCU is now preparing for its next release in the form of Thunderbolts*. Marketing is now in full-swing for the upcoming team-up movie, with a new trailer recently dropping online. However, the movie has seemingly opted for a strange marketing strategy.

In the latest trailer, the marketing has opted to highlight one aspect of the movie that is commonly seen in trailers for A24 movies. However, a film from the multi-billion dollar MCU choosing the same strategy seems like a desperate move for the franchise. Here is what fans are saying about the latest trailer for Thunderbolts* and why I cannot defend the MCU anymore.

"The Avengers are not coming. Who will keep people safe?" These guys? Doubt it. Marvel has debuted a wacky joke (or not?) trailer for Thunderbolts*, the kooky anti-hero MCU movie kicking off the summer movie season on May 2nd. This whole trailer is a riff on A24's trailers with the same style & title cards. A ragtag group of bad guys is sent on covert missions for the American government. The fun ensemble cast includes David Harbour as Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr / Ghost, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, Lewis Pullman as Bob aka "Sentry", and Florence Pugh as Black Widow Yelena Belova, plus Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, Geraldine Viswanathan as Mel, and finally Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the handler Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. The trailer points out this has: The Green Knight cinematographer Andrew Droz Palermo, Hereditary production designer Grace Yun, Minari editor Harry Yoon,...

Marvel Studios is doing something a bit different with its latest Thunderbolts* trailer: adopting an indie vibe.
In addition to reintroducing the film's ensemble, Thunderbolts*' marketing adopts the look and feel of an A24 trailer, complete with a surreal musical choice and neon colors for text introductions. This trailer not only pays homage to its director and cast's previous A24 projects -- citing Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus' work on Midsommar, A Different Man and You Hurt My Feelings -- but revealed the cinematographer, editor, production designer and composer have all worked on films for the acclaimed independent film company too. This vibe extends to new scenes revealed in the trailer, such as Yelena Belova facing a hallucinatory version of herself and Bucky Barnes punching a man in a chicken suit.
Except newcomer Bob/Sentry (Lewis Pullman), Thunderbolts*' cast hails from both Marvel films and post-Avengers...

The latest preview for “Thunderbolts*” touts the Marvel movie’s connection to another cinematic universe — that of indie film favorite A24.
The new clip ditches Marvel’s traditional sweeping orchestrations and big action setpieces in favor of slick techno music and title cards highlighting that many of the film’s stars, creatives and artisans have previously worked on A24 films.
First revealed by Letterboxd, the “exclusive first look” intercuts shots of Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan and Julia Louis-Dreyfus in their Marvel gear with their A24 acting credits.
The teaser gives the Marvel Studios logo an A24-esque makeover and features stylized cards for “the editor of ‘Minari'” (Harry Yoon) and “the writers and director of ‘Beef'” (director Jake Schreier and co-writers Lee Sung Jin and Joanna Calo). “The Green Knight” cinematographer Andrew Droz Palermo and “Hereditary” production designer Grace Yun also get a shoutout, with “Everything Everywhere All At Once...

As the franchise builds its way up to the multiversal double whammy of Avengers: Secret Wars and Doomsday, 2025 is set to be a year of returns for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Charlie Cox's Man Without Fear returns to his old stomping grounds in Daredevil: Born Again. Thunderbolts* serves as a reunion for a host of forgotten MCU characters, such as Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Task Master (Olga Kurylenko) and US Agent (Wyatt Russell). The newest franchise tentpole, Captain America: Brave New World, saw the return of some of the McU's oldest outstanding plot threads in the form ofLiv Tyler's Betty Ross and Tim Blake Nelson's green-tinged Leader.

In the trailer exclusive to Letterboxd, the 65-second spot highlights the behind-the-scenes creative team’s credentials across some of the decades most successful indie films, from “Minari” to “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” In other words, the Marvel film began marketing itself as an A24 movie.

