Drafted for the Korean War. He served as a U.S. Corporal stationed in Germany Feb 1953- Feb 1955.
Best known for his role as the 'Electrolarynx Guy' on My Name Is Earl (2005). Contrary to his role, Axelrod does not use an electrolarynx in real life.
