The Phunny Plush line from Kidrobot has so far included the likes of Michael Myers, Pennywise, Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, Regan from The Exorcist, Gizmo and some Gremlins, a Killer Klown from Outer Space… and there are a lot more characters joining the line in March, as you can see on Entertainment Earth. Upcoming additions include Chucky, Leatherface, Ghostface, Sam from Trick ‘r Treat, The Grabber from The Black Phone – and even Blade and Torch from Full Moon‘s Puppet Master franchise!
Blade was introduced in the original Puppet Master, which was directed by David Schmoeller from a script that was crafted by Kenneth J. Hall and Joseph G. Collodi, and has the following synopsis: Assailed by nightmarish visions, Alex Whitaker (Paul Le Mat) and his fellow psychics descend on the Bodega Bay Inn. There, they discover that their compatriot Neil (Jimmie F. Scaggs) has apparently committed suicide. But, as the gruesome visions continue,...

Charlie Sheen Explained How He Quit Drinking And Drugs ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Charlie Sheen’s wild days of drinking and drugs? Totally in the rearview now. In a chat, he opened up about how he turned his life around, swapping the chaos for a healthier routine. The big wake-up call? His HIV diagnosis pushed him to say goodbye to the party life for good finally.
These days, Sheen’s all about exercise, eating right, and just making better choices. “I don’t go on benders, don’t drink as much,” he said. His reason for it? A lot of self-loathing and shame from his past. But he had that “I deserve better” moment, and that’s when the shift started.
But it wasn’t just about quitting alcohol—Sheen also found a new treatment for his HIV that’s been a total game-changer. He’s part of a trial for...

Dave Allen believes Mike Tyson shouldn’t box anymore ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
The drama started after Tyson posted some intense pad work videos, sparking speculation about a potential comeback. Fans were excited, but Allen? Not so much. He thinks it’s all a bit of a pipe dream. He called it as he saw it: “For that reason alone, he should never box again.”
Now, let’s not forget Tyson’s heyday. He was a bona fide wrecking ball. But Allen’s got a different take now. Sure, Tyson reigned supreme, but that was a lifetime ago. Having taken some savage losses—Lennox Lewis, Danny Williams, and Kevin McBride—Tyson’s career isn’t exactly the stuff of legends anymore.
Allen doesn’t mince words. “Mike Tyson’s one of the greatest fighters of all time,” he asserted, “but you can’t turn back the clock.” True, though—Tyson’s glory days are gone now.

The eclectic mix of characters in NewsRadio brings a perfect blend of comedy and heart to the classic sitcom. Actors like Dave Foley and Stephen Root have continued to have successful careers post-NewsRadio in both comedy and drama. The NewsRadio cast is full of actors who would become famous actors and, ironically, podcast hosts. Set in the fictional Wnyx radio station in New York City, the show revolves around the hilarious interactions and mishaps of the station's staff. Despite its relatively short run, NewsRadio remains a beloved series known for its clever writing and strong ensemble cast.

One wouldn’t think that a schlocky slasher series about killer puppets would produce more than a dozen films across three decades, let alone sequels that are still being discussed today, yet here we are getting deep in the weeds over the straight-to-video sequel bliss that is Puppet Master 4. Puppet Master is easily the most successful property to come out of Charles Band’s Full Moon Features, best known for movies like Castle Freak and Subspecies, as well as more low-hanging fruit like The Gingerdead Man and The Evil Bong series. Puppet Master falls comfortably between these two extremes. After a satisfying initial trilogy that chronicles the grandiose revenge scheme of a persecuted toymaker, Puppet Master–like many long-running horror series–is forced to ask, “What’s next?”
In Puppet Master’s case, the franchise strangely pivots towards the rehabilitation of Blade, Leech Woman, Six-Shooter, and the rest of these...