Gotta be honest with you: the Marvel fatigue is real. But this new Thunderbolts* trailer? It got me, folks. Against all odds and expectations, it's impressed me enough that I might actually go see a Marvel movie in theaters again. (Which is something I haven't done in years and years.) And given the truly, mind-bogglingly cool creative team they've assembled — an Avengers-style team-up to resuscitate the long-stagnant movie arm of the comic book behemoth, perhaps? — it's no wonder they debuted it with the folks over at Letterboxd, everyone's favorite public movie diary for cinephiles.

In 2012, the world was not only introduced to the Avengers of the Marvel Cinematic Universe but also their headquarters. The Manhattan high rise, once known as Stark Tower, was thereafter referred to as Avengers Tower. By the end of "Avengers: Age of Ultron," however, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) had retrofitted one of his company's warehouses into the compound that housed Earth's Mightiest Heroes on through to "Avengers: Endgame." But what happened to the Avengers' original base after it was shuttered?

Marvel Studios and Letterboxd have released a new minute-long trailer for Thunderbolts*, and it highlights the incredible indie talent who have boarded the movie in behind the scenes roles.
There's also heaps of never-before-seen footage from the next MCU movie, including Yelena Belova coming face-to-face with herself, Bob's feet starting to float above the ground, and Bucky punching a guy...in a chicken costume?!
Unless Marvel Studios is majorly misleading us with Thunderbolts*'s marketing campaign, this looks like unlike anything we've seen from them before. There's a risk the studio will deliver the expected third act VFX-heavy battle when The Sentry comes into play, but even that stands a chance of surprising us.

There have been rumblings for several months that CIA Director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine is the new owner of Avengers Tower. The building was sold way back in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming, though Marvel Studios has waited until Thunderbolts* to reveal who bought it from Tony Stark.
The latest Thunderbolts* trailer confirmed that Val owns the building and that she's making some changes to it, adding a structure with a striking similarity to The Sentry's Watchtower on top.
Talking to Empire Online, filmmaker Jake Schreier confirmed Avengers Tower has now been renamed the "Watchtower" and teased, "We know what that tower means. Who’s the person you would least like to own that tower, that means so much to so many people? Can you use that as a symbol of things taking a darker turn?"
Part of that darker turn with be Val's man-made superhero The Sentry unleashing hell on New York City as The Void.

Across the MCU so far, Avengers Tower has been a beacon of hope in New York – the home of Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and co, keeping a watchful eye on the city, ready to protect its citizens from danger. It was the scene of that epic Loki-Hulk smackdown in Avengers, hosted a rockin’ party in Avengers: Age Of Ultron (until the titular AI gatecrashed and killed the vibe), and was the location for a pivotal time-heist moment in Avengers: Endgame. But in the wake of Tony Stark’s death, and with no Avengers line-up to speak of, it isn’t Avengers Tower any more. In Thunderbolts*, it has new ownership.

Marvel’s next big hit, Thunderbolts*, is set to hit theaters on the first weekend of May 2025, kicking off the summer movie season. Unlike the Avengers, this team isn’t full of heavy hitters. Instead, it’s a group of misfits—assassins, anti-heroes, and villains—brought together by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine for a risky mission. Directed by Jake Schreier, the movie promises a unique feel, blending Marvel action with an indie edge.
Schreier, known for the indie hit Robot & Frank and Netflix’s Beef, was told by Marvel to “make it something different,” he said. The result? A film that stands apart from other MCU projects.
Florence Pugh, who returns as the Black Widow-trained assassin Yelena Belova, describes it simply: “It ended up becoming this quite badass indie, A24-feeling assassin movie with Marvel superheroes.”

Thunderbolts* promises climactic events that will cause a shift in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it concludes Phase Five. While the film's previews suggest the eponymous group won't be playing around in their quest for redemption, director Jake Schreier admits the superhero blockbuster took inspiration from an unlikely source in the iconic Pixar film, Toy Story 3.
Speaking with Empire, Schreier revealed how much Toy Story 3 inspired some of the sequences in Thunderbolts*. According to the music video director-turned-filmmaker, the character dynamics in Thunderbolts* mirror those of the key players in Toy Story 3, given that the group of antiheroes is thrown together for an important cause.

