Tubi has repeatedly shown itself as one of the best platforms for viewing movies in an era where streaming services are becoming increasingly popular. Whether it's a classic Western starring John Wayne or a high-voltage action thriller, the streaming platform has it all. Speaking of the latter, Tubi will add some of the genre's best films to its repertoire in February 2025.

From Liam Neeson's iconic Taken to the latest DC live-action feature of one of its most beloved characters, Blue Beetle, the previous month has been quite entertaining for Tubi users. Similarly, the streaming service has planned a number of intriguing action films, including arguably the greatest martial arts film starring Bruce Lee to Denzel Washington's newest entry from a lucrative franchise. So, without further ado, here's a list of every movie that will be available to stream for free on Tubi beginning March 2025.

'Transporter 3'...

The Transporter series introduced everyone’s favorite action hero, Jason Statham, and one of the sequels in the fan-favorite series is all set to stream for free. Released back in 2008, Transporter 3 was panned upon release (earning just 40% from critics and 48% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes) but nonetheless boasts the flair for fist-fighting that The Stath fans have come to know and love.

Directed by Olivier Megaton and written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, Transporter 3 finds Statham’s expert driver and courier paired with Valentina (Natalya Rudakova), the cynical daughter of a Ukrainian official. Now, Frank must use his particular set of skills to both guard his new charge, and himself, because if they wander too far from his beloved car...they’ll explode. Transporter 3 is now due to land on free streaming platform Tubi from March 1, 2025.

The Transporter is one of Jason Statham’s most iconic action movie franchises, but it remains unclear if he’ll ever play Frank Martin again in Transporter 5. The franchise debuted in 2002 with the release of The Transporter, which marked Statham’s first headlining role in a major action vehicle. The titular stoic mercenary-turned-driver quickly became the defining role of Statham’s career and opened the door to other opportunities in the genre. Not only did he go on to star in other action films like War, Crank, and The Mechanic; he reprised his role as Frank in two more Transporter movies.

The trilogy got bigger, bolder, and better with each movie. 2005’s Transporter 2 expanded the scope with even more bonkers action scenes and 2008’s Transporter 3 became the highest-grossing entry in the series. The Transporter franchise continued after that, with a fourth film and a TV spinoff, but Statham never played Frank again.

November will see a plethora of new films added to Paramount+, among them Transporter 3. Fans may be frustrated that only the third film is joining the library without its predecessors, both of which performed better with critics and filmgoers.

This is the third entry in the franchise that was originally started by Jason Statham but went on to be rebooted with Ed Skrein. Following poor box office performances, the exit of original star Statham, and a lack of vested interest in fans in the reboot, the franchise has gone to ground. And with the third film being added to the Paramount+ line-up without its predecessors, this suggests the franchise will likely not be moving forward any time soon.

Brussels-based sales company Be For Films has picked up international sales rights to two world premiere titles at the upcoming 75th Locarno Film Festival: Delphine Lehericey’s Piazza Grande entry “Last Dance” and Julie Lerat-Gersant’s Cineasti del Presente player “Little Ones.”

Lehericey’s third film, the dramedy “Last Dance,” is a Switzerland-Belgium co-production, teaming Lausanne-based Box Productions with Brussels’ Need Productions.

The film follows Germain, an introspective retiree who abruptly becomes a widower at 75. Suddenly, he finds himself at the heart of a contemporary dance company’s newest work, honoring a promise he made to his departed wife.

The film stars French actor François Berléand, Spanish-born choreographer, dancer and visual artist La Ribot, Kacey Mottet-Klein, Jean-Benoît Ugeux and Sabine Timoteo.

“Last Dance” is produced by Box Productions’ Elena Tatti, the producer of Lehericey’s previous features “Puppy Love” and “Beyond the Horizon” a best film and screenplay winner at the 2020 Grand Prix Swiss Award.

France TV Distribution has closed a raft of sales on “Hear Me Out,” a romantic comedy directed by French actor-turned-helmer Pascal Elbé.

The film stars Elbé as Antoine, a fifty-year old history professor who discovers that he’s losing his hearing and starts having a recluse life because of his handicap. His encounter with Claire, a widow whose daughter is mute, will help him open up again to the world. Elbé stars opposite Sandrine Kiberlain (“9 Months Stretch”), François Berléand (“How to be a Good Wife”), Emmanuelle Devos (“Read My Lips”).

