Sheryl Underwood, Amanda Kloots, Jerry O’Connell, Akbar Gbaja-Biamila and Natalie Morales bid farewell to “The Talk” on Friday as the CBS daytime show aired its series finale after 15 seasons.
Kloots, in particular, found herself tearing up over the emotional episode, as she offered a message to their loyal audience through tears.
“I live with a child, you know, so coming here every day and being able to talk to five, or four people, obviously — five, I’ll include you guys [the audience], cause you’re a part of it — about really fun, silly topics to important topics, but to be able to talk … I’m so grateful for that,” she shared. “I think we can’t forget that. Listen to each other, talk to one another, don’t fight with each other, really appreciate each other’s opinions, because that’s what we got to do everyday. And it was so beautiful.

“The Talk” executive producer Rob Crabbe is getting a little too familiar with TV goodbyes. A year and a half after his previous talker, “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” signed off, he’s now doing the same thing on Friday with “The Talk.”
It’s a different kind of show, and therefore a different kind of goodbye. But still, there are similarities to the sign-off. “The emotional undercurrent of what the shows were trying to accomplish is the same,” Crabbe told Variety. “You’re trying to express joyfulness. You’re trying to make people feel something. And with ‘The Talk,’ we’re giving everybody a little break in their day, the routine of it. This is a respite in your day, where you can come and laugh and watch five people that really like each other have a really good time on television. That emotional currency will be...

The actors from the current revival of Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s “Merrily We Roll Along” have skyrocketed in Gold Derby’s combined odds for the 2024 Tony Awards nominations. The prediction center displays commanding leads for Jonathan Groff, Lindsay Mendez and Daniel Radcliffe to win their respective categories. This is an understandable result considering this revival is the hottest ticket in town and this trio of performers has been ever-present in the media. But how often does a trio of actors from the same production pull off three separate acting victories at the Tony Awards?
It’s quite common for a musical to grab two acting trophies, but three awards is much rarer. To date, only 15 musical productions have earned three acting wins. The first time this feat occurred was at the 1956 ceremony, which was ironically the first time the Tony Awards ever announced a slate of nominees (previously...

Thirteen years after CBS’s “The Talk” aired its first episode, the daytime TV staple is still going strong. Created by actress Sara Gilbert, the popular series began as a motherhood-centric discussion program featuring six female co-hosts (aged 35-58) with entertainment backgrounds. Throughout its 14 seasons, the show has evolved to cover a broader scope of topics and has seen 16 full-time hosts come and go, with the current lineup including the first two male panelists. Peacock’s ordering more of Bupkis, giving the half-hour comedy series a season two order. The first season premiered on May 4, 2023 with the release of all eight episodes. Peacock didn’t confirm when fans can expect the just-announced second season to debut.
“Pete Davidson is a once-in-a-generation talent, and what he created with the first season of Bupkis absolutely blew us away,” stated Susan Rovner, Chairman, Entertainment Content, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “Pete has the rare ability to make you laugh out loud with his unfiltered brand of comedy, and then tear up with his raw and honest vulnerability. We could not be more proud to continue on this journey with Pete, Lorne Michaels, Broadway Video, and our partners at Universal Television for a second season as we continue to bolster Peacock’s comedy slate.

Even though Pete Davidson’s “Saturday Night Live” cast member days are over, his tight-knit relationship with NBC has continued to grow and evolve this year with the premiere of his new comedy series “Bupkis.”
The full first season was released on Peacock on May 4 to critical acclaim, but ahead of Emmys voting, the streamer is taking advantage of the wide-cast NBCUniversal net by making the second episode of “Bupkis,” one of its most praised, available for more viewers. Peacock is apparently opting to promote the second episode instead of the divisive premiere episode in hopes of hooking audiences to keep watching from there.

Although Celebrity Big Brother didn't return for another season this past winter, longtime Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves has some big-name celebrities in mind for any future seasons. Julie has been the host of Big Brother since the show first aired in 2000. In 2018, Big Brother returned during the winter months for its first celebrity rendition of the show.
While Celebrity Big Brother has only had three seasons on air so far, there has been a wide range of stars to compete inside the famous house. During Celebrity Big Brother season 3 in winter 2022, UFC champ Miesha Tate took home the grand prize. Prior to Miesha, singer Tamar Braxton won season 2, while actress Marissa Jaret Winokur was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother season 1. In addition to these three champs, celebs from all different industries including athletes, comedians, and even well-known politicians have spent time inside the famous house.

The Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike might be a good thing for fans of Big Brother, as CBS is considering adding a Celebrity All-Stars season to its lineup. Celebrity Big Brother is a spin-off of the classic reality show that premiered in 2018. With host Julie Chen Moonves, the show casts celebrities in a shortened version of the game. Winners of the three Celebrity Big Brother seasons include Marissa Jaret Winokur, Tamar Braxton, and Miesha Tate.
According to CinemaBlend, due to the WGA strike, CBS is considering airing a Celebrity All-Stars version of Big Brother. This installment would air after Big Brother season 25, presumably in the fall or winter. It would take the place of scripted television that will be delayed because of the strike.
Celebrity Big Brother Season 3 Featured Controversial Player Todrick Hall
Celebrity Big Brother aired in 2018 and 2019, and returned in 2022, presumably taking a hiatus because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to plan, Pete Davidson was supposed to have made his triumphant return to Rockefeller Center’s Studio 8H this weekend for his debut as “Saturday Night Live” host.
Because of the Writers Guild of America strike, however, Davidson’s “SNL” return will have to wait, since it’s among the many shows that gave gone dark after the Writers Guild of America went on strike May 1.
Davidson is using his free time to show his support of the WGA, by joining writers picketing outside Silvercup Studios in Brooklyn.

For the first time in three years, Celebrity Big Brother didn't return for a brand-new season this winter, but there are many stars who should join if it ever comes back. The celebrity rendition of the show debuted in 2018 when a group of 11 stars moved into the famous house for a shortened version of the competition series. The show later returned for two more consecutive seasons.
Last winter, Miesha Tate took home the grand prize for Celebrity Big Brother season 3. Prior to her win, actress Marissa Jaret Winokur and singer Tamar Braxton also took home the win for their respective seasons. The show has cast all different types of celebrities, from actresses to athletes, and even well-known politicians. Although there have been some popular celebs to compete on the show, these A-list stars should take on the competition.

Pete Davidson is just as famous for his personal life as his acting career, so it’s only fitting that his first leading television role sees him playing himself. The upcoming Peacock comedy “Bupkis” stars Davidson as Davidson, parodying the surreal levels of fame he has achieved in recent years with the help of some A-list friends.
The show is similar to Davidson’s 2020 film “The King of Staten Island,” which was directed by Judd Apatow and saw the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member in a role heavily inspired by his own background. Unlike that film though, “Bupkis” sees Davidson explicitly play a fictionalized version of himself, juggling acting roles, antics in the celebrity world, tabloid rumors, and his relationships with his working class family from Staten Island.
The trailer features many nods to real life tabloid stories and rumors involving Davidson, including his sister complaining about speculation about the star’s penis size.

A fourth season of Celebrity Big Brother has not been announced yet, but perhaps the franchise should take a different direction and give fans a shortened Big Brother legends season instead. Celebrity Big Brother is a shorter, fast-paced version of the classic game, which casts celebrities as the houseguests. Rather than the classic three-month game, the celebrity version is only one month, and is much less of a commitment for the contestants. So far, the Celebrity Big Brother winners were Marissa Jaret Winokur (season 1), Tamar Braxton (season 2), and Miesha Tate (season 3).
Although Celebrity Big Brother is shorter than the regular game, it still brings all the excitement. Celebrity Big Brother season 3 was one of the most dramatic of them all, as Todrick Hall became a villain in the house. His antics, including his mistreatment of Shanna Moakler, were some of the most buzzed about on social media. As the Celebrity...

They say, "If you can't stand the heat, then get out of the kitchen," and it's a lesson learned for Emily in Santa Bootcamp, another charming new film in the It's A Wonderful Lifetime's slate.
Grab your cocoa with marshmallows and brace yourselves for this one!
TV Fanatic must've been on the Nice list this year because we scored an exclusive first look at Santa's Bootcamp, and if this is the type of heat we have to look forward to with this film, we'll probably spontaneously combust with cuteness overload and all the feels by the film's end!
The Walking Dead veteran Emily Kinney headlines this star-studded Christmas flick that will surely make it on your list of favorites.

With four strong seasons under its belt and at least two more on the way, the beloved vampire comedy series "What We Do in the Shadows" proves that vampires in pop culture — especially those written and acted this superbly — never die out. Based on Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement's stellar mockumentary film of the same name, the FX series follows a group of centuries-old vampires living in Staten Island amongst their ever-expanding creepy crew and enemies -- both human and supernatural.
While several impressive guest stars have appeared on the show -- like Tilda Swinton in "The Trial" and Mark Hamill in one of the series' standout episodes, "On the Run" -- the series' main characters more than hold their own against them. There are no "bad" characters in "What We Do in the Shadows." However, some are better than others, and this list will break down the best...
