“Severance” Season 2 ended on yet another cliffhanger and there might be a long wait before clocking back in at Lumon.
The show is being heralded as one of the best shows of the decade already, and with good reason. Something that good is bound to leave a big hole of what to binge next in anyone’s life. Luckily, there are plenty of TV gems that are somehow still woefully under-watched.
Below, check out a number of shows, from “The Leftovers” to “Station Eleven” that might make the wait for more “Severance” just a little easier.
HBO The Leftovers
There are already a lot of people calling “Severance” one of the best shows of the 2020s, and the people that know, know “The Leftovers” was the best show of the 2010s. The series explores the emotional apocalypse of people left in the wake of a phenomenon called The Sudden Departure,...

If you find yourself laughing out loud while watching the new sports comedy Running Point, you're not alone. The Netflix hit is "a return to traditional comedy," showrunner-producer David Stassen tells Gold Derby, and it also provides viewers with that "big feel" they've been "craving."
Cocreated by Stassen, Elaine Ko, Mindy Kaling, and Ike Barinholtz, Running Point stars Kate Hudson as Isla Gordon, a former party girl who becomes the president of the Los Angeles Waves basketball team. The family-owned business includes older brother Cam (Justin Theroux), middle brother Ness (Scott MacArthur), and younger brother Sandy (Drew Tarver), plus surprise half-brother Jackie (Fabrizio Guido).
The 10-episode first season of Running Point dropped Feb. 27 on Netflix, and it was picked up for Season 2 days later. The series is eligible at the 2025 Emmys in the comedy categories.
Here is our full interview with Stassen, which includes spoilers for the full Season 1.

Disney live-action remakes have had a difficult reputation thus far. Audiences have been mostly negative towards many of these films as they usually don't offer any new or innovative storytelling outside the visual technology they're able to arguably improve upon, although many say these movies don't look much better than the originals in the first place.
However, quite a few of these live-action remakes do provide new and exciting experiences for their audiences. With both Snow White and Lilo & Stitch getting the live-action treatment this year, audiences are looking back at the best live-action films Disney has to offer, according to Rotten Tomatoes.

For the past three decades, Disney has been steadily transforming its library of classic animated movies into live-action features. So it was inevitable that Snow White would join the ranks of the remakes, to be followed by Lilo & Stitch this summer, and Moana next year. There are five other animated remakes currently in development, and at some point, Disney’s going to run out of movies to make twice!
To mark Snow White’s arrival in theaters on Friday, we’ve ranked every Disney live-action remake. There are some caveats, however. This list is limited to the actual remakes, rather than prequels, spinoffs, and sequels. The so-called live-action Lion King is also excluded, since it wasn’t live-action at all. It was just made with some very realistic CGI, and it belongs among animated films rather than in this roundup of live-action Disney remakes. With that in the mind, here...

Fire up the Plymouth Barracuda and brace the bullshit detector — Charlie Cale is back on the case! Yes, after making a storming debut in Season 1 of Rian Johnson's Columbo-esque, case-of-the-week murder-mystery series Poker Face back in 2023, Natasha Lyonne's human lie detector is readying her return in what's shaping up to be an all-star Season 2. As the newly released teaser for the series ahead shows us, Johnson is pulling out all the stops with the murderer's row — or victims' parade — on the block this time around. Check it out below;
Does this new teaser spoil anything about the new series? No. Does it actually tell us anything about any of the cases Cale will be facing this time out? Also no. Is it essentially a braggadocious run through of the top names on the Season 2 call sheet? Abso-damn-lutely. But what a set of names! Cynthia Erivo! John Mulaney! Katie Holmes!

Kate Hudson is a certified rom-com queen. She has a long list of successful and beloved films but has now switched to television with a new comedy series, Running Point.
The Netflix original series premiered on the platform on Feb. 27, and since then, it has become a major hit. It debuted strongly in the charts in its first week and received positive reviews from both critics and the audience. Per Tudum, the sports comedy series continues to be popular, and it has thrown its shot and managed to make it to the first spot.
In its first week, Kate Hudson's Running Point debuted in third place with 9.3 million views and 47.2 million hours viewed. It was just behind Robert De Niro's limited series Zero Day and the docuseries American Murder: Gabby Petito. However, it quickly started to gain terrain.
In its second week on the platform, Running Point added even more views.

“Running Point” wraps up its first season by pushing forward the love triangle that has been running through the mind of Kate Hudson’s Isla Gordon all season.
After a season full of tension building between Isla and Waves coach Jay Brown (Jay Ellis), distance grows between Isla and her fiancé, Lev (Max Greenfield), who calls off their engagement in the penultimate episode. By the finale, Jay kisses Isla after the big game, despite preparing to leave the Waves to be closer to his kids in Boston.
“She loves Lev and she has been in it for a long time, and maybe there is a bit of a reason why they have waited so long to pull the trigger and get married, but she really loves him, and he’s very stable,” Ike Barinholtz, who created the show alongside Mindy Kaling and David Stassen,...

Netflix’s new hit series Running Point, co-created by Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen, may initially seem like just a lighthearted comedy, but in actuality, it's loosely based on a true and compelling story. Yet, the reality of it doesn't make the series any less amusing. Running Point follows Isla Gordon (Kate Hudson), the oldest daughter of a prominent basketball family that owns the storied Los Angeles Waves. When her older brother, Cam (Justin Theroux), is forced to step down as president of the team to enter rehab, he unexpectedly taps Isla to take over the Waves. As she navigates her new role, Isla must face obstacles like sexism, sibling rivalries, and the chaotic world of professional basketball. Both her professional and personal life become challenges for her as she must quickly learn the ropes while managing complex family dynamics and high-stakes decisions.

With only three seasons, many are still pining for more episodes of the cult celebrity satire “The Other Two,” but at least one person thinks the show ended where it was supposed to. Speaking in a recent interview on Variety’s “Just for Variety” podcast with Marc Malkin, former star of the series Drew Tarver shared that despite the desire for more of him, he has no need to revisit Cary Dubek.

Is he going to start bopping around and doing these storylines, trying to be an actor again? So, I was really happy with how it ended and his journey. But it was a really,...

With his latest role, Chet Hanks got to explore some art imitating life.
The Running Point actor, who is the son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, recently revealed he was prepared to “quit acting” if he didn’t get the role of basketball bad boy Travis Bugg on the Netflix sports comedy series from Mindy Kaling.
“It was just uncanny—it’s almost like it was written for me, but it wasn’t,” Hanks told Esquire. “So I basically get to be a slightly exaggerated version of myself.”
Three years sober, he also related to Travis’ addiction struggle in the series, which was co-created by Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, David Stassen and Elaine Ko.
“That’s just great writing, and I’m glad that they allowed the opportunity to give their character more depth,” added Hanks. “But it’s exciting. I’ve always noticed art imitating life in a lot...

Check the scoreboard before you keep reading: this article contains spoilers for season 1 of "Running Point."
Ever since she got her start on "The Office," Mindy Kaling has become a seriously major producer and writer — and her latest project, "Running Point," is making a huge splash on Netflix. As an original series for the platform, it's ranking high in the streamer's top 10 after dropping its first season on February 27, 2025 ... and whether you're a basketball diehard or you barely know how the game is played, I can tell you the show is definitely worth checking out.
When we first meet Isla Gibson (Kate Hudson), she's working as the coordinator of charitable endeavors for the Los Angeles Waves basketball team alongside her siblings — her younger half-brother Sandy ("The Other Two" standout Drew Tarver) is the company's chief financial officer, and her younger brother Ness (Scott MacArthur), a former player, works as the team's general manager.
