F1 director Joseph Kosinski explained why racing champion Lewis Hamilton was one of the key figures during the production of Apple Studios’ upcoming sports drama. Besides making an appearance in the Brad Pitt-led movie, Hamilton also serves as an executive producer.

Speaking with Screen Rant, Kosinski shared how much Hamilton helped them during the cast’s training and filming. Premiere will launch international sales this week at the European Film Market.

The neo-noir road movie follows an ex-con who is coerced by mobsters into executing a hit on a woman, but instead, the two misfits hatch a plan to steal money from the people who want her dead. Max Casella and Glenn Fleshler round out the lead cast.

Paramount Pictures has released the "Big Game" TV spot Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning and, after celebrating the franchise's past, we see more of what appears to be Tom Cruise's last mission as the iconic Ethan Hunt.

If so, the actor will go out on a high, especially if the stunts teased here are any indication of what to expect from the movie. We also see the returning characters who will be at Hunt's side, with Pom Klementieff's fan-favourite assassin, Paris, among them.

That’s Tom Cruise begging his fellow Imf teammates to go on one more death-defying expedition to save the world in a new action-packed Super Bowl trailer for “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.” Paramount Pictures will release the film, which is being billed as Cruise’s final outing as super-spy Ethan Hunt, in theaters on May 23.

The spot doesn’t stint on the crazy stunts that have become the franchise’s signature. At one point, Cruise dangles upside down from a plane, clinging on for dear life. Cruise is no slouch when it comes to risking it all on screen, having previously scaled the side of the Burj Khalifa and piloted a motorcycle off a cliff. Warner Bros., Apple Original Films, and Brad Pitt got the adrenaline rushing early on Super Bowl Sunday with a new teaser for Pitt’s upcoming racing blockbuster, F1.

Apple produced the film, and Warner Bros. will distribute it in theaters this summer. F1 is Joseph Kosinski’s follow-up to Top Gun: Maverick. As with that film, F1 focuses on an aging character who was once at the top of his field (Pitt) who returns to the heat of competition to help mentor a younger cohort (Damson Idris). Ethan Hunt has been saving the world for nearly thirty years, but will Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning be his last mission? There have been rumblings that Tom Cruise may call it quits with The Final Reckoning, but if that’s the case, neither he nor director Christopher McQuarrie are prepared to confirm it… yet.

“You gotta see the movie,” Cruise told Empire when they tried to get an answer out of him. “It’s a hard thing for me to discuss at the moment, because it really is something that you have to experience.” The actor added that The Final Reckoning will be “an epic, emotional journey of the entire franchise.“

McQuarrie also wasn’t willing to confirm anything but did say that the film will be “the satisfying conclusion to a 30-year story arc. I’m pretty confident that people are going to feel that the title was appropriate.

Sunrise on the Reaping, publishing on March 18, is the anticipated new novel in the worldwide bestselling The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. The book will take place in the world of Panem 24 years prior to the events of The Hunger Games, on the morning reaping of the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the second Quarter Quell.

The 50th Hunger Games are noteworthy given that the victor was Haymitch Abernathy, the only winner from District 12 prior to Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark’s win years later. Haymitch, who like all victors went on to become a mentor to tributes from his district, was played by Woody Harrelson in the Hunger Games film adaptations.

A feature film adaptation of Sunrise on the Reaping will be released by Lionsgate on Nov.