It isn't long now until Marvel's Thunderbolts* makes its way to movie theaters. The next installment from Marvel Studios' juggernaut Marvel Cinematic Universe will unite some of the franchise's most recognizable supporting characters in a project that will finally place some long overdue spotlight on them. And from what we can tell, it's shaping up to be a whole lot of fun.
The star-studded cast features MCU regulars Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan, alongside some of the more intriguing recent additions to the franchise, including the characters played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Wyatt Russell, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Olga Kurylenko - all of whom have at least one relatively recent MCU appearance to their name. Thunderbolts*: Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova Watches Over Lewis Pullman's "Useless" Bob In New Still
On the one hand, Thunderbolts* looks set to be a pretty direct follow-up to Black Widow and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (those projects and this movie share many of the same characters).
While we expect it to have a lot in common with those, filmmaker Jake Schreier tells Empire Online that when he boarded Thunderbolts*, it came with a very clear directive from Marvel Studios brass: "'Make it something different.'"
So, rather than being a movie boasting the same tone as those grounded titles, it will be its own beast. As Yelena Belova actor Florence Pugh tells the site, "It ended up becoming this quite badass indie, A24-feeling assassin movie with Marvel superheroes."
Schreier acknowledges that, adding: "There’s a certain amount of that Beef tone in it, that does feel different. There’s an emotional darkness that we brought to this that is resonant, but...

Among the highly anticipated summer blockbusters of 2025 is a particularly unconventional team-up within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Thunderbolts*, which is set to come out in May, is Marvel Studios' newest ensemble, featuring a rag-tag group of characters made up of former antagonists from earlier projects. With the likes of Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), the Red Guardian (David Harbour), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Ghost (Hannah John Kamen), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenk), the unexpected group also had some surprising influences, particularly from one remarkable Pixar movie.

Even when facing the worst dangers in the universe, the Avengers were always a hopeful force – do-gooders who could do this all day. But one thing’s for sure: the Thunderbolts aren’t the Avengers. The next film in the MCU assembles a brand new team-up, not of primary-coloured superheroes, but of misfits and misanthropes. There’s Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, a Black Widow assassin with a sarcastic streak; Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, formerly a Russian cyborg sleeper agent; Wyatt Russell’s disgraced anti-Cap, John Walker; Hannah John-Kamen’s phase-shifting foe Ghost; David Harbour’s Soviet soldier Red Guardian; the move-mirroring Taskmaster. Oh, and Lewis Pullman’s mysterious wildcard, ‘Bob’. Ideally, they’re not the crew you’d pick to save the world.

Thunderbolts* arrives in theaters less than two months from now and Empire Magazine has shared two new covers assembling the members of Marvel Studios' newest superhero team.
The first is a pretty standard promotional shot of the Thunderbolts which, despite her absence from the trailers, puts Taskmaster front and centre. The Sentry is in "Bob" mode here, presumably meaning his superhero costume will remain under wraps despite that recent leak.
Empire's subscriber-only cover pays homage to comic book corner boxes and was illustrated by Marvel Comics artist Mark Brooks.
We'd imagine new stills and interviews are incoming, while a trailer is likely also on the way. Marvel Studios has pulled out all the stops to build awareness for Thunderbolts*, including a splashy Super Bowl TV spot. Superman and The Fantastic Four: First Steps will surely be next to get their own Empire covers.
Back to Thunderbolts* and early buzz for the movie is extremely positive.

The powers that be have assembled various teams across the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We’ve had the Avengers, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes; then intergalactic ‘a-holes’, the Guardians Of The Galaxy; see also, the god-like Eternals. But there’s never been a superhero team-up like the Thunderbolts. In part because they’re not exactly heroes, consisting of grey-area allies at best (Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes), and borderline-villains at worst. But also because they’re not exactly ‘super’ either, with barely a special power between them. So, what happens when a motley crew of not-super not-heroes is tasked with saving the world?
The new issue of Empire goes on set of Marvel’s Thunderbolts* in search of answers, speaking to the starry cast – including Pugh, Stan, John-Kamen and Russell, plus David Harbour and Lewis Pullman – and director Jake Schreier about creating the unlikeliest team-up this side of the multiverse.

