On Sunday, Mad Men actress January Jones ripped United Airlines for a major delay on her yet-to-depart flight.
In a screenshot posted to Instagram stories, Jones showed a page with flight-delay information detailing a 16-hour and 25-minute delay for her trip. Jones tagged United Airlines and wrote, “Do better.”
“A couple of $15 food vouchers isn’t gonna cut it,” she added, “Our 7:30 [flight] last night still hasn’t left.”
>January Jones: My Plans After ‘Mad Men’ [Exclusive Video]
Jones followed up with a photo of herself on the airport floor, resting her head on a bag, writing, “Is there still a secretary of transportation? Can’t remember what’s left.”
Jones’ comment was a shot at President Donald Trump, who has cut thousands of federal employees since his inauguration, including hundreds of workers at the Department of Transportation. In January, Trump appointed former reality television personality Sean Duffy as his secretary of transportation.

Mad Men, the critically acclaimed drama series set in the 1960s, is known for its meticulous portrayal of the era’s advertising world, from social dynamics to fashion. However, one aspect that has sparked debate is its treatment of race. While the show reflects the racial segregation of the time, it is often criticized for the minimal visibility of African-American characters.

Mad Men was a loved show among fans and one aspect that drew them to the series was the near-accurate portrayal of the ’60s. The Jon Hamm series not only covered the small details of the time but also often delved into the politics of the period. During the sixth season portraying the year 1968, creator Matthew Weiner made sure to include many references from the country’s political history.

When asked about the historical references in Mad Men Season 6, Weiner shared that he wanted to address these issues primarily because of the political landscape of the country during the time of the airing of the series. The political events of 1968 are accurately reflected in the series, where the characters struggle to adjust to the changing office dynamics.

January Jones played the forever-troubled Betty Draper in AMC’s Mad Men. Initially paired up with Jon Hamm’s Don Draper, Jones’ character has an incredible arc as the seasons progress and for her performance, she received a Primetime Emmy and two Golden Globe Award nominations.
One of the most interesting arcs for Betty Draper is her weight condition in season five. While the makers had already wanted to explore that storyline, January Jones’ pregnancy at the time reportedly gave them the perfect opportunity to explore it. However, Jones reportedly had to undergo severe preparation to perform that season.

Action icon Liam Neeson is headed to Max...but he doesn’t remember that he’s an action icon. The Taken star leads 2011’s Unknown, which finds the acclaimed actor taking the lead as a man who, after waking up from a coma, doesn’t remember who he is. But, even stranger, no one else remembers him either. And another man is claiming to be who he thinks he is. While that may have made the movie sound a little confusing, it’s really not, with the movie allowing Neeson to leap from a frightened everyman to the grizzled action star we’ve all come to know and love.

When considering modern warfare, most Americans don't imagine an air-conditioned box in the middle of the Nevada desert, in which a soldier operates a drone from 7,400 miles away. That's because, thanks to technological advancements in weaponry, monitoring and destroying 'enemy' targets has become as easy as pressing a button on a video game controller. The 2014 war drama Good Kill, written and directed by Andrew Niccol, draws audiences into this world of drones and dread, presenting a labyrinth of moral dilemmas that are, frighteningly, all too real.
Ethan Hawke stars in the lead role of Air Force Major Tommy Egan, a far cry from his recent mastery of villainous characters. Egan is a pilot who has been reassigned as a drone operator during the War on Terror. At nighttime (daytime in Afghanistan), Egan travels from his suburban home with a wife and two kids to an isolated area where he pilots unmanned armed Mq-9 Reaper drones.

Foot fog, exposed chipped nail polish, and scrunched-up toes are just a few of the transparent shoe disasters involving sweaty feet we’ve noticed.
How to Stop Foot Odor and Keep Your Feet Fresh
The American Podiatric Medical Association (Apma) states that excessive foot sweating can indicate hyperhidrosis. However, almost everyone will experience having sweaty feet at times. It can lead to health issues such as odor, athlete’s foot, and toenail fungus.