France TV Distribution sold the film to a flurry of well-established distributors, including Neue Visionen (Germany), Vertigo Films Distribution (Benelux), New Cinema (Israel), Bim Distribuzione (Italy), Jmh Distributions (Switzerland) and Vertigo Films (Spain).

I not going to hide the fact I’m a huge Transporter fan, from the very first movie to the more recent, if little seen here in the UK, TV show, I’ve enjoyed [to various extents] each and every entry in the franchise. So, unlike some out there, I was not afraid to see the film series rebooted with a new star and a new story. And that’s what we get with The Transporter Refueled. My only worry was that no-one connected to the original films, apart from Luc Besson, had any part of this film… But then that was also the case with the series, and I really enjoyed that!

The newest model in the Transporter series is much the same as the previous versions, only with less wit and less cohesive action sequences. Not that the first three films were exactly paradigms of wit and cohesive action. Back in 2002, however, The Transporter felt relatively fresh, welding together Corey Yuen's action choreography with Luc Besson's European cool -- plus Shu Qi! Plus a befuddled François Berléand! -- to create a genuinely entertaining, international genre picture. As with many sequels, a downward trend became evident in subsequent installments, and the series appeared dead after it spawned a television spinoff. With all the unexpected movies we've seen being adapted for the small screen as of late, Luc Besson's The Transporter is one that actually seems quite well-suited for television. The original trilogy was comprised of no-nonsense action flicks made on a fairly limited budget and the premise is one that lends itself well to an episodic format. Cinemax has been in production on the first season of Transporter: The Series since last year, but they ran into a number of problems after the original showrunners left and the lead actor injured himself during an action sequence. A new trailer has been unveiled for the Transporter TV series. Cinemax's TV adaptation of The Transporter has lost showrunners Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie. The pair left the project over creative differences after just three weeks of filming, according to Deadline. The Movie Network, a Canadian premium cable network, announced yesterday that production has begun on its new original series Transporter. Obviously, this TV series is based on the film franchise The Transporter starring Jason Statham.

The TV series will be extremely different from the film franchises.

Statham won't be in the leading role as Frank Martin, a freelance transporter who signs on for hit jobs from fishy clients. The leading man for this series, which is in production in Toronto, is Chris Vance (Prison Break).

As for the stories, Frank will still have his golden rules: never change the deal, no names and never open the package. Speaking about changes, Frank will have a handler, Carla (Andrea Osvart). She's a former CIA operative. She organizes his mission. Carla also acts as Frank's eyes and ears on the outside.

Traffic has been halted this week in Nice, while pedestrians stand along the streets watching a car chase, completely unafraid of the bullets flying out the vehicles. Sound like a movie? Director/writer/producer Luc Besson has teamed up with Cinemax to bring his popular franchise The Transporter to the small screen. The pay cable channel has commited to twelve episodes of this new action series, which will be produced by French company Atlantique and executive produced by Luc Besson.

Each hour-long episode will center on professional courier Frank Martin, a role originated by Jason Statham and carried through the course of three big screen entries. This driver of dangerous goods will continue to rely on 3 personal rules as he traverses a seedy underground network of crime: Never change the deal, no names and never open the package.

The Transporter television series will being shooting this summer. There is no word yet on who will be playing Frank Martin, and it is unlikely that Jason Statham will make an appearance, unless it is a small, unrecognizable cameo somewhere down the line.

Chicago – It’s difficult to find a thematic trilogy with a conclusion as triumphant and potent as “Au Revoir Les Enfants.” The 1987 fact-based drama emerged as one of the great masterpieces in the career of Louis Malle, a giant of the French New Wave perhaps best known for his intimate two-character piece, 1981’s “My Dinner With Andre.” His films possess a purity and authenticity unmatched by many of his peers.

After a few critical and financial disappointments in America, Malle decided to get back in touch with his roots as a documentarian in the mid-80s (he won the Palme d’Or at age 24 for co-directing Jacques Cousteau’s “Le monde du silence”). Soon afterward, he returned to France and finally tackled the project he had promised to make once he was ready to do it justice. The plot of “Enfants” was directly inspired by an indelible memory from the director’s childhood.
