Several names are in the running to play Elvis Presley in an upcoming Warner Bros. movie, and a final decision will reportedly be made by next week. Director Baz Luhrmann (The Great Gatsby) filmed a group of actors for the part recently to screen each one's potential ability to play Elvis. While it isn't clear how many names overall were tested, there were four standout names who seem to be among the top candidates for the casting. According to a new report, the names being considered include Ansel Elgort, Austin Butler, Miles Teller, and Harry Styles.
Ansel Elgort is perhaps best known for co-starring with Shailene Woodley in the romantic drama The Fault in Our Stars and as the titular character in Baby Driver. Butler just recently hit the big screen in the zombie comedy movie The Dead Don't Die and will next be seen in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
