Evil recently wrapped up its run after four seasons, disappointing fans who felt there was still a lot of potential to keep going with the series. Though the show has ended, its fan base continues to grow as more viewers find the series on streaming, but the downside may be that these fans didn't discover the series quickly enough to save it.

Series creators Michelle King and Robert King spoke about Evil during an interview with Screen Rant at New York Comic Con. While Michelle is thrilled that appreciation for the series continues to grow, Robert admitted that it's a bit disappointing that this surge in popularity couldn't have happened just one year earlier. He went on to suggest that it's probably too late at this point for the increased popularity to get the series a renewal, but at the same time, Robert noted that a revival wouldn't be impossible.

Producer Gary Goetzman reveals plans for a sequel to The Polar Express. The Polar Express 2 is not a rushed project and there are still details to be worked out. A sequel to the Christmas favorite The Polar Express gets a promising update from producer Gary Goetzman, who says the studio wants “another one.” In a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Goetzman revealed that they are now working out how to bring The Polar Express 2 to screens, with studios wanting sequels to several other projects, including Where the Wild Things Are and Mamma Mia.

John Stamos is speaking out after his friend, and former Full House co-star was excluded from the Tony Awards 2022's memorial tribute.

The awards show took place Sunday, June 12, at New York City's Radio City Musical Hall.

Stamos took to social media to express his disappointment over his late friend's exclusion from the event.

“Disappointed to hear that @bobsaget will be Left Out of the In Memoriam segment tonight @TheTonyawards,” Stamos tweeted on Sunday.

“Bob was brilliant in The Drowsy Chaperone & Hand to God. Come on @BroadwayLeague and @TheWing!"

Sunday’s SAG Awards ceremony will return to its normal two-hour live format on TNT and TBS. One of the highlights each year is the special In Memoriam segment. It’s been a particularly rough year with over 100 deaths of prominent actors and actresses who were likely members of SAG/AFTRA. Show producers typically are able to include approximately 40-50 people in a tribute. The 2021 segment saluted 55 people because they had responsibility for 14 months instead of 12.

Among that group will certainly be previous SAG president Ed Asner, who was also a life achievement award recipient. That honorary award was also presented to Sidney Poitier and Betty White, who both died this past year.

Tom Hanks appeared on last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his new film Finch, but took the occasion to offer a poignant remembrance of his great friend and Bosom Buddies co-star Peter Scolari, who died of cancer on Oct. 22.

“I don’t know how many people truly do change your lives when you cross paths with them,” said Hanks, recalling his first encounter with Scolari on the Bosom Buddies set. “We met, picked up the scripts, and started screwing around. I actually thought, ‘This is it. This is how this works. This is like a hand inside a glove.’”

Hanks then went on to describe the next two years “at Paramount Studios on unlucky Stage 25” where the two young actors delighted in improvising during dress rehearsals, much to the consternation of directors trying to block the scenes and figure out camera angles. Peter Scolari, the beloved actor who rose to fame starring with Tom Hanks in Bosom Buddies has died.

He was 66 years old.

Scolari died on Friday after a two-year battle with cancer, Variety has reported.

In addition to Bosom Buddies, Scolari also starred in Girls with Lena Dunham.

Playing Tad Horvath, Hannah's father, scored him an Emmy nomination and win for Guest Actor in a Comedy.

It wasn't an easy road to that deserved award, as he was only added to the Emmy Nominations List after Peter MacNicol was disqualified for appearing in too many episodes.

Scolari was also a featured member of the great ensemble cast on Newhart, where he starred as Michael Harris.

He joined Newhart in 1984 after guest-starring twice during the beginning of the series.

That role landed Scolari three Emmy nominations from 1987-1989.
