Kate Montgomery(I)

Best known for writing directing and producing the award-winning comedy Christmas in the Clouds, which premiered at Sundance and went on to win top awards in Austin and Santa Fe, Kate's credits also include Ever Since the World Ended, which won Best Film at SF Indiefest and the London Sci Fi Film Festival, and the new indie drama Outerlands which premiered in competition at 2025 SXSW and is Closing Night Film at the 2025 SF International Film Festival. Kate has optioned and sold screenplays to studios in the US, Canada and UK and works as a writer, story editor and producer for individual and industry clients in the US and abroad. She is a member of the Director's Guild of America and the Writers Guild of America.
