Barbara Slade is an American TV writer, creator and show runner who now lives in London, yet travels extensively, writing and developing shows for the international market. Barbara is an award winning writer and creator of Children's TV (Rugrats, Dead Gorgeous) however now works in TV Drama, developing shows and heading up writing teams for production companies and channels. Some of her credits include the award winning prime time comedy series 'Side by Side', (NRK Comedy Channel) now in it's eighth season, 'Best For' (SeeFood TV/TV2) now on season three, and a new edgy comedy drama series 'Grind' (Fox Cub Films) currently in development.
Barbara is currently working on two original comedy-dramas. "Heaven is a Perfect Tomato" (Red Eye TV/Newen) and "A Drop of DNA" currently being pitched.
