Success on television doesn’t come bigger than NCIS. The franchise was conceived by Donald Paul Bellisario, a former sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps who had previously found success with the original Magnum P.I., starring Tom Selleck. Jag was the first show in the franchise, followed by NCIS. Since then, there have been five babies, namely : NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawaiʻi, NCIS: Sydney, and NCIS: Origins.
All NCIS shows stick to the same narrative formula. The Major Case Response Team (McRt) of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service of the United States Department of the Navy investigates crimes committed by or linked to members of the United States Navy and Marine Corps (Usmc), and their associated branches of government. The Young and the Restless spoilers for December 23-27 focus on the true reason for this season. Yes, some of Genoa City’s residents celebrate Christmas while others do their business. For example, Nate and Audra are in Los Angeles where there’s not a speck of snow in sight. They’re on the hunt for Damian.
Heads Up: On Christmas Day, a classic episode instead of a brand new Y&r. Here’s what you need to know:
The original airdate of the episode: December 24, 1985 Teaser #1: Victor is torn between Nikki and Ashley. Teaser #2: Lauren struggles to connect with Paul. Teaser #3: Danny hopes for a Christmas miracle. Christmas with the Newmans
This week on Y&r, Victor (Eric Braeden) reminds his loved ones about the true meaning of Christmas. He’ll probably say that family is what the holidays are all about. Sometimes, his version of family is a little twisted.

General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Ryan Paevey (Nathan West) hasn’t been seen on our Gh screen since 2018. That doesn’t mean that fans wouldn’t love to have him back.
Of course, fans have watched Ryan on Hallmark as well. Now Ryan teases that he might “dabble” in TV and movies. Where might we see him next?
General Hospital Spoilers – Nathan West Missed The Birth Of His Son
General Hospital’s Nathan was killed during February Sweeps 2018. Of course, a lot of fans blame Peter August (ex-Wes Ramsey) for Nathan’s deaths.
Peter drew Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) to Port Charles with plans to kill him. Unfortunately, Cesar shot Nathan and killed him before he could get to Peter.
Nathan’s wife, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), was pregnant with her son James West (Gary James Fuller). Nathan never got to meet his son; Peter ended up delivering him.

Gone are the days when General Hospital viewers saw Ryan Paevey on their screen as Nathan West.
The actor was killed off during February sweeps in 2018, and some fans still haven’t moved past his exit.
He played the role for just over four years. He was the son of supervillain Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and crazy doctor Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
Toward the end of his time on General Hospital, Ryan appeared in his first Hallmark movie in 2016. For the next several years, he remained one of the network’s leading men in film.
From 2016 to 2023, Ryan starred in 16 Hallmark movies, several of which had Christmas-themed storylines.
This has been the first year he hasn’t been in anything Hallmark-related, and it seemed he had walked away from acting.
Or has he?

We were on pins and needles waiting for that reunion to happen, and when it did, suffice it to say it was a little anticlimactic.
General Hospital Spoilers —Maxie Jones Is Busy Holding On To Deception
Still, we were expecting more than for Spinelli to just end up another cast regular who Maxie could play off of. There hasn’t been much focus on their relationship or the way their coming back together has changed their family unit.

Few might remember John McTiernan's 2003 military thriller "Basic," a film that was, at the time, touted as a grand reunion between "Pulp Fiction" stars John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson. Because of its star power, "Basic" cost $50 million to make, but raked in a paltry $43 million at the box office. It currently sits at a 21% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and I recall reading Roger Ebert's scathing one-star review with a wince; Ebert said that "Basic" was "was not a film that could be understood," stating that it was so twisty and full of trickery that is might be better called a "jerk-around movie." To elucidate on Ebert's point, the plot description for "Basic" on Wikipedia runs eleven paragraphs. The film is only 98 minutes long.
The plot can, however, be explained (kind of), and we shall now, dear readers, endeavor to unpack this forgotten 2003 thriller for all future generations.

General Hospital Spoilers – Is Dex Heller Courting Danger?
Dex is making the drastic career move to convince Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and to be honest, himself, that he is better than he has behaved in the past. Dex almost killed on Sonny’s orders and it was this revelation that caused Joss to dump him.
But weirdly enough, Joss is not pleased that Dex wants to get on the straight and narrow path. As she wisely points out, Sonny could have Dex eliminated for being a turncoat.

Two actors who left General Hospital years ago are opening up about what led to their exits from the long-running soap opera series.
And it seems it has to do with the fans and the negativity that some of them bring to the fandom.
Nicolas Bechtel played Spencer Cassadine back in 2013 and then returned for a guest appearance in 2020. His role was recast a year later.
Ryan Paevey played the role of Nathan West from 2013 to 2018, when the actor decided to leave the show. The character was killed off.
So, what did they have to say about General Hospital and the fans?
Keep reading to find out more…

It almost sounds like a Hallmark movie. Young man grows disenchanted, decides to seek a simpler life.
But Ryan Paevey isn’t following a script. Instead, he is re-evaluating things.
“Sadly, no word of a [Hallmark] film,” Paevey wrote via X on Tuesday after fans asked whether he’d be in any new projects this year. “I may take 2024 off from filming, unless the project is with friends.”
He added, “The last 8 months of life in this industry have left a pretty bitter taste in my mouth, and I need some time away from a world so full of fake friends and empty promises.”
Paevey said that he’s “weary” about jumping back into acting.
When fans reacted with concern, Paevey downplayed his remarks He’s “alright” and explained that he’s “had a great run” in the entertainment business.