Nearly 10 years after her run as Sally Draper ended, Kiernan Shipka has a new take on the character.
The Mad Men alum recently reflected on how the AMC show’s cast and crew “were so protective over me” while filming the mature ’60s-set series, which ran for seven seasons from 2007 to 2015.
Although she “definitely had context” for what she was reacting to, Shipka explained on Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Dinner’s On Me podcast that she was ultimately shielded from some of the show’s more risqué material.
“They were so protective over me and my kind of innocence and not exposing me to stuff that, you know, was sensitive or more adult,” said Shipka. “I always knew what I was reacting to. Like, I always knew what [my character] was walking in on. I just didn’t have to see it over and over again.”

Kiernan Shipka Recalls the ‘Mad Men’ Cast and Crew Trying to Protect Her “Innocence” as a Child Star
While Kiernan Shipka appreciates the Mad Men team for trying to shield her from the show’s adult content as a child actor, she admits she kind of understood what was going on at the time.

Imagine Mad Men without Jon Hamm’s brooding Don Draper—impossible, right? Well, it nearly happened. And oddly enough, his devastatingly good looks were the problem. Studio execs fretted that Hamm might be too handsome for viewers to buy him as the complex, troubled ad man, fearing his charm could overshadow the gritty 1960s narrative.

Kyle Edward Ball, the writer and director behind 2023’s micro-budget horror hit “Skinamarink,” has teamed up with A24 for his next film, “The Land of Nod.”
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but Ball will write and direct the project, which will be released globally by A24.
“The Land of Nod” will be produced by Ronald Bronstein, Eli Bush and Josh Safdie under their new production banner Central Pictures; SpectreVision’s Lawrence Inglee, Daniel Noah and Elijah Wood; as well as Tatiana Bears and Bruno Vernaschi Berman. Theo Vieljeux will executive produce.

"Saturday Night Live" has been going on for 50 seasons now, so they've had their fair share of bad hosts. Sometimes the host is simply not that comfortable with live acting -- looking at you, January Jones or Jacob Elordi -- and sometimes the host has the bad luck of getting a cold at the worst possible moment, like what seemingly happened to poor Jean Smart in the season 50 premiere. Other times the host is bad because, well, they're just kind of a bad person.
Case in point: Steven Seagal, who hosted in April 1991 and helped deliver an episode so terrible that it got him banned from the show forever. Over three decades later, most "SNL" fans are happy to just pretend the episode never happened, because ite was a trainwreck in a way that wasn't even that fun or interesting.

Many know Anna Osceola as Jon Hamm's wife, and while the pair did meet on the Mad Men set, many are surprised to learn who Osceola played. The acclaimed AMC series centers around Hamm's Don Draper, an advertising executive in 1960s New York who's a chronic womanizer. Don is repeatedly unfaithful throughout both of his marriages, finding sexual conquests at the office, swanky Manhattan cocktail bars, and even California, a place near and dear to Don's heart that he visits frequently throughout the show.
It's California where Don finds himself in the series finale, and the Mad Men ending sees him the lowest he's ever been. In 2007, the AMC show Mad Men captivated fans with its gripping storyline and intense characters like Jon Hamm’s Don Draper. While fans quickly fell in love with the questionable character, there were some others that viewers were not extremely fond of. One of those was January Jones’ Betty Draper. Although she was a stunning and dotting housewife, the character came with her own set of problems.

In fact, even the actress, Jones, was skeptical about how audiences would view the elegant yet troubled housewife. After all, with her battles with depression, strained relationships, and eventually a terminal illness, the star’s biggest concern almost became a reality.

When it comes to the feminist themes of "Mad Men," it's typically Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) at the front of the conversation. She's on a clear upward journey from the moment she shows up in the pilot, and spends the show slowly but surely rising through the ranks of a male-dominated corporate environment. Then there's Betty (January Jones) as Peggy's polar opposite, a woman who spends the series trapped in an unfulfilling housewife role, even though she's not stupid and she speaks Italian; she totally could've enjoyed that career in psychology if she'd been born a little later.
In the middle is Joan. She's introduced as an extension of the mean girl trope, and characterized as sort of vain and shallow. She casually espouses all the ideals about gender roles that the show itself clearly wants to criticize. She comes from a time where looks really are almost all that matters for a woman,...