The members of Gang of Four would likely be the first to tell you that you do not need an extravagant Gang of Four box set. They’re the ones who released a 45 sarcastically titled “To Hell With Poverty” and backed it up with “Capital (It Fails Us Now),” a lampoon about a newborn baby reaching for its credit card. They skewered advertising culture on “I Found That Essence Rare” and quipped, “The problem of leisure, what to do for pleasure, ideal love a new purchase” on “Natural’s Not in It.

Saban Films has released a new trailer for Vivarium. The movie stars Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots, who previously worked with one another on last year's under-the-radar gem The Art of Self-Defense. This time around, they seem to be treading into bizarre waters once again as this looks to be a unique and odd little thriller, which looks like it would be right at home in the Black Mirror universe.
The trailer kicks off by showing us the picture of a happy (ish) couple looking at a possible new home in a seemingly picturesque housing development. Everything is very cookie-cutter, with little to no variation from home to home. Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots then find themselves unwittingly trapped in the neighborhood after they decide that the house they were showing wasn't for them. Whether they like it or not, they're forced to accept domesticated life, whether they like it or not.

Freaks and Geeks told a lot of stories across its 18-episode run, but the central plot line was always Lindsay Weir struggling to find a place to fit in. At the start of the show, Lindsay (played by Linda Cardellini) had left the geeks for the freaks, abandoning the mathletes and Uno nights with her former best friend Millie to go see the Who and host a keg party. But being a burnout wasn’t really her thing, and by the finale she was still trying to find herself in 1981 suburbia.

The rebooted action heroine channels the spirit of Indiana Jones – and creepy daddy issues – in a dull, derivative romp
Dave Allen once said that men know they’re getting older when they watch Sunset Boulevard and realise they find Gloria Swanson quite attractive. Similarly, a certain generation will sense the grim reaper’s presence now that Angelina Jolie is no longer the screen face of Lara Croft, because the mantle has passed to Alicia Vikander.
This Lara is notably more serious and sensitive, and unlike Jolie, or the figure in the 90s video game – or indeed Karen Gillan in the new Jumanji movie – she doesn’t have to wear cute shorts or revealing clothes, which is fair enough. But she does an awful lot of very pathetic and borderline creepy daddy-daughter pining for that all-important man in her life. It’s a fantastically lacklustre appearance from Dominic West as the...

Ever since Netflix and Judd Apatow inked a two-season deal for romantic comedy series Love in late 2014, all has been quiet as the show began to pick up steam. Fast forward to today and ahead of the series premiere in mid-February, the online streaming giant has debuted the very first image and teaser for Apatow’s latest, showcasing Paul Rust and Community‘s Gillian Jacobs in the starring roles.
Centering on the core and mismatched dynamic between Rust’s do-gooder Gus and the unhinged wild child of Jacobs, Love has been pitched as a modern-day story of a romance between two self-proclaimed commitaphobes. The official logline for Netflix’s new original drama describes Apatow’s new creative venture as so: “They’ve had plenty of romantic misses. But when a jaded Angeleno meets a nerdy guy, they may figure out this “love” thing.”

It was reunion night in Hollywood on Saturday, as the casts of some truly beloved TV series got together for the first time in ages at the TV Land Awards. Picking up the Groundbreaking Award at this weekend's event was the cast of "Ally McBeal," Calista Flockhart stepping out for a rare public event to share the stage with her costars 13 years after the Fox series went off the air. While we'll have to wait for the special to air on April 18th, Flockhart told the audience, "What I remember the most are the friendships, truly." Flockhart was joined at the event by Gil Bellows, Greg German, Lisa Nicole Carson, Courtney Thorne-Smith, series director David E. Kelley, Peter MacNicol and writer Bill D'Elia. They all look great, don't they?! That wasn't the only reunion of the evening though. The stars of "The Wonder Years" were also on hand to accept the Impact Award,...

