Erin Moriarty got her start in the industry when she was just 11 years old, and her best movies and TV shows run her entire timeline from her work as a teenager up to now. Because Moriarity was born and raised in New York, she is trained in theater as well as on-screen, but her professional work has all been for TV and film. Though one of her earliest roles was in the soap opera One Life To Live, the soap does not make it into her best work.
Soap operas, however, are notorious for being like bootcamp for actors just starting out in the industry since work on a soap is incredibly fast-paced and takes place nearly every day. Moriarty likely got a television crash course that has served her well. Most of her roles have been of a supporting nature in her career so far, but she has demonstrated...

The will-they-won't-they dynamic is a tale as old as time. Most notably, in sitcoms, this type of relationship between two characters allows a series to go on long-term without the main couple getting stale. This idea works not just in comedies but in many long-running procedurals. It also happens to be one of the biggest draws to the crime series Bones. Inspired by real-life anthropologist Kathy Reichs, the series features Temperance "Bones" Brennan, a genius in the field. Her extreme intelligence contradicts her inexperience with personal relationships.
Throwing in forthright Seeley Booth is designed to test Brennan as well as create tension for the series. At first, the two are just partners, but they go on to pursue romantic feelings for each other and eventually form a family. Bones is not the first series to attempt this, even if it does it very well. For fans who are yearning to recapture this classic dynamic,...

Kelli Giddish is coming back to Law & Order: Svu for the third time since leaving the show. She will reprise her role as Amanda Rollins in season 25, episode 11. The details of her return are still uncertain, but it will surely be a compelling storyline for her character.

Crime Story, Season 1, Episode 1 “Pilot”
Directed by Abel Ferrara
Written by Chuck Adamson, David J. Burke and Gustave Reiniger
Aired 18 September 1986
There are many reasons why the pilot of 1986’s Crime Story may not be great television.
The 90+ minute story by series creators Chuck Adamson and Gustave Reininger never gains any real traction as they introduce the 1963 Chicago Major Crimes Unit team and their mob rivals. Two veterans from Miami Vice, creators Adamson and Reininger’s ambitious story tries to introduce too many characters from both sides of the law. While focusing on Detective Mike Torello (more on him later), they try to cram everything from cop/mob rivalry and revenge to marital discord into this first episode. With everything they are wanting to accomplish, they lose sight of building any basic structure to this episode as this pilot moves from one plot point to another with little grace or...

Need to smuggle a huge (and I mean huge) stash of pot into America? No problem. Just do what Jason Sudeikis’ character does in Rawson Marshall Thurber’s “We’re the Millers” and hire yourself a family. Who pays attention to a regular American family just passing between the Mexican-American border? As expected, nothing quite goes as planned, cause if they did — well, there wouldn’t be a movie, right? That’s what happens in “We’re the Millers”, now available on DVD and Blu-ray. After his stash and his cash are stolen, leaving him in major debt to his supplier, Brad (Ed Helms), he must become a big-time drug smuggler by bringing Brad’s latest shipment in from Mexico. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced that Rawson Marshall Thurber's comedy We're the Millers will come to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download on November 19th.
The film centers on a low-level pot dealer, who poses as a family man in order to pay back a debt to his supplier in this comedy starring Saturday Night Live alumni Jason Sudeikis. If you're a soccer mom in search of some reefer, David Burke (Jason Sudeikis) is just the man to talk to. He certainly isn't the biggest dealer in town, but he's discreet, and aims to please. When David attempts to perform a good deed and gets robbed in the process, however, his supplier Brad (Ed Helms) is none too happy. Now, in order to pay Brad back before the hammer drops, David must retrieve a big drug shipment from Mexico and sneak back across the border undetected. It's a risky job for sure,...

"You are the worst family I've ever met." In just over under a week, Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston are going to smuggle a "smidge of mairjuana" across Mexico with their fake kids Will Poulter and Emma Roberts in the R-rated comedy We're the Millers. The first red band trailer for the road trip comedy made a surprisingly hilarious splash, and with the release of the film nearly upon us, one more raunchy red band trailer has arrived. This looks like it could be the sleeper comedy hit of the summer, and there's plenty of room for laughs from the supporting cast including Nick Offerman and Kathryn Hahn. New Line Cinema has released a red-band trailer for Rawson Marshall Thurber's comedy We're the Millers. The film centers on a single, small-time pot dealer (Jason Sudeikis) who ends up in debt to his supplier (Ed Helms). In order to bring the next shipment of drugs up from Mexico, the dealer puts together a fake family from his stripper neighbor (Jennifer Aniston), an eager teen (Will Poulter), and a streetwise punk (Emma Roberts) as a cover for his smuggling operation. I wasn't even aware that this was an R-rated comedy, but there are some good jokes in here. In all fairness, this movie hasn't really been on my radar, which is surprising because I've been waiting for Thurber to do a comic follow-up to Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. I was also a big fan of his "Terry Tate, Office Linebacker" commercials. Hit the jump to check out the trailer.

Meet David Miller, a seemingly mild-mannered married man and father of two who is planning a family road trip to Mexico. But let's get real for a moment. There is no David Miller. This poster.courtesy of Facebook.actually features David Burke, a grungy, low-level pot-dealer who has been tasked with picking up a massive shipment of drugs from Mexico by a sociopath who owns a shark-chomping killer whale that swims around the aquarium walls of his office. So, what does screw-up Burke decide is the best way to get this massive haul of marijuana through customs? By pulling together a fake family of misfits to masquerade the drug run as a family vacation. That is the wild plotline of the upcoming New Line comedy We're the Millers. Jason Sudeikis, who has played cads in Hall Pass, Horrible Bosses and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, stars as the duplicitous David.
