- Madison married Brent Joseph Morris on July 8th, 2006. The day after she returned from her honeymoon, she had a heart attack and died on July 21, 2006, two weeks after her wedding, and a few days before she would have turned 22.
- In 1995, at age 11, Madison had a guest role in ER (1994), as a sick child who died of her injuries. The episode,Hell and High Water (1995), was later nominated for an Emmy, and the loss of her character's life was the first time the series featured a child's death.
- She liked to be called Madison as she felt there were already too many Jessicas around.
- Studied to become a high-school teacher at the University of the Cumberlands (previously called Cumberland College), which is located in Kentucky. She had planned to take a post teaching 10th-grade English at George Rogers Clark High School, Winchester, in September 2006 but sadly died before fulfilling her dreams to be a teacher.
- She battled pneumonia a lot as a child and was eventually diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy and needed a heart transplant. After a short wait on the donor-waiting list, she received the transplant at age 15.
- The elder sister of Tori Wright; she also had two younger brothers and another younger sister.