"Freaks and Geeks" fans, rejoice: The cast is slated to reunite at the upcoming TV Land Awards.
The beloved one-season wonder will receive the 15th Anniversary Award at the ceremony, with TV Land announcing in a press release that despite its short run from 1999-2000, the show "continues to find new fans every year." One of the reasons for that, no doubt, is the stellar ensemble that creator Paul Feig and co. assembled (casting director Allison Jones snagged the series's sole Emmy for her work), and TV Land revealed that almost every single main actor from the series will be present at the awards show.
Scheduled to appear are Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, Linda Cardellini, Busy Philipps, Samm Levine, Martin Starr, David Gruber Allen, and Steve Bannos. Feig and producer Judd Apatow are also confirmed.

Freaks and Geeks Episode 7 ‘Carded and Discarded’
Written by Judd Apatow & Paul Feig
Directed by Judd Apatow
Aired 1/10/2000 on NBC
Technically the tenth episode (in terms of production order) of Freaks and Geeks, there’s a noticeable dissonance in this episode’s tone when contrasted against the episodes surrounding it – things are markedly more optimistic in the first two thirds than in last week’s ‘I’m With the Band’ and next week’s ‘Girlfriends and Boyfriends’. But considering where it was placed (after a two-month hiatus at the end of 1999), ‘Carded and Discarded’ actually provides a nice light moment in between the dark stories bookending it.
‘Carded and Discarded’ – like many episodes of Freaks and Geeks – are about the idealistic minds of youth, and how that naivety leads to both moments of wonderment and disaster. This comes to a head memorably when the geeks meet Maureen, the new girl...

In "Piranha 3Dd," which hits theaters this Friday, the community of Lake Victoria is besieged by another swarm of prehistoric, man-eating fish. In the first film, it was drunken spring breakers who fell victim to the gory attacks. This time around, it's the partygoers at the Lake's "Adults Only" water park Big Wet (which happens to be watched over by stripper lifeguards and celebrity spokesman David Hasselhoff). The piranha invade thanks to an illegal river pump Ok'd by the park's dirtbag owner, Chet, played by none other than "that guy!" comedic scene-stealer David Koechner. (You might remember him as the sleazy Todd Packer on "The Office" or the sleazy boss from "Waiting..." or the sleazy boss from "Final Destination 5.") Koechner spoke with Moviefone and explained how to convincingly portray a slimeball that unwittingly unleashes a stomach-churning monster massacre -- and how to do it while not being distracted by the constant on-set nudity.

We’ll pick a topic inspired by what’s happening in the world of film and invite our writers to voice their opinions, an invitation we extend to you. If you want to submit your own answer, or respond to an answer from one of our writers, then please do so.
With 21 Jump St proving to be a resounding critical and commercial success both here and over the Atlantic, it’s clear that there is still an audience for big-screen remakes of old TV shows.
We asked our team if there were any other cult TV offerings which could benefit from a cinematic makeover.

The two comedian share their experiences in bringing this new sketch series to Comedy Central, debuting Tuesday, January 31
Tonight, Comedy Central premieres its original half-hour sketch series Key & Peele, starring comedians Jordan Peele and Keegan Michael Key. Whether it's satirizing the President, spoofing Nazis, or ordering up some soul food, Key & Peele will showcase their chemistry, camaraderie and unique point of view, born from their shared background and experiences growing up biracial in a not quite post-racial world.
We managed to catch up with both stars for a fun and insightful conversation. Check it out below.
Keegan Michael Key: I don't know why you make me wake up so early in the morning!
I watched the pilot last night, and I have to say...Pretty bold that you would eliminate half your viewing audience with just your second sketch out...
Keegan Michael Key: I assume you are talking about the "Bitch" sketch,...

When it comes to comedy, there are all sorts of approaches - not to the material, mind you, but the motivation to do it at all. Some performers are idealists, always in search of an elusive, perfect punchline; others enjoy the nuts and bolts of assembling a routine or a joke that functions on one level and seven others at the same time. For David Koechner, comedy is a simultaneous celebration of personal expression, and a practical way to pay the bills; after abandoning an early career in political science, the "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" and "Final Destination 5" costar found his calling in improvisational comedy, and later, more straightforward acting and stand-up.
IFC caught up with Koechner to talk about his eclectic, constantly expanding career, whose evolution is a byproduct both of his own creative impulses and larger familial obligations. But either way, it's what he loves,...

