The show is being heralded as one of the best shows of the decade already, and with good reason. Something that good is bound to leave a big hole of what to binge next in anyone’s life. Luckily, there are plenty of TV gems that are somehow still woefully under-watched.

If you find yourself laughing out loud while watching the new sports comedy Running Point, you're not alone. The Netflix hit is "a return to traditional comedy," showrunner-producer David Stassen tells Gold Derby, and it also provides viewers with that "big feel" they've been "craving."

Cocreated by Stassen, Elaine Ko, Mindy Kaling, and Ike Barinholtz, Running Point stars Kate Hudson as Isla Gordon, a former party girl who becomes the president of the Los Angeles Waves basketball team. The family-owned business includes older brother Cam (Justin Theroux), middle brother Ness (Scott MacArthur), and younger brother Sandy (Drew Tarver), plus surprise half-brother Jackie (Fabrizio Guido).

The 10-episode first season of Running Point dropped Feb. 27 on Netflix, and it was picked up for Season 2 days later. The series is eligible at the 2025 Emmys in the comedy categories.

The wedding was a three-day event held at Hotel Esencia in Xpu Há, Mexico. The events began on Thursday (March 13) with a bonfire on the beach, followed by a rehearsal dinner and welcome party on Friday (March 14), and the wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday night (March 15).

The couple shared photos from the wedding with Vogue and opened up about their weekend.

“All I’ll say is, it was wonderful,” Justin said. “Ceremonies with vows are about the words contained within them. And they are better left un-described here. That being said, the officiant said some wonderful things, and my wife was just… well, incredibly touching. I was very moved.”

The couple tied the knot over the weekend in Tulum, Mexico, according to multiple outlets. TMZ posted photos of the couple in wedding attire on a beach.

Reps for Theroux and Bloom have not responded to a request for comment.

Theroux and Bloom first sparked romance rumors in February 2023, when they were seen together at a Netflix event. They made their red carpet debut over a year later, at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March 2024.

According to People, Theroux and Bloom got engaged in August 2024 in Italy, where he was promoting the Beetlejuice sequel at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.

The Comedy Central/HBO Max sitcom, about millennial siblings Cary (Tarver) and Brooke Dubek (Heléne Yorke) dealing with their Justin Bieber-like younger brother’s worldwide fame, aired from 2019 to 2023.

“It felt like a good conclusion to those characters. I love that show,” Tarver tells me on the “Just for Variety” podcast. “I love Cary Dubek, but once he had just that really dark third season, it did feel like maybe this has come to a natural end. He’s kind of in a good place. Is he going to start bopping around and doing these storylines, trying to be an actor again? So, I was really happy with how it ended and his journey.