Ryan Paevey was one of the Hallmark hunks who starred in several movies for the channel over the years.
He also starred as the hunky police officer, Nathan West, on General Hospital.
Before getting into soaps and film, Ryan did modeling work and appeared in several movies.
The actor had yet to announce any upcoming projects with Hallmark, which prompted concerned fans to worry about his future with the popular channel.
Unfortunately, it seems Ryan doesn’t have anything planned for 2024 for Hallmark at this point, and he is considering walking away from acting.
This isn’t the news Mr. Darcy fans hoped to get from him.

It’s been a huge week in the land of soap operas, not only in front of the camera but behind the scenes, too. Time to look through some of the biggest daytime drama news stories from the past week.
General Hospital Spoilers – Two Major Days Comebacks
Hold on to your hats, Days Of Our Lives (Dool) fans, because there are two massive returns on the horizon. Soap veteran and Another World alum, Stephen Schnetzer will reprise his 1970s role on the show, returning as Steve Olson, Julie Williams’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) brother.
He didn’t offer too many details during his appearance on The Locher Room when he talked about his Dool return; however, it seems as if his comeback could be linked to the tribute the soap is planning for the late and great Bill Hayes (Doug Williams).
In addition, Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans) also announced during...

Hey, remember "Basic"? I'm guessing there's a good chance you don't. The 2003 thriller boasted a reunion of "Pulp Fiction" stars John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson, but that wasn't enough to entice audiences, and it flopped at the box office. But yesterday's box office flop is today's Netflix hit! And "Basic" is burning up the Netflix charts right now — it's currently in Netflix's top 10. Why does this keep happening? Why do movies that time forgot keep ending up becoming hits on Netflix? I think the answer is simple: people want disposable entertainment, and you don't get more disposable than "Basic."
The thriller was helmed by John McTiernan, and as of this writing, it's the last film McTiernan directed. Maybe that's what's drawing people in here. Maybe couples are gathered around their TV and/or computers, asking each other, "Is John McTiernan's final movie streaming? That's what I'm in the mood for tonight!

But nothing is set in stone. The Daytime Emmys are decided based on sample episode submissions, which are the great equalizer, so watch out for a big upset.
“Days” submitted an episode in which Abigail (Best Actress nominee Marci Miller) fights against her alternate personality Gabby in her own mind, and then another episode in which Lani (Sal Stowers) imagines the life she might have led while undergoing an emergency C-section.

Dominic Zamprogna has earned his third Daytime Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor for playing Detective Dante Falconeri on “General Hospital.” The role brought him previous nominations in this category in 2014 and 2016. The actor exited “Gh” earlier this year after playing the role since 2009, so will Emmy voters send him off with his first win?
These awards are decided by blue ribbon panels viewing sample performance reels from each actor. Although the Daytime Emmys did not release the drama acting reels to the public this year, they have been made available to the press. Below is an overview of Zamprogna’s submission.

And we're back!
This week on General Hospital, Port Charles dealt with the aftermath of Detective Nathan West's death, while others had, uh, stuff going on too, I guess.
To be honest, Friday's episode – which focused in its entirety on Nathan's funeral – was so much better than the entire rest of the week combined. So I'm going to start with that, even though it's not chronologically first!
It was a smart move to make 100% of Friday all about Nathan, with no cutaways to ancillary other characters that would have pulled viewers out of that storyline.
I continue to be totally devastated by Michelle Stafford's performance. She is playing Nina's anger, shock, and heartbreak perfectly.
Michelle was one of my stars of the week, giving far and away one of the best performances. Her delivery of the speech at Nathan's funeral had me straight-up sobbing! The fact that Nina...

This is one way to beat the summer heat. After her surprising (well, at least to us) exit on Grey's Anatomy, actress Chyler Leigh seems ready to start her new journey with a completely new look. A very short, chop-it-all-off kinda look. The former Grey's actress debuted the new hairstyle last night at The Thirst Project's third annual gala in Los Angeles, where she attended the red carpet alongside her hubby Nathan West. Leigh paired her uber-short cut with a strapless, sweetheart cut gown by Kevan Hall that made her look absolutely stunning. Plus, it takes guts to chop it all of like that—so, kudos to her.

Photo courtesy of Tribeca Film / credit: Nathan West Over the past three decades, Vincent D'Onofrio has amassed a diverse, respected career as a genius character actor in movies such as Full Metal Jacket, Men In Black, Mystic Pizza, and The Player, and many more know him best as the intense Detective Goren on Law and Order: Criminal Intent. In 2005, D'Onofrio directed himself as a cinematic legend in the short film Five Minutes, Mr. Welles, and he's now moved on to a feature project: a low-budget 'slasher musical' (in which he does not act) called Don't Go in the Woods, which debuts today on nationwide VOD. While the story is credited to D'Onofrio, he enlisted two of his buddies to flesh out the screenplay: Joe Vinciguerra and Sam Bisbee, the latter of whom also wrote the songs that serve as the soundtrack for the movie.

How do you measure the character of a man? By the company he keeps? His work ethic? Their dancing prowess? His ability to do the honestly report the facts despite pressure from his mentor, who may or may not be the editor of a powerful newspaper? Alleged would argue it's the latter. We know, that's a pretty specific choice and thus not really applicable to other judgments of character, but that doesn't make it any less valid. What's more, Alleged has won (received?) the Dove Foundation's "Family Approved" seal of approval. Now that's a pedigree few films can match. What does that mean for you the viewer? No sex, no swearing, no violence, and a whole lot of good ol' fashioned moral fiber. Mmmm mmm, yum. If the wholesome story of ethics and love in the face of corruption sounds like you're cup of tea, then you might want to check out Alleged,...