Don Draper (Jon Hamm) had 19 mistresses throughout Mad Men's seven seasons, not counting his three wives, making all of Don Draper's mistresses difficult to keep up with. Mad Men was one of AMC's prestige series that followed the lives and careers of Madison Avenue advertising executives throughout the 1960s. While the other ad men of Sterling Cooper also carried on extra-marital affairs, Donald F. Draper had the most by far. While Draper is married to Betty Hofstadt (January Jones), the character went on to have an unrivaled infidelity streak.
Despite having two kids with Betty, Don cheated on her numerous times as his advertising career took off. In Mad Men season 3, Betty, who long suspected Don's infidelities, learned that he's really Dick Whitman. Betty divorced Don, who then married his secretary, Megan Calvet (Jessica Pare) between seasons 4 and 5. He couldn't stay faithful to Megan either, and despite attempts...

Despite Sydney Sweeney being fan-cast as Black Cat in the MCU, I think she's a far better match for one iconic femme fatale in Marvel Studios' upcoming X-Men reboot. Sydney Sweeney, best known for her roles in Euphoria, The Handmaid's Tale and Anyone But You, has been a popular MCU fan-cast for quite some time. Sweeney's Marvel debut in the laughable Madame Web only made theories of her recasting even more prevalent, but while I'd love her to join the MCU, I have a different opinion on which Marvel Comics character she should play.
The most popular fan-cast theory suggests that Sydney Sweeney would be perfect for Felicia Hardy's Black Cat in the upcoming Spider-Man 4. I wouldn't be mad about this choice, as I think Sweeney and Tom Holland would have fantastic chemistry on-screen, and it would be great to see a love-interest other than Mj in the MCU.

Jim Carrey is one of the biggest working movie stars with decades of celebrated and successful projects, and he has the large net worth to go along with that career. Getting his start in the early 1980s with some small TV and movie roles, Jim Carrey really came to wider attention with In Living Color. From there, Carrey went on to become one of the most successful comedy movie stars of the 1990s with incredible performances in Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber, and much more. In the 2000s, Carrey entered a more dramatic portion of his career.
These new Jim Carrey movies saw the actor exploring darker and more psychological aspects of the world. It was an exploration that spilled over into his real life, as seen in the documentary Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond. His life was also rocked by the passing of his girlfriend, Cathriona White, who...

There are a lot of characters in Spider-Man’s mythos who need to make an appearance in the MCU. While the films reimagined Mary Jane, there are other staples of Spider-Man’s stories that are yet to make an appearance in the MCU. Be it Harry Osborn, Gwen Stacy, or Black Cat, these characters, that are important to Peter Parker’s personal life, have yet to even meet the character in the Sacred Timeline.

Hugh Jackman's Wolverine has only broken one surprising trend once in his live-action X-Men movie history. Hugh Jackman first appeared as James "Logan" Howlett's Wolverine in 2000's X-Men, and has gone on to become one of the longest-running superhero actors of all time, with appearances in ten feature films spanning the last 24 years. Jackman's most recent appearance in 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine marked his debut in the MCU proper, but this Marvel Studios project continued a brilliant Wolverine trend established in 20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise.
During the original X-Men trilogy, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine became the backbone of Fox's X-Men franchise. This led to the development of a solo trilogy for the clawed mutant, which gave him plenty of time to develop, and many opportunities to show off his incredible abilities. One of these abilities, it seems, was the power to remove his shirt, which Wolverine did in almost all of his live-action appearances,...

One time, Alyson Hannigan almost missed the bus back to band camp.
Ahead of the 1999 teen movie’s 25th anniversary, the American Pie actress reminisced about her role as lovable band nerd Michelle Flaherty in the raunchy franchise and how she almost wasn’t in the sequels.
“The best story from the whole thing was that, you know, it was a low-budget movie with all these tiers of negotiations,” Hannigan told Vulture. “There was an A-tier and a B-tier. I think I was on the bottom C-tier with Seann [William Scott].”
She explained that the tiers were “in regards to pay,” adding: “So it’s just scale plus 10 [percent to an agent]. There’s no negotiating on the C-tier because the character is not that important.
“I was like, ‘Okay, fine.’ It was seven days and it was more of a passion project. Then, in the contract, there was a sequel clause,” Hannigan continued.
