ABC’s The Good Doctor season five ended with Shaun and Lea getting married followed by a brutal attack that served up a heartstopping cliffhanger. And it appears season six episode one will pick up just minutes after the finale ended. Episode one, “Afterparty,” was directed by Mike Listo from a script by Peter Blake and will air on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 10pm Et/Pt.

In an interview with TVLine, executive producer David Shore discussed what’s in store for fans when they tune into the season six premiere. “The first episode has a huge amount of intensity and fun, but it’s difficult because it’s the immediate fallout [from the finale]… Lim’s journey is going to be a big part of it, we have some nice things planned for Glassman, and, of course, nothing but wedded bliss for Shaun and Lea.”

Revisiting the Supreme Court’s famously contentious decision in the 2005 case of Kelo vs. City of New London, which ruled against a Connecticut homeowner standing her ground in the face of redevelopment by the Pfizer Corporation, Balaker’s heartfelt film holds attention as a straightforward account of a complicated case, and benefits from the intelligent, careworn presence of Catherine Keener as its human anchor amid all the procedural to-and-fro. If the story’s political and personal nuances have been a bit flattened in Balaker’s script, keeping proceedings in a movie-of-the-week register, this “Little Pink House” nonetheless retains what property developers would call good bones.

The Weinstein Company has altered its release calender for 2011, with the most notable change being Apollo 18's shift into 2012. The Timur Bekmambetov-produced found-footage project was set to debut in less than a month, on April 22, and now it will be released on January 6, 2012. No other movies have been slated for release on January 6 yet.

The studio also moved Piranha 3Dd from September 16 to November 23. The 3D sequel would have squared off against Drive, Johnny English Reborn, and Straw Dogs on September 16. Now it will face Hugo Cabret, Arthur Christmas, Project X, and The Muppets.

Our Idiot Brother, formerly My Idiot Brother, has also been given an August 26, 2011 release date, and I Don't Know How She Does It will be released in Piranha 3Dd's former slot, September 16.

I know, I know - why in the world would I choose Dreamcatcher and The Faculty as a face off feature? Because they’re two pretty damn entertaining modern invasion films - that’s why! There are so many differentials between these two films it’s ridiculous. I understand, and openly confess my knowledge. But in the end, both of these are invasion flicks, and both are truly enjoyable pieces by a pair of talented film makers.