Walker, Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, Bucky Barnes, and Sentry, who will be portrayed by Wyatt Russell, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Sebastian Stan, and Lewis Pullman, respectively, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. The Sentry costume shown in the Pop! figure is fairly comics-accurate, although way more stylized, a design decision that some comic book fans have openly spoken out against during suit reveals for past MCU projects. This year’s MCU outing, Thunderbolts*, has surprisingly kept several major elements pretty close to the chest, including what the newest superhero will look like. Now, a leak has seemingly revealed our first look at the character, who is expected to play a major part in the world of Marvel going forward.
The character in question is Bob, Aka Sentry, who will be both the hero and villain in Thunderbolts*. Played by Top Gun: Maverick star Lewis Pullman, Sentry was created by Paul Jenkins alongside artist Jae Lee for "The Sentry" #1 back in 2000. Often likened to Marvel’s Superman, Sentry comes with a series dark side, harboring two very different personalities inside his head. One is the benevolent superhero Sentry and the other is the hostile supervillain, Void.

Uh-oh. It would seem that we're getting a sneak peek, that maybe we shouldn't be, of a big reveal ahead of the Thunderbolts* release in May. The new team features some old faces including James "Bucky" Buchanan Barnes (Sebastian Stan), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), and Red Guardian (David Harbour), all of whom are getting Funko Pops! ahead of the movie's release. Also included in the drop is Sentry, which may or may not be a huge spoiler for the movie. As speculated, the character Sentry looks to be the villain and we're also getting a look at his suit in Funko Pop form. Fans have long since speculated that Sentry will be played by Lewis Pullman (Top Gun 2), who has gone by Bob in the trailers so far.

Thunderbolts* is currently one of the most anticipated MCU movies, based on the Marvel Comics team of the same name. It is set to be the 36th movie in the MCU and will be released in theaters on May 2, 2025, as the final film of Phase Five.
The movie is directed by Jake Schreier, with a script written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo.
The film follows a group of antiheroes who are caught in a deadly trap by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine and must work together on a dangerous mission. The team’s journey will test their abilities and might even offer them a chance at redemption if they can unite and complete the task ahead.
The cast features an ensemble of talented actors, including Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Pierce, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The Super Bowl trailer for Thunderbolts* established The Void as the movie's big bad and offered only a glimpse at his "heroic" side, The Sentry. Their comic book history is complicated but all signs point to Bob embracing his darker impulses courtesy of a push from Valentina Allegra de Fontaine.
Marvel Studios has been keeping The Sentry's costume under wraps, though the movie's IMAX sneak peek at least confirmed he'll don the classic yellow and blue design (though the former colour looks a little more gold here).
Thanks to a new Funko Pop, we finally have a full look at Lewis Pullman's Sentry and his comic-accurate costume. As expected, the "S" logo - first spotted in one of Thunderbolts*'s earlier trailers - is a tad overdesigned but the McU's take on this complicated character otherwise looks like he's stepped straight off the page.
These Pops reportedly go on sale tomorrow,...

Goldie Hawn graced this year’s Oscars event with her alluring presence—dressed in a butter yellow gown, a stunning necklace, and a gold shawl to complete the look—and, of course, with her long-time partner Kurt Russell in her arms. The pair attended the program with all smiles as they posed for the cameras.

They had been together for over four decades, becoming one of Hollywood’s longest-lasting romances ever. Their first meeting was actually in 1966, but there wasn’t an immediate spark. They reunited in 1983 to film Jonathan Demme’s Swing Shift, and, as fate would have it, started officially dating the following year.

Seeing Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell at the 2025 Oscars immediately turned heads as both of them stunned the crowd not only with their elegant fashion but also their sweet chemistry.