Thomas Lennon can currently be seen making naked love to a photocopy machine in Bad Teacher opposite Cameron Diaz. While he has made a career out of hilarious comedic roles such as Lt. Dangle on Reno 911! and various supporting appearances in too many films to count, his first passion is screenwriting. He and his screenwriting partner Robert Ben Garant are responsible for the scripts to Night at the Museum and its sequel, the ping pong epic Balls of Fury, and Herbie: Fully Loaded. Together, they have penned the how-to epic Writing Movies for Fun and Profit: How We Made a Billion Dollars at the Box Office and You Can, Too!, which is now available at retailers nationwide. We recently caught up with Thomas to chat about both the book and his quick appearance in Bad Teacher. Click on the clip below for our exclusive interview.

Paul Feig is nothing if not open. As the author of two wonderfully observed memoirs - "Kick Me," covering his childhood and "Superstud" chronicling his twenties, with his TV series "Freaks and Geeks" to semi-autobiographically fill in the rest of his early years -- he's let audiences grow up with him. With sharp, self-deprecating wit and warmth, he's been the best teller of his own story, one that's led him from an adolescence in Michigan where a respite from constant teasing in junior high was making TV commercials for his father's hardware store before he eventually took center stage himself to the slings and arrows of being a standup comedian and actor. However, partly out of his considerable humility and just as likely because it would ruin some of his schtick, the one area of his life that hasn't been as nearly well-documented has been the success he's found as a director.

James Urbaniak, the actor best known for playing Simon Grim in Hal Hartley's "Henry Fool" and provided the voice of Dr. Venture on "The Venture Bros" (not to mention a damn fine Twitterer), has launched a faux talk show web series called "Topic A with James Urbaniak."
In episode one, below, he takes on the genesis of the phrase "jumping the shark" with "James Breederman" (played by Dave Allen, aka Mr. Rosso from "Freaks and Geeks"), the writer of the "Happy Days" episode that inspired the saying. "Would you like to be smeared as a hack?!" a defensive, humorless Breederman demands.

"Freaks and Geeks" is now airing on IFC, and we thought we'd take this opportunity to revisit the show that launched a thousand bromance movies. Every week, Matt Singer and Alison Willmore will be offering their thoughts on that night's episode.
Episode 8: Girlfriends and Boyfriends
Directed by Lesli Linka Glatter
Written by Patty Lin and Paul Feig
Originally aired January 17, 2000
"It was the worst five dollars I've ever spent. And I wish I could get that five dollars back." -- Harold Weir
Matt: This week's episode is all about biology: while the geeks learn about plant cell structure with their lab partners (and Sam tries to forge a relationship with his crush, Cindy Sanders (Natasha Melnick)), Lindsay considers going all the way with Nick. And after last week's brief flirtation with lightness and broader humor, "Freaks and Geeks"' takes a sharp turn back toward the dark side.

This interview is part of our ongoing series related to The Influence Project.
When I saw that Dave Allen--the original bassist for the seminal post-punk band Gang of Four and the digital anthropologist at the Portland-based ad agency/production shop North--was involved in The Influence Project, I knew he should talk to Jason Harris. Harris is the president of the Sf-based ad agency/production shop Mekanism--the company producing The Influence Project with Fast Company--and a bassist who plays with the band Slumberparty. Though Slumberparty is no Gang of Four (yet, who knows?), I thought each would admire in the other their kindred spirits and have an interesting conversation about social media, rock and roll and how the punk rock ethos exists on the Internet. The exchange doesn't disappoint and even reveals a sultry definition of the word pampelmoose. A nice little bonus.

