Danny Tamberelli, who starred in Nickelodeon’s The Adventures of Pete & Pete, paid tribute to his co-star Michelle Trachtenberg after news of her death.
In an emotional tribute, Tamberelli remembered working with Trachtenberg on the set of the television series.
“We grew up learning how to make people laugh together. More importantly, we learned to make each other laugh and pull pranks on everyone,” Tamberelli wrote on Instagram. “We were doing improv when it was still called playing pretend to get laughs. She was a master of the clothespin game, tagging any and everyone she could.”
He continued, “She once got upset when I got my 1st bass on set because I wouldn’t hang out during lunch. She hid the cable so I couldn’t play through the amp. I got the message. She was a bright light, firecracker and caring person who spent a lot of time...

This follows a liver transplant the actor received, along with several Instagram posts which had alarmed some friends and fans, with the images portraying an extremely gaunt Trachtenberg. As The New York Post writes, "Trachtenberg was found by her mother at around 8 a.m. Wednesday at One Columbus Place, a 51-story luxury apartment complex in Manhattan’s Central Park South neighborhood, the sources said [...] The NYPD confirmed Trachtenberg was found 'unconscious and unresponsive' by police and pronounced dead by Ems workers."

Okay, we know that Cannes is the big thing at the moment and that everyone’s waiting for the premiere of Furiosa next week, but if you don’t know what to do in between, we might just have a very interesting proposal for all of you horror fans out there. The queer psychological horror I Saw the TV Glow was quietly released in theaters last Friday, after having its premiere at Sundance in January and after its limited release on May 3. Distributed by A24, the movie might not become a box office record-breaker, but it seems that the critics love it, and that might motivate people to go see the movie.

Amanda Bynes had a prolific career on Nickelodeon in the late 90s, appearing in shows like Figure It Out and Rugrats. Despite notable roles in films like What A Girl Wants, her last appearance was in Easy A in 2010, portraying a Christian antagonist. Bynes showed her versatility by voice acting in animated films like Robots and taking on a comedic role in Hairspray as Penny Lou Pingleton.
As a child actor in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Amanda Bynes was among the most recognizable and popular actors in the world. Bynes only has 20 official credits to her name, but some of those credits account for more than 100 episodes of television. In the early days of her career, Bynes got her big break thanks to Nickelodeon, so she's likely recognizable to those who came of age around the turn of the century for her prolific work for the network, including commercials and award show appearances.

As for “Water Underground,” Martin Courtney of Real Estate said that the single is a song about writing songs. “I think ‘Water Underground’ is like the unconscious, the mysterious part of your brain where creativity comes from,” he said in a press release.

The writers and director behind Good Burger 2 express their enthusiasm for the return of the original cast and their involvement as producers. The sequel will feature familiar faces and hidden Easter eggs for fans of the original, as well as several surprising cameos. Good Burger 2 will maintain the dorky humor and slapstick comedy of the original while adding more choreographed stunts and new jokes.
Writers Heath Seifert, Kevin Kopelow, and director Phil Traill sat down in an interview to discuss the upcoming comedy sequel, Good Burger 2 while appearing at New York Comic Con 2023. A sequel to the 1997 comedy Good Burger, the film follows the return of Dexter Reed (Kenan Thompson) to the fast food restaurant Good Burger with his quirky best friend Ed (Kel Mitchell) and other employees after a failed invention crushes him financially. Shar Jackson, Josh Server, Alex R. Hibbert, Carmen Electra, and Lori Beth Denberg star in the film.

26 years after the original cult classic comedy Good Burger, Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are getting the band back together for its eagerly anticipated sequel, Good Burger 2. Directed by Phil Traill and co-written by original movie screenwriters Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, the sequel has Thompson's Dexter reunite with perennially cheerful Good Burger employee Ed to take on the villainous MegaCorp. The film, dedicated in honor of the late Coolio, Abe Vigoda, and Ron Lester, heightens the fast food mayhem as the Good Burger employees face an even more sinister corporation in an all-out fast-food battle.
In an exclusive interview with Cbr at New York Comic-Con 2023, Good Burger 2 director and executive producer Phil Traill and screenwriters and executive producers Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert shared the lengths the production went to recapture and elevate the world of the 1997 original film, revealed how it felt reuniting with the Good Burger cast,...

In the 1990s, Nickelodeon created a sketch comedy show called "All That," an absurdist half-hour that was the kid's answer to "Saturday Night Live." The series ran for 10 seasons and served as the launchpad for performers like Nick Cannon, Amanda Bynes, Josh Server, Katrina Johnson, Lori Beth Denberg, Danny Tamberelli, Kel Mitchell, and the longest-reigning "SNL" cast member in history, Kenan Thompson. Like the adult series, "All That" birthed a handful of sketches that would get their own spin-offs, none more famous than "Good Burger."
Kenan and Kel starred as Dexter and Ed, getting into hijinks while working at a fast food joint that fans loved so much, they got their own movie. Now, over 25 years later, the classic combo is back with "Good Burger 2." Paramount+ and Nickelodeon Studios released a teaser trailer today, opening with Dexter hit by a car being driven by Ed, one that he's converted into a burger mobile.

Amanda Bynes will make a public appearance when she reunites with her All That costars at an upcoming convention. All That was a Saturday Night Live-esque sketch show for kids when it first came out in 1994. With wacky characters and situations, performed predominantly by teenagers, and aimed at kids and teens, the show was a hit for Nickelodeon and launched the careers of several stars. A newcomer at the time, Bynes made her debut on All That in 1996 when she was only 10 years old. The actress continued to reoccur in the series until 2002.
Bynes will rejoin her former All That castmates in a March convention, according to Variety. This will be at the 90’s Con celebration, which will be held from March 17-19 in Hartford, Connecticut. In addition to Bynes, All That stars in attendance will include Lori Beth Denberg, Danny Tamberelli, and Kel Mitchell.

A24 and Fruit Tree Productions have added several new cast members for the upcoming thriller with the intriguing title of "I Saw the TV Glow." This project comes to us from writer and producer Jane Schoenbrun. If "Poltergeist" and "The Ring" made you fear your television and VHS player, you're going to find the synopsis intriguing. That goes double if you love horror television.
The cast isn't just populated with actors, but a bunch of musicians as well, including Fred Durst, indie artist Lindsey Jordan from Snail Mail, the band King Woman, and more.
If Fruit Tree Productions sounds familiar, it's the banner started by Academy Award-winner Emma Stone and Emmy-nominated writer-director Dave McCary in 2020.
The film has wrapped production already, though there has been no release date announcement yet. We'll keep you updated as that information becomes available.

A stylish twist on the end-of-high-school dramedy, Tyler Taormina’s “Ham on Rye” offers the ethereal echoes of “The Virgin Suicides” with the gossamer veil of a humid summer’s day slowly lifting, but laced with notes of John Hughes on a steady micro-dose of LSD.