Ron Donald "Do's and Don'ts" begin episode 208, where a champagne and cocaine fueled Hollywood party is the setting for the Party Down crew. It's all glammy until sneering Joel Munt (Paul Scheer) makes his appearance, to his old writing partner Roman's chagrin. "Intellectual Titan" A.F. Gordon Theodore (Dave Gruber Allen) one of Roman's (Martin Starr) Science fiction author heroes, has hired "f***ing hack" Munt to adapt one of his epochal tomes to the big screen. But Hollywood has a way of putting everyone in their place, and Lydia (Megan Mullally) learns that powdering her nose has a whole new meaning in a party filled with "Philistines and Jews." After a quick tutorial in "Othello," Kyle...

David Koechner secures Tenure as comedy legend!
David Koechner is an improv legend and SNL veteran who has starred in such classic cult hits as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Snakes on a Plane and Run, Ronnie, Run (just to name a slight few). He also co-created the infamous The Naked Trucker and T-Bones Show, appearing as Gerald Tibbons, half of the comic musical duo who once toured this great country alongside Dave "Gruber" Allen, bringing their dynamic show from one knick-knack truck stop shack to the next before landing a short-lived stint on Comedy Central and then disbanding completely. Not to fret, though, as we recently caught up with Mr. Koechner to celebrate the upcoming DVD release of his latest comedy Tenure. The always gracious icon of unparallel comedic genius assured us that Ol' T-Bone Tibbons, the Naked Trucker, and the Dick Around Gang are indeed gearing up...

Samm Levine speaks out about his upcoming sci-fi comedy that will soon be released Samm Levine is coming off a successful 2009 after being one of the celebrated "basterds" of Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and 2010 looks to be an even bigger success for the actor. We caught up with Levine on the red carpet of the Streamy Awards last night in downtown Los Angeles and the actor told us about a new film of his coming out that we had previously not heard much about before, Drones.
"I have a movie called Drones, which we're having a little premiere for here in Los Angeles on Tuesday night," Levine said. "If they want to get tickets, they can go to DronesMovie.com. It costs a little bit of money, but 100% goes to charity, so if anyone is in the L.A. area and want to come, they definitely should. It's at the Egyptian Theater.

David Koechner assures us Anchorman 2 cast wants to return!
In March, it was widely reported that Anchorman 2 was being placed on hold due to Will Ferrell's inability to reunite the cast. We recently caught up with Champ Kind himself, David Koechner, to find out what was going on with the movie. He assures us that the entire cast does want to return, and that it's more about the studio stepping up to the plate. He also assured us that The Naked Trucker and T-Bones Movie is still in the works. Here's what he had to say about both projects:
There was some news a few weeks back, but you can never believe anything on the internet. Will Ferrell said that he really wanted to do a sequel to Anchorman, but it was on hold because he couldn't get all of you guys back together again. Who's the hold out?...

Amber Benson and Adam Busch (Tara and Warren, respectively, of "Buffy" fame) have teamed up to co-direct a film called "Drones," which appears to be a cross-pollination of the office slacker comedy and the aliens infiltrating and invading science fiction flicks, the love child of "V" and "Office Space." It's an independent film but landed a fairly impressive second tier cast with Samm Levine, Angela Bettis, Jonathan Woodward, and Dave Allen. Although she's the co-director, Amber Benson unfortunately doesn't pull a Shyamalan and give herself a role, probably because her SAG contract forbids her from appearing on screen unless making out with Alyson Hannigan.

Burbank – Chat Fatigue is coming.
Forget swine flu (or H1N1); Chat Fatigue will be the sickness that will overtake millions this fall. The group most susceptible to this are NBC viewers. Now that Jay Leno will be taking over the 10 p.m. slot from Monday to Friday (starting Sept. 14) on the Peacock network, viewers will get four hours of people sitting behind desks and talking directly to the camera.
Can the average viewer really handle going from Leno to local news to Conan O’Brien to Jimmy Fallon to Carson Daly? How many guys in suits and ties sitting behind a desk do you want to experience after an 8 hours of work day with guys in suits and ties sitting behind desks? They’re all going to stare at you through the boob tube and jibber jabber. Kinda like the doofus with the desk next to you at work.
